The sky was a pale blue with few clouds to be seen, resting in the middle was an abnormal looking moon. A large building which looked like a school stood beyond the heavily guarded walls which surrounded it. The trees are lush and green giving off a feeling of being well-kept and maintained.

The light shined brightly on Merem's eyelids as she laid defenseless in front of the gate.

"Mmmm.... I-... Mother will not let me eat if I'm late to breakfast.." I muttered underneath my breath. 'oh why is it so bright in my room and why is my bed so hard?' Whining I turned around.

I suck in my breath and sat up and looked around blearily. "Oh no! I'm late!" My stomach grumbles in hunger at not being fed last night. The feeling of a solid ground cleared my mind.

My eyes open in surprise, wide awake now and more conscious to my surrounding. 'Where am I? That sign says Gakuen Alice like my favorite manga?  What a coincidence. Was I kidnapped? Does mother know?' She thought worriedly knowing her mother would order the nanny to give her a few spanks as punishment.

I get up and see a man driving a van nearby, it felt incredibly shady, but I ignored the feeling in hopes of getting more information on my situation. He notices me and decides to get out of his van to walk over. Once he's nearby I ask him a question.

"E-excuse me do you know where I am?" I asked in a quiet voice. Years of pain and torture  prevented me from talking any more in front of strangers than I had to. After all, mother said it was rude for young ladies to talk as much and was considered to be poor manners.

The man looked the little girl from head to toe. 'What a catch! This child is gorgeous! She must be worth a lot to be able to afford to go to this school even if her clothes look old and nasty. I'll be lucky if she has a useful alice. I'll earn a lot by selling her to the market.' He thought wickedly, but on the surface he put out a calm smile.

"Young lady what are you doing outside? Come with me I can help you get back in." He grabbed her wrist pulling her into her van.

A cold feeling went up my arm, something was definitely wrong.

"Please! Please let go!" I shouted before he covered my mouth. "Mmm!!" I twisted and turned but I couldn't escape from his grasp. I began to cry, wishing for him to pass out. All of a sudden I felt something exit my body and attack the man. The next thing I knew the man went limpid as though he were dead.

"Well, it seems like I had no reason to need to interfere.." A brown haired man came out of hiding behind a tree. My eyes went wide in a comical way. 'Whatttttt? Was he here the entire time?'

"My name is Misaki, I am one of the teachers of Alice Academy. If you don't mind me doing this, I promise it will not hurt.' He said before chopping the back of my neck. I felt myself losing consciousness.

'I've never seen that type of Alice before. I need to report it to the principal.' Misaki thought before ordering the gates to open, while carrying Merem's unconscious body in to the school premises.

Before her consciousness faded away completely her mind replayed what the man said earlier, "Misaki.. A teacher at Alice Academy?"

And then everything went black.
