'She's late.' I think, as I stay by the bank where we would usually meet up at.
I waited for another hour, but she still wasn't here.
I click my tounge as I go underwater.
'I knew I should never have trusted a human to keep their word.' I think, as I continue to swim aimlessly around.
But, that was when something caught my attention.
A few humans up on the cliff that (F/N) had been tossed from, were sitting around talking about something.
I stopped, and popped my head above water, but only far enough so that people still wouldn't be able to see me.
"Did you hear what happened up the road a few miles from here?" One of the humans asked.
"Yeah, such a shame too. But, I still can't believe that there was a car accident not too far from here." The other human said, looking a bit shocked.
I felt my breathing hitch, as I remember (F/N), but I shook my head, and continued to listen to the conversation.
"Yeah, but what shocks me the most was that the driver was killed on impact. They said it was a woman, and that she seemed pretty young too." The first human commented.
My eyes widen, and I could've sworn that my heart had stopped beating for a second.
I quickly dived back underneath the water, and swan as fast as I could back to the place that (F/N) and I would continually meet at.
Memories of our small conversations, and all the things that we did together in a short period of time, had begun to play around in my head.
Once, I finally made it back to the meeting area, I looked around frantically, my heart pounding in my ears.
'No, no, no, this can't be happening. She made a fucking promise to meet again.' I think desperately, as I continue to search around.
Suddenly, I hear rustling of bushes, and I snapped my gaze towards it.
I see a familiar figure stuble out, almost falling to the ground, with the familiar grocery bags in hand.
"S-Sorry, I'm late. There was a traffic jam. Some accident had happened." (F/N) explained, still panting, as if she was running all the way here.
I just stared wide eyed at the (H/C) haired girl in front of me.

Once you finally made it to the meeting spot, Levi just stared at you with wide eyes, almost as if he was staring at a ghost.
"What?" You ask as you tilt your head to the side.
"Tch, dumbass." Levi mutters, before turning around, his back facing you.
"Ehh~, I said I was sorry for being late." You whine, but then you remembered the groceries.
You smirked as you said, "And here I bought a bag full of sushi for you. Too bad, but I guess I can eat it instead."
Levi's body stiffened before turning to face you, a scowl present on his face.
"You better not." Levi hissed.
You laughed as you said, "Don't worry, I bought enough for you."
As you said this, you handed the entire bag over to Levi.
He immediately took it from your grasp, and took out one of the boxes of sushis.
You chuckled, as you grabbed the second bag, that you had. You opened it up, and you took out your own sushi box.
As you and Levi ate in peace, a question came to mind that you've been wondering about.
"Hey Levi." You called out.
Levi stopped eating, and faced you. Showing you that he was listening.
"I was wondering, can you survive on land?" You asked.
"Tch, idiot." Levi muttered, as he set the box of sushi down on the bank, and placed both hands on land.
He then proceeded to climb out, but as he did so, a bright light consumed his form, causing you to shield your eyes.
Once the light dimmed down, you looked up, and yelped before covering you eyes up.
The reason being, is that before you, is a completely naked Levi, with legs.
"P-P-Put something o-on, p-pervert!" You yelled as you continued to cover your eyes.
"Tch, you were the one who was curious." Levi hisses.
"But, you could've just told me, instead!" You yelled back, flustered.
"A-Anyway, I'll be right back!" You shout, as you clumsily got up, and turned around as fast as you could, so that you can avoid seeing Levi naked.
"Tch, where are you going?" Levi asks.
"To my car." Was your simple answer, as you rushed back to your parked car.
Once you grabbed the things that you needed, you ran back to the meeting area, and tossed Levi something, as you hid behind a tree.
"Tch, what are these?" Levi asks, as he hold up a large paper bag.
"Clothes, put them on." You say, as you still had your back towards him.
You hear the sound of the paper bag crinkling, and then the shuffling of clothes.
"Done." Levi said, and you turned around to see Levi dressed in a black shirt, and pants.
"Why do you have these anyway?" Levi asks.
"Spares, just in case someone needs a new shirt or pants." Was your simple answer.
Levi clicked his tounge, as he continued to stare at you.
"What?" You asked.
"Take me to your house." Levi states, as he walks past you.
"What!?" You shout, as you jog behind him.
"Why!?" You ask.
"Because, I want to see where you live, and besides, I just showed you my human form, I think this is fair enough." Levi states as he continues to walk on.
"B-But what about the sushi?" You ask.
"Tch, ate it all, while you were at the car." Levi states simply, as you and him made your way to your car.
You let out an exasperated sigh, as you say "Fine, but only for tonight."
"Fine." Levi states, as you and him get in your car.
'This is going to be a long night.' You think as you turn your car on.
