Hiccup's P.O.V

I sat in a chair in the airport. I looked down at my phone for the billonth time. 1:00. She should be here any second now.

Merida and I had graduated high school two years ago. Her family packed up and moved back to Scotland. We had stayed in contact, and we kepy dating, dispite her mom's wishes.

I applied to University of California and got expected. Little did I know, Merida applied too. We were thrilled when she was exepected. She packed up and got a plane ticket to LA. She is gonna stay with me.

But she isn't here yet. I double checked the arrival borad.

"Crap!" I thought. Her flight was delayed. Who knows when she'll get here!

I sat down and saw a text from Merida.

M: Flight got delayed. I'll be arriving late. Ugh. I miss u Hic.

H: Ik. Crap. I miss u 2 Mer.

I sighed. I guess I'd just have to wait.

It was 11:00 when I saw Merida's plane land. I rushed past many people and sprinted to the gate. Well, 'sprinted' with my prosthetic leg.

As soon as I got to the gate, A beautiful red head with sky blue eyes stepped out. Merida.

She saw me and smiled. She ran twords me and I opened my arms. We embraced and cried happy tears. I ran my hand through her hair.

"I missed you." She whispered, still crying into my chest.

I looked down at her and kissed her, full on the lips. It lasted a long time.

"I missed you too."
