I sighed as I took a water bottle from the fridge, putting into my swim bag. I was going back to the pool today and my mum was currently standing next to me, making sure I had everything or that I wouldn't get sun stroke.

"Water, Niall? Sunscreen? Why don't you just let me help you put it on ---" I cut her off before she could go on and on.

"Mum, I'm fine. I can do it myself," With that, I swung my bag on my shoulder and walked out to my car, waving to my mum who was standing in our living room window.

I think the reason my mum was so overprotective of me was because of what had happened to my dad. My mum and dad had gotten into a fight late on night and my dad left. He apparently had went out to the bar he always went to, and tried driving home drunk.

His car ran out of gas when it over on top of train tracks, and we got the call the next morning that my dad wouldn't be coming home anymore. My mum still blames herself to this day since she was the cause of the fight in the first place.

It hurts my heart that my mum thinks that, but I've just learned to accept it by now.

I turned the radio on, playing with the stations and settled on one that was playing a Katy Perry song. Then, I began my drive to the pool.

I went to park in my usual spot, only to have another car pull into the spot right before which resulted in me slamming on my brakes so I wouldn't hit the car.

Of course, it was my luck when the person was Ariel.

And, she was now walking over to my car.

This was just fantastic.

I know, I deleted this story! But I got it back and I've finally updated! This story is my baby and I actually found out what I wanted to do with it. I hope you all realize that most of these chapters are going to be short, sure there may be a few long chapters, but nah, this is probably the longest they'll be!
