Damsel in distress/ Silver valley alternate continuation

This chapter is connected to another chapter, 'silver valley' (not 'silver valley continued', only 'silver valley') if you fully want to understand this chapter, I suggest you go back and read that. Except that Arthur came to terms with the fact that Merlin has magic. Despite that, Merlin still doesn't like talkative bout his magic.

I'm getting a really bad habit of starting a chapter, thinking it's horrible, and deleting it. That's one reason I haven't been uploading as much. Anyway, I finally finished another one! Sorry for long paragraphs, and here ya go Merlineans!!!

There they were. On another stupid mission. When was Arthur going to learn that going on missions was usually a bad idea? Literally every mission the princess went on would turn out horrible. If Merlin wasn't there, the gold haired boy would be dead ten times over. Well, probably more than ten, but nobody was really counting.

Anyway, they were on their way to save a princess. Yes, the princess wanted to save a princess. That was Merlin's favourite joke at the moment. Despite Arthur's attempts to make Merlin shut up, he was still talking.

There had been rumours of a Princess stuck inside a tower, protected by a dragon. Merlin was seriously wondering why princes saving princesses from castles seemed to be all the rage these days, but he was sure he could do a far better job then Arthur when it came to getting rid of dragons. It was actually quite funny how Arthur thought he could kill 'another' dragon.

"There's the tower!" Arthur muttered more to himself than to Merlin.

Moving forward, the two began to look for a dragon. At the moment there was none in sight.

There was no laughter, no jokes, and no speaking whatsoever. They barely breathed. Their focus was on the landscape. Still no dragon.

Now they were at the tower, yet, there still was no dragon. So Arthur began cautiously climbing up the tower with Merlin.

Merlin being in bad shape continuously huffed.

"Merlin, you're so loud, the dragon is going to be so annoyed by your huffing, he's going to kill you first."

"Nah, huff, he's going to be more annoyed by your huff voice. He'll try to get rid of you first."

"Shut up Merlin."

At the top of the tower, the two slipped in through the open window. They found a simple sleeping quarters with a bucket on the left, a bed near the back, and a closet beside the bed.

In the bed was a slim young figure, and a head full of raven hair.

One thing Merlin had figured out by now, was that most of the people with black hair had magic. So it was not a good sign for Arthur that she had black hair.

The girl stirred. Catching a glimpse of her youthful face, Arthur gasped. She was beautiful. Maybe she's a siren or a lamia, Merlin thought to himself.

Once she sat up, the two could easily see her face. Arthur looked smitten, but Merlin just looked defeated. Not again, was the thought to go through Merlin's mind. Remembering the last time Arthur fell in love, the girl had been a banished faerie. (I think that's how it's spelled anyway.)

When she openings her eyes, Arthur looked awestruck. The Prince looked at Merlin, then back at the girl, and then back at Merlin.

"Merlin, are you sure you don't have a twin? Because she is the first person to have eyes anything like yours."

"I'm pretty sure I would know if I had a twin Arthur."

"Are you sure beca-"

"Yes, I am sure."

"Have you ever asked your mother if you have a twin?"

"No I haven't, but I'm pretty sure I don't have a twin! Let alone sibling!"

"Wel-"

Sighing the girl started, "guys shut up!"

The servant and his Prince looked up.

"Now that I've got your attention, I'll introduce myself. My name is Eshe, and I believe I have a twin who was taken away from out kingdom at a young age. The only reason I'm stuck in this stupid tower, is because someone predicted that I would be reunited with my twin in this tower. The question is, are you Emrys?" The girl named Eshe asked bluntly.

Looking down at his feet, Merlin didn't know how to answer.

"His name is Merlin. Not Emrys." Arthur answered for him.

"I'm not asking you Dallop head. I'm asking him," looking him up and down she continued, "you're another stuck up Prince here to save me I presume? News flash, I don't need saving. Me and the dragon are besties. I could get her to incinerate you right here, and right now if I wanted to. Luckily you have your friend here saving your hind end. So shut your pie hole. Now I'm going to ask Merlin a question. "After saying this, she looked over to Merlin and lost her cold tone. "What do the druids call you?"

Merlin looked back to his feet and murmered something uncomprehensible.

"Speak up, you look like a total turnip head right now," she insulted.

Merlin then spoke up, "yes, the druids do call me Emrys, but that's not my name. Merlin is."

"Coolio, now I can finally get out of this stupid tower." Eshe then walked to the window and screetched, "hey Nelybas, come on out!"

Suddenly one of the grassy hills came to life, and flew to the tower. A rather large, grass coloured dragon had flown over.

"Hey cutie! Wanna hear some good news? We can finally leave this wretched place!" Eshe shouted excitedly to the dragon.

Arthur looked like he was about to faint. He had thought he'd have to kill a dragon. Not watch a girl act like it was a puppy!

"Wait, which kingdom are you from?" Merlin asked, tilting his head in curiousity.

"Every heard of Silver valley?"

Now both Merlin and Arthur looked awestruck, but Merlin was the one to speak, "No way are we going back to there. Last time we went there, they almost found out that Arthur didn't have magic."

Realization lit up on Eshe's features, before they fell into a smirk. "So what you're telling me, is that 'The Great Emrys works for a Pendragon?" After seeing a nod from Merlin, she burst out laughing. "Our parents are going to have a die from cackling too hard! Heck, they might even fall off they're thrones laughing!" She'd ended up crying on the floor from laughing too hard.

Still chuckling, she mounted the dragon, and she called from on top of the dragon, "coming Emrys?

"Wait you want us to board that thing?" Arthur squeaked out in terror.

"Shut up prat," Merlin told Arthur before facing his... Twin, "no, we're not going to Silver Valley with you. We've just met you, and there's no reason we should trust you. We're not even sure if you're actually my twin."

"You have a birth mark shaped like a heart on your left butt cheek right? I've been told more embarrassing stuff, but I'll stop there. Now are you coming, or should I continue?" At Eshe's words, Merlin was blushing bright red. Arthur was snickering about Merlin's birthmark.

"I'm coming," was Merlin's quick reply.

The frail raven haired boy then proceeded to board the dragon the same way Esher had.

"Wait, Merlin what about me?" Arthur asked horrified.

"Come if you want, but if Eshe's really my sister, then I have to go. Although, you should probably head back to Camelot. Your father and Camelot need you. I'll be back whenever I can be Prat!"

"Al-alright. I guess I'll he-" before Arthur had finished, Merlin and Eshe were gone. Or is it Emrys and Esher?

So Arthur went home, and didn't see Merlin for a good four months. (Which was way too long to go Merlinless) There were a lot of assassination attempts during that time. Some were nearly successful.

When Merlin came back, he was a completely changed man. In fact, Arthur barely recognized him...

To possibly be continued...

Should I continue this? Because I'm not a big fan of this chapter. If people actually like this, I might continue it.
