Merlin woke to the sound of screaming and yelling, things smashing and being destroyed. The castle shook and jolted violently, Merlin looked down to see Arthur snapping awake too.

Merlin and Arthur rushed from the brunettes chambers, only to feel the castle jolt and shake violently again, this time the holy managed to cause the two to stumble slightly. Arthur grabbed a random sword and followed Merlin down several corridors. Merlin and Arthur ran into Lucia, she was beaten and bloodied, she panted,

"Me-Merlin.. We have to get you out if Camatin.. you'll die if they find you.. It's an attack from Cedric's armies and Morgana armies combined." Merlin grit his teeth when suddenly, from the courtyard Morgana screamed, her voice laced with hatred and pride,

"EMRYS! SHOW YOURSELF!" Merlin balled his fists and set his jaw, then pressed himself to the wall and made his way down another corridor, Lucia and Arthur following confused.

Merlin entered the courtyard and looked around. Several buildings had been destroyed, random patches of fire were littering the grounds. Morgana was standing on a stage like thing, often used for burnings and hangings, a truly evil grin on her lips. Merlin stepped forwards and kicked a large rock, drawing everyone's attention. He looked around and saw Camatins knights, still in their chainmail kneeling before Morgana, their hands bound together, their ankles bound as well. The Camelot knights were bound as well, their restraints were entwined so the knights were forced to kneel side-by-side, their shoulders together painfully close. Morgana smiled cruelly snapped and fingers, several of the barbaric soldiers surrounded him. She began to talk, her voice the usual low hiss,

"Ahh, Emrys. So glad to see you again." Merlin swallowed and said, his knuckles were still clenched,

"Morgana, forgive me if I don't kiss your feet and the very ground you walk on." Morgana smiled and said, all the knights were watching Merlin now,

"Ah.. as stubborn and cocky as ever." Merlin smirked weakly and Morgana snapped again. The soldiers surrounding Merlin suddenly drew their swords and Merlin let out a small cackle, startling everyone. Three soldiers rushed over and grabbed the distracted Arthur and Lucia. The knights, the king of Camelot and Camatins ward were watching Merlin, no one had ever seen him like this and it was rather terrifying. Merlin raised his head, the look in his eyes made Morgana shiver weakly,

"Oh Morgana, you know much better than to think these idiotic soliders could stop me." Morgana grit her teeth and yelled,

"GET HIM!" Merlin raised his hands and yelled an enchantment, his eyes flashed the gold color.. they looked as of they were on fire. The soldiers were set flying backwards, unconscious before they landed on the ground. Everyone looked at Merlin with a sense of awe and surprise, including Arthur. Morgana gasped weakly and Merlin grinned like a manic, he then said, looking up into the sky, the sun just barely risen,

"What was it that you said Morgana, 'the most powerful and dangerous sorcerer to walk this planet.' That's what you said, correct? That I was the deadliest thing to walk the world?" Morgana gasped weakly and Merlin looked at her, his eyes burned with the gold color and Morgana was sent flying backwards, a weak scream escaped her startled lips.

Merlin stepped forward, Morgana pulled herself to her feet and she hissed and enchantment. Merlin was sent flying backwards but he pulled himself up nonchalantly and smirked, no one had ever seen this side of the brunette.

"You attack my kingdom, my subjects, my knights and Camelot.. And you expect me to go down without a fight.? Oh Morgana, you've never been more wrong in your life." Merlins eyes burned again and Morgana froze, a pained yelp escaped her lips. Merlin tuned to the knights and lowered his head, his eyes flashed and the shackles that joined everyone disintegrated into dust and ash.,

Merlin set his jaw and watched the unconscious soldiers, he was extremely deep in thought.

'Damn, I've made the whole Camelot knight thing worse, they've all seen what I can do.. what do I do now?! Dammit!' He looked up and saw Arthur walking towards him, stepping over unconscious bodies as he walked.

"What now Merlin?" Merlin sighed and said, looking at the statue-like Morgona,

"I don't know Arthur.. I don't know." Morgonas eyes suddenly flashed and Merlin was sent flying backward, she moved and took off running in another direction. Merlin shot up and ran after her, yelling to his Camatin knights. They followed Morgana for a while, but she vanished and Merlin couldn't find her. They returned to the square where the others were and Merlin said through gritted teeth,

"She got away.. she has waged war on us.." Arthur watched Merlin, he had never seen Merlin like this before and it was strange. In Camelot, Arthur was used to the Merlin who often called the blonde prince a clotpole and the Merlin who had saved his life so many times. The Merlin who brought him his breakfast and literally dragged him out of bed. The Merlin who was different from the other servants in the kingdom. Merlin..

Merlin looked at the knights and he seemed to snap out of him angry little trance.

"Are you all alright?" Everyone nodded and Merlin exhaled weakly, looking off towards the sunrise, he muttered,

"Good.. good." Merlin looked up into the sky, the drizzle from the early morning starting to stop. Merlin sighed again and ran a hand through his tangled and messed up hair, which was sticking up slightly,

"Damn.. What is your game Morgana?" Merlin lifted a hand, he started to chew on one of his fingernails. He was fuming slightly, his face was getting pale but his cheeks and ears were turning a tinted pink from the cold bitter early morning cold. Skylar, the Camatin knight with the pure white hair and the ocean blue eyes, the scar on his eyebrow stepped forward and asked,

"Sire, are you alright?" Merlin nodded and said, turning to face Skylar,

"Fine, I'm fine Skylar.. How did Morgana get into Camatin?" Markus, the knight with the jet black hair and the whiskey brown eyes, stepped forward and said,

"Morgana used her magic to incapacitate the beasts that patrol the borders of the kingdom.. The guards and knights were probably knocked unconscious." Merlin nodded and said, pointing the other knights,

"Find the guards and knights, make sure they're unconscious. Hurry." A few knights nodded then they and Skylar took off running towards the castle walls. Merlin returned his attention to Arthur and the Camelot knights, he said with serious concern and worry in his tone,

"Are you all alright, you all weren't hurt too much.." No one answered and Merlin asked again, this time a lot more commanding and serious,

"Are you all alright?" Everyone nodded and Merlin sighed, relieved.

"Thank god.."

Merlin turned away from everyone, his back was to the knights and Arthur now, he crossed his arms and was deep in thought. He was chewing on his thumb nail,muttering under his breath. Lucia looked at everyone, then said, an extremely amused expression on her face,

"Bet you guys never expected any of this.." All the knights, except for Lancelot nodded weakly. Lucia looked at Lancelot then smiled weakly. She fixed her clothes and said, talking to Merlin,

"Merlin, we need to help the wounded then we need to strategize our attack on Morgona's forces.. Are you alright?" Merlin scoffed weakly and muttered weakly,

"Fine.. fine. Check on the guards that were injured, get the court physician and check Camelots knights for injuries." The Camelot knights were starting to protest but Merlin looked at them with a raised eyebrow. The protest died down and Merlin smiled weakly.
