Merida's P.O.V

Merida's phone rang as she ran through the messy house to it. She tripped, but still made it to the phone in record time.

"Hello?" She asked, out of breath.

"Merida! Lass! I didn't recognize your voice! You've almost lost yer acsent! U a American yet, lass?" Fergus exclaimed.

"Nice to hear from you too, Dad." Merida said, sarcasticly. "So. You still coming here for Christmas like you promised?"

"Oh, geeze, lass. Sorry. Not this year. We got a lota stuff here in Scotland 'n-" he started.

"So I'm gonna be alone for Christmas!?! U promised!" She yelled, her acsent thickening like it does when she's angry.

"There's my Scottish lass!" Fergus said nervously.

"Fine! I'll be alone! Merry Christmas Dad!" She yelled before slamming the phone back down on the receiver.

She sighed angerly, and got her stuff together for school. She went out to her car and drove to school.

Merida sat in her set, avoiding Rapunzel and Jack. The two were two of her best friends, but she wasn't in the mood for almost porn.

She was in the back and messed around with her pencil. She didn't look up to see who sat next to her.

"Hey Mer." Said a voice.

Merida looked up to see Hiccup sitting next to her, aka, her other best friend/crush. She barely acknowledged him.

"Well someone's grumpy. What happened this time?" He asked.

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "My family is leavinge alone for Christmas."

"They're staying in Scotland?!?" Hiccup asked in disbelief.

"Yup. Great family, right?" I asked sarcasticly.

He shook his head. Then class started.

I yawned on Christmas morning. I walked out into my living room. I looked at my sad looking tree. Under it, I had presents for Hic, Punzi, and Jack. I sighed.

Another Christmas alone.

I made myself some coffee, and I heard a knock at the door. I set my coffee down and went to open the door.

"SURPRISE!!!" Hiccup, Punzi, and Jack screamed when the door opened.

The three of them each held at last three boxes. They all wore Christmas sweaters and were bundled up because of the snow outside.

"What's all this?" I asked as they came into my house.

"You can't have Christmas without us, silly!" Punzi insisted.

I smiled. "Thanks guys."

Wrapper was all over the floor from opening presents. All my food had been consumed, because according to Jack, 'No person has any food left after Christmas.'

I walked down the hall to get dressed. I bumped into Hiccup, who had just left the bathroom. We both blushed and muttered apologizes.

Hiccup looked up and smiled.

"Look." He said. "Mistletoe."

I blushed the color of my hair. He grabbed my waist and pulled me in, still smiling. Our lips met, and I've never blushed so much in my life.

I wrapped my arms around him as the kiss depended. When we pulled away, I saw he was as red as me. We both blushed more as Jack and Punzi let out cheers and woops.

Hiccup chuckled. "Merry Christmas, Merida."

I smiled. "Merry Christmas."
