Chapter 6

____________Your POV_____________
You tried holding back your laughter, when you saw Levi in his 'cleaning outfit.'
He had said that your house was filthy, and needed to be cleaned.
His small outfit, consisted of a bandana around his head and mouth, as he scrubbed furiously at the wooden floors.
"N-Need help?" You managed to choke out, trying to hold in the laugh.
"Tch, sit there and wait." Levi growled as he continued to scrub.
"Fine, I hope you don't mind me putting in a song." You say as you walk over to your computer, and hooked up the two small speakers to it, and put on a song, that fit the situation perfectly.
(Listen to song above, please.)
"Tch, very funny brat." Levi hissed, as the song continued to play.
"Yeah, I just couldn't help it." You said finally cracking under the pressure, and began to laugh like a lunatic.
Levi just clicked his tounge as he got up off of the floor.
"So, what do you want for dinner." You say after your small laughing fit.
"I don't care." Levi says as he sits in the nearby chair.
"How about home made sushi?" You ask with a grin, as Levi's ears perked up a bit.
"Tch, whatever you want to make." Levi says as he turns his head to the side.
You chuckle as you say, "Fine, sushi it is."
After you were done cooking dinner, you set it on the table.
You and Levi ate in silence, before you asked the question, "Hey Levi, if your able to survive out of water, then does that mean others of your kind live on land?" You ask.
"Tch, of course. How else would we have managed to stay hidden from society for so long?" He says back, as he takes a bite of sushi.
You shrug your shoulders, as you continued to eat on peace.
After you were done eating, you looked outside, and saw that it was starting to get dark.
"So, you ready to head back?" You ask, as you began to wash the dishes.
"Tch, I'm staying the night." Levi states as he lays on the couch.
You paused what you were doing, trying to comprehend the words Levi just spoke.
"Ehh~, why!?" You shout.
"Because, I want to see what the humans have been up to, and since you know what I am, your going to be showing me around." Levi states as he continues to lay on the couch.
"B-But-" you began, but cut yourself off with a sigh, as you say "Fine."
You saw Levi smirk triumphantly as you continued to wash the dishes, then put them away.
"I have work in the morning, so I'm going to bed. The guest room is right across from mine." You say as you head towards your bedroom.
"Night Levi!" You call out to him, and you could've sworn that you heard a faint 'night' come from the stoic man.
You smile to yourself, as you head towards the bedroom, where you soon fall asleep.
____________Levi's POV____________
I was curious about (F/N)'s house, so once she got to bed, I got up off the couch, and began looking around the moderately medium sized house.
It had two guest rooms, and then her own room. The bathroom was located at the end of the hall, next to (F/N)'s room.
I quietly walked to my room, and saw a small dresser with pictures scattered across the top of it.
I walked up to it, and saw that they were pictures of (F/N) with different people.
One I recognized to be her father wearing a suit, and woman in a wedding dress.
The next few pictures were of, what I guessed, to be her friends.
But, most of them seemed to be of her and her father.
I looked through the pictures, and realized that they were in order, from when her parents got married, to when she was a baby, to now.
'And she calls me OCD.' I thought as I looked at the neat order she put them in.
I picked up a picture, and saw it was when she seemed to be eight, she was smiling, but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes as she stared at the camera.
I carefully set the picture down, before crawling into bed, before sprawling out on my back, so that I stare at the blank ceiling above me.
'She must've had a hard childhood. I mean she didn't have any parents when she was growing up. So the main question to me is how she got go be so nice.' I thought to myself.
As I continue to be plagued with these types of thoughts, I had soon come to realize that she was the only thing that I was thinking of, and because of that, I frantically shook my head, trying to ban the thoughts, and get a decent night sleep.
After a few minutes of silence, I began to feel my eyelids begin to weigh down.
I slowly close my eyes before falling into the realm of sleep.
When I awoke, I looked over, and saw the sun barely peeking out over the horizon.
I went out into the kitchen, and saw a small note on the table.
I picked it up, and it read:
Dear Levi,
Make yourself at home, I'm sorry I won't be able to show you around, until somewhere in mid afternoon, but you can treat yourslef to whatever you want in the fridge.
P.S. If you want or need anything give me a call, (Cell Phone Number).
After reading the letter, I clicked my tounge as I think to myself 'How early does she get up to go to work?'
I opened the fridge, and saw that there was some left over sushi from last night.
I picked it up, and began to eat it, after finishing my meal, I washed the dish, and put it in the sink rack.
I went out into the living room, and saw what Hanji described to be a TV. She said that humans normally use it as a form of entertainment, or just to watch something called the news.
I looked at the small rectangular thing, that Hanji said to be a remote, that helps change the channels and to turn the TV on.
After a few minutes of messing around with the remote, I finally managed to the TV on.
I then began to skim through each if the channels, before landing in something called ',the discovery channel'.
I left it on there, and soon found out that it would mostly talk about the animals of the world.
I looked at the clock, only to find that it's only ten in the morning.
I clicked my tounge as I thought, 'I guess I could just watch TV, until she's back.'
I then turned my attention back to black box on front of me, waiting for (F/N) to return from her work.
