She's riding. He's flying.

She's shouting. He's replying.

She's smiling. He's blushing.

She's stopping. He's landing.

She's shooting. He's watching.

She's turning. He's unmoving.

She's approaching. He's gulping.

She's blinking. He's analysing.

She's whispering. He's inhaling.

She's kissing. He's nervous.

She's embarrassed. He's confused.

She's upset. He's defiant.

She's leaving. 

He's grasping her hand before she can get anywhere and now she's whipping round, confused and with tears in her eyes. 

She asks him why he didn't do anything. 

He replies that he didn't know what to do and he'd been shocked. 

She doesn't say anything. 

He continues and says that he's wanted her since he met her. 

She doesn't say anything.

He moves his hand up to feel her cheek and he's leaning in slowly, much slower than she can stand and his eyes are only half closed but hers are wide open and shocked.

She still doesn't say anything.

His lips meet hers gently.

She draws away.

He can't speak for fear he's going to get it wrong or say something that'll anger her and that's the last thing he wants because he loves her, he loves her more than he should and it hurts him so badly to see her standing there so solitary and upset and he doesn't understand what he did wrong because she kissed him before and isn't that what she wanted?

She blinks.

He apologises.

She catches his hand.

His eyes snap open.

She pulls him into an embrace and her arms are round his torso, her hands in his hair and his are limp by his sides until he registers the situation and he pulls her closer with a hand on her back and the leaves are falling and the sun is falling on the surface of the river running by and turning it golden and if he could only freeze this forever because they're not even joined at the lips but it feels like they're infinite and they can do anything because nothing will ever come between them because he will never let that happen.

A/N A quick drabble in a very different style with no particular plot as such. It didn't take any time at all and I really liked messing about with structure. Let me know if this went down well with you because then I'll continue to experiment.
