Chapter 6: Washed to shore
I've learnt how to link people a couple weeks ago, so I'll link you to the artist of this picture. @ThePixelKitti

I'm getting really nervous at this point and I want to swim away but how would a human react to another swimming out to sea?! He then lets out a nervous laugh from our awkward conversation. I feel weirded out from this talk too. He leaves me alone under this wooden deck in the salty and blue water. I become calm at the thought of being alone again since I'm used to it and I also freeze up at talking to things out of water for obvious reasons. When he leaves I put my head in the water and submerge myself but stay close to the shore. I want to stay close to avoid sharks and other predators out there and besides, there are plenty of fish and other things to eat here... The only thing I worry about is crabs snipping at me and humans finding me out and perhaps other possibilities of dangers here but I'm sure it's still a lot safer here than down there, especially when you compare it to the deepest parts of the ocean.

I stop cooking lobsters and turn off the BBQ. I look at the Sandy floor to see a JellyFish near me. It's squishy figure lays still on the beach. It's dead... How it's come to land, I saw that it was beached and I didn't want to touch it. A man picked it up and dropped it near me on purpose and went somewhere else on the beach. He probably put it there to piss me off but I'm not angry with him in the slightest but the JellyFish on the other hand, I keep on forgetting it's there and keep on stepping on it. I'm not wearing shoes and when I do step on it, I feel it's squishy body composed mostly of water. I've learnt some facts about JellyFish... Despite the name, JellyFish are not actually fish but instead are classed in a group of their own as they are unlike any other animal on Earth. The body of a JellyFish is made up by a none-living jelly-like substance called Mesoglea. This jelly is surrounded by a layer of skin that is just one cell thick. The body of a JellyFish is mainly made up of water, around ninety percent in fact. I'm currently stuck in my thoughts and take a step forward and what do I feel beneath me... A squishy body composed of water... I don't even bother to look down and I walk further with a frowny face and eyes squinted in annoyance. I rub my feet on the sand on purpose to get rid of that squishy feel. I soon shrug off the feeling of stepping on the JellyFish and I see Charlie walking towards me with an empty plate. "Hey, Lewis?" He says, technically asking me a question. "Yes." I answer. "Uhh... Did you see a guy with black hair and a purple-dyed fringe?" He asks. "No, I haven't. Why?" "Well, I met him and he's really introverted." Charlie says. "Well where is he?" "He's over there under the-" he says as he points to the poles that support the enormous, wooden structure. "Oh, he must've went home or swam somewhere else." Charlie says as he looks around for him. "I was thinking of introducing him to you. He just seemed so introverted and I wanted to try and help him socialize... Maybe I came on a bit too strong." Charlie continues to say.
