Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the princess of thee Miraculous Waters and the Miraculous kingdom swam through her home waters, her crimson red tail shining in the sun seeping through the waters edge.

Marinette Swam up to the pier and hid behind a broken log gently peering up at the sky through the crystal waters.
Discovering her surroundings as safe, Marinette swam up to the surface taking a whiff of the smell of rotten fish and the salty waters.

'Yuck!' Marinette yelped ducking under the water as soon as someone- a kid perhaps? peered under the shifted log.

Marinette thinking quickly tucked her hands out and swam behind a drifting patch of bright green coral preying that she wasn't seen and managed to see the silhouette of the kid walk away slowly gazing at the water in curiosity.

Phew. Marinette thought breathing out a breath she held. I'm safe.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng." King Thomas Dupain-Cheng and Queen Sabine Cheng boomed loudly that probably the whole ocean heard.

Marinette visibly froze, turning around ever so slightly wishing this all was a dream...

"What do you think you're doing?" Nope, I'm dead. Definitely not a dream!

"Hey mum... dad.." I shuttered shyly waving slightly. "I was just-"

They both looked at me disappointed while I sighed, I know I couldn't lie! There my parents.

"I was visiting the surface." I admitted. "I just can't help it." I explained looking up at the sun drifting from the waves. "I just want to breath in the fresh air, smell there sea flowers and dance around on the sand and go to school. I breathlessly smiled the averted my eyes to my parents.

"I'm sorry."

"Darling." Sabine smiled swimming
over to me and pulling me into a hug.
"We know how much you love the surface so dad and I have arranged something for you."

"Really?" I asked now curious. "What is it?"

"Princess Marinette Dupain-Cheng you have been gifted with this pair of ladybug earrings, otherwise, known as a miraculous. Once wearing these earrings you are able to turn your fin into a tail by stepping onto the surface, then on you'll have to discover the miraculous's secrets." Sabine explained while Tom handed Marinette the brown box.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed wrapping my arms around my parents.

"It's okay Marinette, we know how much you love the ocean and the human world." Dad and Mum explained hugging back.

"Before you go." Dad cutted in pulling out a 2 shell suitcases. "In here is 'Human Clothes, Money, Jewellery and some relics' for you."

"I'll visit ok weekends." I promised kissing there cheeks and swimming up to the surface.

"We'll miss you Marinette, stay safe." Mum whispered while i thought, 'I'll miss you too.'

I was swimming near the pier, admiring the coral and fish for the last time when I saw a crash in the ocean?
I cautiously swam behind some seaweed and popped my head up and saw....
