Chapter #15

The way Ranbir had scare Gauri was giving her nightmares. Right now, after getting to know all this, Omkara had gone saying that he will be back after getting some food for her and she agreed. She sat on his bed, cuddling into his jacket and waited for him. It was past half an hour and he wasn't back yet. She decided to go to the kitchen to see what he was up to and just then Rudy came into the room hunting for om. She said that he wasn't here and Rudy left nodding. The moment she was gonna step out 5 mins after rudy left, Om came in and blocked her, "Where are you going?" he asked with a plate if cut apples in his hand. "You took 45 mins only to cut apples?" she asked and he stammered as he spoke, "Uhh.. I had gone to get food.. And I thought.. Then I didn't find anything.. Then.. Then ha.. I burnt the food.. Then I brought apples.." he said and sighed making her chuckle, "You're looking as if you just fought a war and came" she said looking at his hair which was all over the place and shirt a but dirty, "No.. Now come na.. Let's eat" he said and made her sit on the bed as he fed her.

Flashback :

He left the room saying that he has to get her food and before going gave her his jacket and left kissing her forehead. He immediately ran outside the house to Ranbir to get a hold at him. He went to the college fest and thank God there was no traffic. He reached withing 10 mins and bashed Ranbir up for dating to touch his Gauri. He left warning Ranbir and Ranbir just made a mental note for revenge on him and her. It was half an hour now and he just rushed back home and again reached within 10 mins. He ran to the kitchen cut 2 to 3 apples within 5 minutes and ran back to his room and made an excuse.

He made her lay down and made her sleep by patting her hairs and she had slept due to the weariness. He was hugging her with her almost on him cuddling more and more into him for warmth. He had made her change into his clothes. His t shirt and shorts and God! She looked heavenly. Her legs were carelessly thrown on his, and the skin were in contact. Just then, Anika knocked on the door and Om ran to her getting Gauri of him. "Oh yes Bhabi?" he said and she asked him about Gauri while he pointed towards his bed, "Bhabi.. Actually.. She was very tired so she passed out and I brought her here and made her sleep. You have any problem?" he said while she gave a slight smile, "No.. Let her sleep. Good night" she Sud and walked away while he sighed in relief and went and again slept beside her. The incident had a tragic effect on her. She used to get nightmares but slowly, because if om taking her out, cheering her up and doing what not, she had completely gone fine.

Todau was the day. It was the day he was gonna propose her. He had bought a heart shaped diamond ring with Kara written on it and matching it with a Ruby ring for himself with Om carved on it.

"Will you, Will you Gauri Trivedi.. Be my best friend, my support system, my girlfriend for life, my inspiration, my love, my heart, my jaan and my wife? Will you marry me?" he asked kneeling while she got tears in her eyes. "No Gauri.. You cannot.." she thought but somewhere inside, she wanted it. She kneeled down, hugged him and whispered, "Yes!! Yes a million times, till I die" she said while he just hugged her tighter. She reached home all in her laa laa land when she saw a few people sitting in the hall. There he was Ranbir.. But there were too other people with him who were not so young and then she heard her catching speak up, "Ajay beta.. Have something na.. Gauri will be here.. And don't worry, she will accept this marraige" she said and froze Gauri froze in her place.
