I just love happy endings!

Summary: Merlin decides he wants to marry Rose. Happily ever after for everyone.

     Rose and Merlin had returned to Auradon amidst cheers and applause. The place looked so different now, as if it was untouched by the many disasters that had befallen it all those years ago.
     Once they had gotten past the people, Merlin took Rose aside for some privacy. He got down on one knee. "Rose, I love you. Will you marry me?"
     "Of course I will."

     They spent some time getting the kingdom all cleaned up until it became like Paradise on earth. After awhile, they went to the king who had regained his eyesight.
     He gave them his blessing. Soon after, they had a beautiful wedding and they invited everyone. Rose's entire kingdom was there, along with her father. All the Eternals came as well Merlin's mortal parents. Arthur, Kilgharrah, and several other people.
    

     They did indeed live happily.
     Sadly, a few weeks later, Rose's father passed. They mourned him then after Rose and Merlin were crowned as queen and king of Auradon.
     They ruled the kingdom with strength and compassion. Everyone loved them.
     Eventually, Arthur found love with Rose's former maid, Gwen. Arthur was no longer banished and continued to train many more heroes.
      About a year later, Merlin and Rose had children. They ended up having 12 sons and 7 daughters.
     Sadly, after their eldest son took the throne, Merlin's mortal parents passed. They mourned but were celebrated as heroes.
     When the time finally came for Rose and Merlin to go to sleep themselves, they were accepted into Paradise as Eternals.
     Merlin was finally able to be with his family but this time with the woman he loved by his side.
      And they lived happily ever after.
