"So she is a mermaid!"

"You called the gym teacher a BITCH!?" Principle Damocles yelled. We managed to walk in on him wearing an owl themed spandex bodysuit and making poses. Adrien and i looked at eachother and burst out laughing. "What are you two laughing at anyways?!"

"Sorry Sir, but i can't help it. What are you wearing?!" Adrien fell to the ground laughing and holding his stomach. Sir, huh? I like it!

"If you knew the type of situation I'm in then you would define understand...Sir," I winked. I could see the small principle start to turn red and steamy. He did not look happy.

"Miss Dupain-Cheng, you are a new student here. Today is your first day and you already got into trouble several times. You disturbed lessons with your singing, kicked Adrien in the...umm...private parts..." Mr Damocles looked at Adrien dissaprovingly while he was complaining that I was some sort of superhero with fast fast reflexes and pure luck or something, "and pissed off Ms. Melendeliv! What do you have to say for yourself?!"

"I have a complaint that teachers should not hit their students with hose water, isn't that illegal or something?" I said bluntly. Adrien started to laugh even harder.

"Adrien, I'm giving you a warning this time. Get out. You may resume class. And wear a shirt!" Mr Damocles yelled. Adrien was in his swimming suit the whole time we were here. He even tried to flex for me before we got here...Dripping wet without a shirt on. All I have to say is Kim has some new competition. "And Marinette," he turned his head to me, "stay here for a moment."

Adrien did as he asked and left the room without a single complaint. Weird, I didn't think he would go so willingly. "What is it?" I asked.

"I know about your situation," he said. My eyes started to widen. How did he figure out?! Did Alya tell him?

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I lied and couldn't dare to look at him in the eye.

"Don't worry, Alya told me to keep it a secret. I was just about to call Ms.Melendeliv and make up an excuse to not let you not swim but it looks like I should have called earlier." Mr Damcoles chuckled.

"So what are you going to do to me now? Call the government about my existence?" I sat down on one of his seat folding my legs together. I hid my nervousness. If he did I would be screwed for sure. I'd be tested on, they'd find my family and my miraculous could be put in the hands of dangerous people.

"What do you think I should do?" he gave me a slight smile.

"Let me go and forget this ever happened?" I suggested. His smile somehow reassured me and told me everything was going to be fine.

He let out a small chuckle, "you know when Alya first told me about you I thought she went crazy and was hust desperate for a new story but she isn't the type of person to joke around and make lies, so I trusted her. I always wondered if mermaids existed. I guess you're living proof."

"I don't like to talk about my past," I was only able to say that because all the feelings i was holding back. My fascination with humans only caused me trouble with the other teenagers at the palace. They called me 'weird' and mocked me until i got really popular growing up because of my looks and my inheritance of the miraculous.

"I know you must've gone through alot.. But i can reassure you right now that everyone at this school supports eachother and you will never feel unappreciated. We treat eachother as family and i know there are so many people who already love you here. You're part of the francois Dupont family now." He smiled at me gently.

My eyes widened. How could humans have such big hope and trust for someone they only met today? How could they live everyday like it was their last day of life? Happy, energetic, and courageous. He called all the students of this school his family. I haven't heard something as wonderful as that in a long time.

This is why i was so fascinated about humans, they are so welcoming towards everyone. They accept people and love them for their differences. They don't care that i'm a mermaid, they like me for who i am without the tail or crown.

"So? Is there anything else you want to say?" Mr Damocles asked with a kind smile.

I started to get up on my feet again, my head was help up high and I didn't feel as bad as I did before. I felt supported. I wanted to tell him one more thing now..."Yes I do..." Mr Damocles kept on grinning at me. "So about the swimming uniforms you designed-" I started to say but got cut off.

"Get out," he said immediately pointing at the door.

Adrien's POV

"And Miss Dupain-Cheng," Mr Damocles faced Marinette, "stay here for a moment."

I just got out of the room as he asked and went straight to class... Yeah right, i'm as curious as a cat! After I got out of the room I immediately closed the door and put my ear onto it to 'listen' not eavesdrop.

"I know about your situation," Mr Damcoles said.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Marinette replied coldly. Situation? This was getting good!

"Don't worry, Alya told me to keep it a secret. I was just about to call Ms. Melendeliv and make up an excuse to not let you not swim but it looks like I should have called earlier." Mr Damocles said nervously. Alya? Well that explains why she was so friendly with Marinette back at first hour... Wait a second...

She knew about Marinette and didn't tell me when I was desperately looking for her?!

"So what are you going to do to me now? Call the government about my existence?" So she is a mermaid! Ha! I was right, i knew I wasn't going crazy!

"What do you think I should do?" the old man asked.

"What are you doing Adrien?" a cold voice hissed behind my back.

I slowly turned around to see my angry older brother... Felix. Holy! Why the hell was he here out of now of all time?! "Nothing... I was just walking out of the office. Nice to see you," I muttered as I tried to run away. I may be an amazing and attractive guy, but right now I had to run.

"Where do you think you're going Adrien?" Felix grabbed my scarf as I attempted to run away. Well that was a major fail! "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't dob on you for what your doing?" he glared at me.

I had to think...One good reason...I got it!

"If you let me free I won't tell Melodie that you're her secret admirer," I let out a small smirk. I saw him flinch a little. Got you.

(I know it says Melodie because shes Felix's love interest for now, but maybe Bridgette might make an appearance... Soon? Hehe spoiler!! Tell me your opinions so far...!)

"How the hell do you know that?!" He let out a small roar.

I grinned even more, "I saw you leave flowers to her dorm when I was walking Rose back to her room, so I'll give you two options Felix. Pretend you never saw me and I won't tell Melodie anything or tell on me and I'll tell her everything."

Felix twitched his right eye and took several minutes to think about my choices, "fine."

"Yes!" I let out a small cheer.

"But I will get you back for this, watch your back," He glared at me before he left.

Good, now I can get back to 'listening'. I put my ear at the door again.

"So? Is there anything else you want to say?" I heard Mr Damocles say. Damn it! Thanks to Marinette their conversation is over now!

"Yes I do..." Mari said, maybe this wasn't over. "So about the swimming uniforms-"

"Get out," Mr Damocles cut off. What about the swimming uniforms? They look just fine to me...

I could hear Mari giggle (totemo kawaii) and her footsteps getting closer towards me. Crap! I started to run like hell before she got out of the room.

Now how am I gonna prove Mari is my mermaid?

*Ring Ring*

Yes! School is over!

Mari's POV

*Ring*

I started to walk towards the exit, guess school is over for today. Now I have to get to my new home, I remembered Alya said that my home isn't a dorm. Just a small apartment building on beach Street so I wouldn't have to share with anyone and get my secret exposed.

"Marinette!" My savior Alya came to my rescue.

"Alya!" I ran up to her and tackled her with a hug.

"Girll! I can't believe what you did!" the blogger hissed.

"I know I'm horrible! Lets talk about this at my place!" I grabbed Alya's hand and got out the school.

"What was that all abou- never mind, I can't believe what you done!" she yelled.

"In my defense when I called Ms. Melendeliv a bitch she deserved it!" I rose my hands up in defense.

"I can't believe that slave deal with...You called Ms. Melendeliv what?!" Alya looked at me in disbelief.

Crap...She didn't know that?! I just dug my own grave...Guess we have to play the blame game. "Well why did you tell the principle my secret without telling me!?"

"Don't change the subject!"

"You swore not to tell anyone!"

"W-Well you knew I had a crush on Nino and made that stupid bet!"

"Because you didn't have enough courage to tell him you like him or try and make a move!"

"Y-You fish girl!" Alya started to turn red in embarrassment.

"At least I'm not an yucky human!" I quipped.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Can we just forget all the bad stuff that happened?" I suggested.

"...Sure, we both have reasons to be mad at each other and fighting will get us nowhere." Alya agreed.

I let out a thankful smile, "so now show me where I live~"

Adrien's POV

I still have no ideas on how to get proof.

I was walking to my dorm thinking ideas. Luckily for me Melodie was walking Rose back to her dorm. Like I was saying, nothing came to me. Sure I could just throw a bucket full of water at her but now that I think about it, a part of me wanted her to tell me who she was not force her.

Marinette's POV

Pink, cute and pretty. I lived my apartment that was conveniently near the beach.

"Well Mari I need to go. I have to talk to Nino about the student council. I told you about that right?" Alya asked as she exited my new home.

"Nope but Rose told me and good-bye," I waved.

"Oh and also you start your new job tomorrow at chat noir's bakery across the beach, but you shouldn't worry, Melodie, a friend who works there will help you out," Alya put on her boots and exited out of my apartment.

"Bye Alya and thanks!~" I smiled. "Now what should I do?" I asked myself.

*Ding Dong*

Was that Alya? She didn't forget something here did she? I walked up to the door. "What is it Al-" I cut off my own sentence...The person at my door wasn't Alya...

"Princess!"

"Marinette... I missed you my love."

"Oh no..."
