Hi hi~! So, since Oda has revealed the sketches for some of Kid's crew, have you got any headcanons or random thoughts on them -esp mohican-? Mohawk still doesn't have a name and I'm low key crying :'(.

Oda has revealed 22 out of 31 characters, which leaves me room to keep some of the OCs I introduced in Captive, such as Booka, into the sequel. I'm grateful for that, but at the same time I wished we got all the crew members... especially the Mohican! 😫

Unfortunately he wasn't sketched nor mentioned, and Oda haven't drawn him at all since the timeskip... this is a little worrying. Anyway I do not have any more headcanons for him other than the ones I used to characterize him in my stories.

As for the rest of the crew, I'm in love with Bubblegum's design, so I'll probably focus on him in my next book.

Other headcanons I have relate mostly about Emma: I see her as trans and apathetic, a tinkerer quite like Kid.

I can't wait to write about the relationship between birdie and the other girls too!

Not a question! But I also find it kinda worrying that mohawk hasn't been seen...like, I wonder if Oda just dropped his design or if he maybe died vs Shanks' crew? Idk But I love how diverse Kid's crew looks! Literally just saw it the other day and am obsessed with them 😍 Personally, I also headcanon Quincy as trans no particular reason honesty just got Ivan vibes And Hip and Hop look so neat!

And actually, I lied, I have a question. Sorry 😅 If you're caught up on the manga, what're your theories for where Kid's character is headed? In my opinion, he's like a wildcard right now; but I can't picture him allying with Luffy nor betraying him so idek 🤷‍♀️

I'm worried for the same reason, I hope the Mohican makes a small background appearance at the Wano final party. 😭

I see that with Quincy! And I forgot to say before that I think Hop is gay... but I'm probably giving away too much. 😂

In short, I have no idea.

I can see Kid becoming a new Yonko, but I genuinely don't know if Oda has anything more planned for him. I kinda have doubts. Although he might have a role to play when Shanks becomes relevant to the story again, since they have a past.

I don't think Kid will form an alliance with Luffy or Law, he'll stay a rival for them. Actually, the very alliance between Luffy and Law should come to an end after Wano, since they reached their original goal.

I'm really curious (and worried) to see where this is going.

And also curious what was also your takes on kid and his crew(well mainly just killer cause his the only one with the most scenes) do you think they may come off as rival-allies after this with the straw hats? 

I think Oda did a great job for Killer. Ironically, better than with Kid. The Kamazo persona, the partner reveal, the smile, the Hawkins fight, all of these scenes aim to create a deep emotional connection to Killer.

We were also reminded several times that we shouldn't sleep on him. I wasn't expecting him to be part of the rooftop battle, for example. And then I was actually worried for him when he went against Hawkins, but boy, the way Killer outsmarted him and took him out so easily after that! He only took damage while blackmailed and he offered his life in exchange to Kid's without an ounce of hesitation.

I was a little disappointed that Toei never even gave Killer any space in the openings, especially now (I'm disappointed with the new opening in general, oh well).

Then we had the Kid Pirates reveal in the SBS! With some bits in the manga panels too. That was gold, I was waiting for it. I was pleasantly surprised to see several women in the crew. I wasn't really expecting for them to have any space in Onigashima, there were waaaay too many people there, and more important characters were kinda overlooked (Drake???).

Yeah, don't get me started on that. Even some SH didn't do much.

Anywho, I won't talk about the future for Kid and his crew for now as I already have a few posts below for another ask. But I will for sure expand onto it once we see how they leave things with Wano and Luffy. I'm still holding a little hope for a tiny flashback. 🤞🤞

I know you mentioned the idea in Captive but just out of curiosity what would happen if Killer attempted to launch himself off the ship into the water holding Kid like he did when they were younger? (Assuming he can even pick him up, but killers a strong guy he'll figure something out probably) 

I think Killer totally could by using the element of surprise! The thing is... I don't think he would now. First of all, Kid is a DF user, so it might be dangerous and Killer would never endanger his captain. Second of all, he doesn't seem they have that type of relationship anymore. Also, after Wano, Killer is technically a DF user too, so he can't do it anyway.

But if he did, I'm sure Kid would yell obscenities at him and punch him in the face. It would end up in a brawl. 😂

Random headcanon question! What kind of makeup do you think Kid wears? Like just lipstick or maybe eye makeup as well? I've been reading some fics on him and I've seen everything from just lipstick and nail polish, to highlighter 😂 Just curious on your thoughts! 

I think lipstick, nail polish and eyeliner are pretty much canon at this point. He probably uses mascara too, there's a close up of his eye in film Stampede and it totally looks like it. I'm honestly not big in make-up, so I would say that's it? It doesn't look he uses stuff like blush or eyeshadow to me.
