I know this is a bit short but I'm busy packing. 

Chapter #5

The man approached with slow steady steps as he took the knife more up and up onto the air so that the stab could be hard enough to kill her but his bad, that he hit the edge of the bed waking Om up and Om literally shot his eyes open and turned to find the creator of the sound when his eyes gell on the man who was trying to stab his wife.
He screamed, "Gauri!" but that resulted in the man stabbing her as soon as possible but before he could run, Om caught him and screamed, "Doctor" and fought with the man until the police came and got him while Gauri was rushed for treatment. The moment the police came, Om saw the guy's face and it was none other than Gauri's biggest nightmare, Ajay.

Om rushed towards the treatment room where Gauri was there and peeped from the small window to see the doctors bandaging her stomach. Bhavya came there just then.
"Bhaiya, you're ok?"
"Ya.. But Gauri's not"
"Bhaiya she'll be fine.. And now that we've caught Ajay, she'll be fine"
"I don't know bhavya.. Can you plz tell Rudy to come here?"
"Sure.. But plz bhaiya.. Don't lose hope ok? She'll come back.. She'll fight even from death for you. What you both have is true love bhaiya and I'm sure that true love always wins"
She hugged him before she went and Om just sat outside the room waiting for her.
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.. I'm sorry Gauri"
"Om?"
He saw up and saw Rudy standing there. "How did u come so fast?"
"Bhavya called me a long time back so I came"
"Rudy.. I couldn't lose her.. She's my lucky charm, my love and my life.. I really can't lose her"
"Om.. Remember who you are.. Remember om.. You were the one who consoled me when papa died, You have kept the family together till today while managing your personal problems na? You can't lose today.. You have to stay strong.. At least for bhabi and agar aap aise hi rote rahe then who will I catch romancing with bhabi huh?"
Om laughed as he hugged and kissed rudy on the cheeks. "Thank you Rudy"

Gauri was shifted to her ward but still not awake. The stab was hard and she was also under anesthesia. More over, her body needed rest and relaxation. Om went in and just sat there beside her, keeping courage and just like that, looking at her, he slept and Rudy who came there, took him to the sofa, made him sleep there and covered him with a blanket.

The next morning, Gauri fluttered open her eyes with a lot of pain and saw Om sitting there. "H-ub-by" she called in weakness and Om opened his eyes to see her awake.
"You need something?"
She nodded and he made her sit up a bit and removed the oxygen mask from her face and fed her some water.
"Who was it?" she asked and he just hugged her with tears in his eyes.
"No one.. I almost lost you jaan.. Let me hug you.. Let's discuss this later"
"Hmm" she said while Ruvya entered along with Dadi only to see Rikara hugging while closing their eyes completely lost.. Giving each other the assurance that Gauri is fine and Om isn't guilty.

"Puttar?" Dadi said but both of them didn't respond instead the just kept on crying.
"Om? Om.. Listen.. Om" Rudy tried to say but all in avail. The two souls were communicating and it was impossible now to break their tie.
Bhavya went and shaked om a bit. "Om bhaiya?" she said when finally he pulled out of the hug.

"Oh.. I'm sorry.. I.. "
" It's ok om.. No need to give explanation.. I know how it feels when you lose or when you're going to lose someone dear and.. You just need a hug"
"Thanks Rudy.. For understanding me" Om said moving towards his brother and just hugged him.
"It wasn't possible if you wouldn't have consoled me Rudy"
"Haha.. I'm not so great"
He smacked his head, "Gadhe"

Gauri was discharged in a few days and went home only to meet Anika there and Anika was about to hug her when Priyanka came in between.
"You want to hug my bhabi?"
"Pri..."
"Don't" she said fully drunk while Gauri just stood there with the support of her husband.
"Chalo Gauri" he said and took her towards the room and she agreed bcoz of the fight that had occurred in the hospital a few days ago.
