Lancelot POV

I watched helplessly from the window in my chambers, seeing Arthur, Merlin, and the others come back from yet another hunt. During one of our patrols, something had spooked my horse, therefore causing me to fall off and roll down a hill. Somehow, I had broken my ankle and remained unconscious for 2 days. Arthur and Gaius have me laid up in bed, confined to my chambers until I heal completely. So far, the only visitors I've had are my fellow knights (Leon, Elyan and Percival), Arthur, Merlin, Gaius, Gwen and Gwaine.

Ah, Gwaine. My beloved knightly boyfriend. Ever since Morgana invaded Camelot with Cenred's immortal army, Gwaine and I have grown extremely close. We had a lot in common: saving Arthur's life, being brunettes, saving Merlin's life, befriending Arthur and Merlin...looks like the one thing we both have in common is Arthur's manservant, Merlin. I know he has magic; he wasn't exactly subtle when casting the spell on my lance to kill the griffin some years back. I haven't said anything, nor do I plan to say anything about it to anyone else. I would never dare betray Merlin like that.

Speaking of said manservant, I saw him talking privately with Gwaine, and something in the pit of my stomach churned. I couldn't bear to see this sight. Arthur must've entered the room because he was sitting there with me, watching them. His eyes—they looked cold and distant. It looked like he would've snapped Gwaine's head clear off his body. I felt the same with Merlin, though I know I'd never do it; he's one of my best friends. Then it clicked in me. We were jealous of their friendship. They looked so close, and we could not fathom to understand it.

"Arthur...you're jealous aren't you?" I asked softly. "I try not to be, but sometimes I can't help it. I know he loves me, and that he'd never betray me. But, there are some times where I just get so jealous and possessive. Merlin doesn't know, of course; he's a bit oblivious." Arthur explained. I smiled to myself; Merlin was indeed oblivious to affection and whatnot. "Lancelot...are you jealous? Of Merlin and Gwaine?" The king asked. "Sometimes," I answered. "But, it's like you said. I know Gwaine loves me, and he won't betray me. I just can't help the feeling of jealousy when I see him with someone else." I said.

Gwaine POV

Merlin and I chatted before heading into the castle, looking for our boyfriends, Arthur and Lancelot. Of course, we found them in Lancelot's chambers, talking amongst themselves. It was quite obvious they were jealous of mine and Merlin's friendship. They're not exactly the subtle type of gentlemen. Merlin chuckled to himself. "Poor blokes are jealous," he whispered. I smirked, knowing that I could use this to embarrass Lance in the future. I must say he's rather adorable when he's jealous.

Merlin had went off to Arthur's chambers to do some chores, and I waited until the blonde exited Lancelot's chambers. I quietly walked in and smirked at Lance, who obviously couldn't see me. "You know...jealousy does suit you," I said, watching him nearly jump from his seat. "Gwaine! I-uh-I...how much did you hear?" He asked with a pink face. "Enough to know you're jealous. But you shouldn't be. Merlin is Arthur's boyfriend; and he is also one of my most trusted friends." I said. "I know. I just...I can't help it sometimes. You used to be such a flirt, and I fear sometimes you may find someone else," he admitted.

I sat next to him, gently lifting his face up to meet my eyes, wiping away the stray tears on his face. "Lance...if I wanted to find someone else, I would've left long ago. But I didn't; I'm staying right here at your side and I'm not leaving. I...I love you, Lancelot. And I will do nothing but stay with you until you order me away. I'm loyal to you until my dying day." I said honestly. This made his tears fall down faster. I kissed his head, holding him close. "I love you too, Gwaine. I love you so much," he mumbled into my tunic.

I sat there with him for the remainder of the night. He fell asleep against my shoulder, causing me to grin from ear to ear. I carefully dressed him for bed, and got dressed myself before climbing into bed with Lancelot. He must've sensed my presence because he leaned into my touch as I carefully wrapped my arms around his torso, kissing his head lightly. I meant what I said.

I love him. And I will always remain loyal to him. He's mine for eternity.
