Exams
"Holy crap!" Hiccup panicked, papers falling out of his arms as he ran around frantically, trying to find his maths book. He had his exams the following day and he was stressed out to the absolute limit. "Where is the damn thing?"
"Probably in your bag, where you always leave it," Merida sighed, smiling to herself. They'd been going out for two years and she knew his tendencies to get stressed easily.
"What're you talking about?" Hiccup almost snapped, rifling through his rucksack, "of course it won't be there, I always put it on my -"
He stopped when he realised the book in his hand was his maths textbook. Merida looked at him with a smirk as if to say didn't I tell you? Hiccup stared at her angrily for a moment before opening it, with a lot more force than was necessary, to the page on circle theorems. He sat down on the sofa and Merida watched as he muttered them under his breath, his head in his hands and his book in his lap. She walked up behind him and cradled his head in her arms, her head resting on his shoulder before giving him a kiss on his cheek.
"Not now Mer -" he grumbled, "I've got to study."
"You're not going to get anything done if you're stressed," she said as she rubbed his shoulders, some of her hair falling in front of his eyes. He gave her a small grin and she smirked, climbing over the sofa arm and pulling at his shirt to kiss him. She felt him smile against her lips before he responded equally as happily, holding her waist and running his fingers through her hair. Her hand rubbed his chin and she broke away with a grin.
"You need to shave."
"That can wait," he pulled her back, back to his lips and she smiled. She never grew tired of Hiccup's kisses, sweet and soft, yet incredibly sexy and dominating at times. Merida liked a bit of that sometimes; she had to admit that he was ridiculously attractive when he decided to take control. It'd never last for long though - she wouldn't let him.
The book on circle theorems dropped to the floor. That could wait for another few minutes. Or hours...
A/N I'm trying to write more, but in shorter chunks now because home life's quite stressful. I'm also feeling less inclined to write because with every chapter there's less reads, votes and comments. It makes you really unmotivated, because what's the point of writing if no one reads it?
Could you please tell me in the comments if I should continue with this oneshots book or just leave it, because I feel like there's not many of you out there reading at all. Thanks to all who still do.
