Will's P.O.V.

I decide I shouldn't be here for long since I'm hiding behind the wooden pole in the second row which is pretty far out so I search around a little. I go underwater but something catches my eye... The pole I see in front of me has some sort of black goo or ink. I strach it but it's solid as a rock. I go downward to the smooth sand to find a rock or something hard enough to break it... I do find a rock which is big as my hand and is heavy yet easy to lift. I swim back up to that pole and bash the rock on that black, stained spot. After a couple of hits with the rock a couple times a medium-sized chunk breaks off and slowly sinks but I catch as I drop the rock. It's solid as it was before and I look around the pole to see if there's anymore but there isn't. I take the mysterious, black, hardened ooze with me and swim around. I snake away from this beach and go south around whatever country or place I've arrived to... I of course don't know of which place I'm in. As I roam I once again pop my head above the water and see a big white boat far ahead of me. I go over to it as I submerge and see that they must be Whale Watchers... There is a pod of Humpback Whales... One cetacea is doing is weird jumping trick they usually do as I can see some others blowing there holes which causes the water to splash. I look around and see below me is more ink... I go down swiftly and as I stop levitate above it the substance spreads everywhere painting most of my tail as I flail around to get away but it's too late. I didn't expect it to be all goopy and I try to rub it off with my right hand but that only puts a smudge on my hand along with the webbings on it.  Fourty percent of myself is black now... I guess I could just swim around and wait till my colors show again... I try swimming in circles and zigzags but it's not coming off... Maybe if I give it some time then...  I search around this place more and as I scan the area I find something on the ground... It's as tall as a human, has weird, red sticks to help support it but right now it's laying down flat... Most of it is reflective like the water but I've never seen the reflection so clearly... The reflective part has cracks on it. I take a look out of curiosity... My tail is long and amethyst-purple with see-through fins on it... I see curved spike tattoos near my shoulders and small see-through fins on my arms... I hold up my hands to look at my webbed fingers... I put my head to the side to see my webbed ears... I face the mirror to see my teal eyes... My hair moves constantly in the water in it's black and purple color combination... I gaze at the other parts of myself to see the obvious black splats covering the lower part of my body which is snakish. When I was looking at myself I pretended the ink wasn't there and I wouldn't be having this problem... I guess it's kinda cool... I feel like covering my whole body in that now... Even my face. I wonder when the hunger will set in but it's not yet...

Attention: Anyways guys, I'd like to hear what you think of this fanfiction and how you think mermaids would be in real life? Do you think they'd be nice and save you from drowning or be creepy and pull you under or if they could be neutral?

Also tell me if I should stop putting tripple dots in my sentences so much?
