Humans, it seems, are quite annoying.  They do not leave you alone, and continuously bother you, even if you say that you wish to be alone.  They want you to do what they want to do.  I have stopped talking to them.

I wish that I could escape and swim away under the waves.  Humans are dull and infuriating, and I've honestly had enough of their species.

I managed to hide in the bathroom and avoid the water; this may raise some eyebrows.  I may have to say that I am Aquaphobic...

The spell worked!  I went swimming, as my house is by a private beach and my father does not return from work until six.  I felt an odd tingle in my legs, and when I looked down, they had merged.  Naturally, I was afraid.  Before I could get out, however, my legs had turned into a long, elegant, maroon tail.  Webs spread between my fingers, and when I felt my neck, there was a faint imprint of gills.  The ocean, as I discovered, is wonderful.  There's so many creatures that humans have not yet discovered; for the best, probably.  There are some that seem horrifying, though they are quite tame... to me, at least.  Perhaps it is just a mermaid thing.
