It was a weird feeling...teleportation. One moment I was standing in front of Natsume and Youichi-Kun, and the next moment I'm in a completely different place.

I hurl up the remaining contents from my stomach onto the ground before me. I couldn't breathe.

'What's happening?' I questioned myself, 'Did I push myself too hard?'

"Get up. You still have work to do." A cold sinister voice commanded. Persona, my mind whispered.

'I can't afford to let him see me being weak, who knows what could happen.' I forced myself to get up, but the queasiness still remained. I avoided the puddle of throw up on the ground.

"Sir," I forced myself to say through gritted teeth.

I glared at him, my eyes blazing in anger. His slight smirk only served to make me angrier.

"Your Alice is so much more useful, it makes me question why the school hasn't found out about you earlier. Too bad you're extremely uncooperative, that attitude for starters..." His voice deepened, "It would be such a shame if a student in my class were to...disappear... because of your willfulness." His eyes curved into a crescent moon shape.

My face paled at the obvious threat, and I lowered my eyes in defeat. Fear coursed through my body, and I could feel sweat drip down my forehead.

'I can't let this man do anything to those people, they're children just like me...'

"I'm joking." Persona shrugged his shoulders in nonchalance.

I finally noticed my surroundings, "Why are we in the forest?" I questioned.

"No. Look again."

I squinted my eyes, and I could see a faint mist hovering in front of me.

"That... young lady is an Alice user using their Alice!" I couldn't comprehend how Persona managed to sound so excited despite his poker face.

His eyes looked scheming, and I could feel a shiver go down my spine.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked hesitantly. In reality I was deathly afraid... what if he made me to some sort of heinous crime.

"I'm glad to see you putting away that brave front Merem-Chan." His black eyes centered onto me. I gulped in fear.

"Boss, the people inside have found us out. They are now trying to escape."

Persona's face remained unchanging.

"Let them run, they won't be able to escape anyway. Merem, it's time to put your Alice to use."

"They found us, quick take the kids and hide! I'll try to stall them." A big man called out to his wife.

The children sitting at the dining table froze in fear, their mother quickly stopped cooking.

"How?" She could only gasp out, "How could they still find us?"

One of the children began to shake.

"Mom... I went outside yesterday to go play..."

The mom fell to her knees in utter sadness. "You left the barrier your father created?"

"Mom I'm sorry!" The girl cried out, "I knew he went out but I didn't stop him..."

They watched their mother in fear of her reaction. She sighed.

"Okay kids, follow me." She said in renewed vigor, "I won't let them take you all away without a fight."

She grabbed her youngest child and told the others to follow her. They quickly abandoned their table and trailed after her.

Bangs and booms could be heard behind them.

"Hurry!"

They went to the basement and hid in a special room designed for situations like this.

When the door shut and locked they all huddled together in fear. And the mother could only pray for the safety of her husband.

The banging and booms only got louder until the suddenly stopped.

She knew that her husband had lost against these people, and began to cry. Her children saw this and couldn't help but cry together with her.

The door to the secret room opened with a boom, and a man wearing all black came in to scan the situation.

"Three children and one female adult. Woman seems to be normal, children can be detected to have Grade A alice powers."

"Grab them." A voice responded in the mic.

More men came and grabbed the children.

"Stop! Don't take my children please!" She cried out.

They ignored her cries, and knocked her down when she tried to chase after her children.

"One adult male dead." At that report she lost all the feeling in her legs.

"...Dead?"  She could only mutter out.

"Was that supposed to be a fight? He was so weak."

"Dear..." More tears dropped down her face and she lost all her composure.

"You monsters! Monsters! I hope you get what's coming to you! One day I'll get my revenge!"

"Yeah lady. Whatever you say." One guard replied back.

They left her to wallow in her grief. She didn't know how long she stayed there, she had lost everything in a span of day. Her youngest was so young, if he were to be released he may not even remember her.

It was then that a young girl walked in. She had big blue eyes and brown curly hair. The same age as her oldest son she recalled.

"They sent me in to clean up the mess." Her eyes were void of any expression.

The woman realized what the girl meant. 'Even if I wanted to wait for them to leave that place, they won't even let me live. I'm so sorry, Jon... I couldn't protect our children.' She opened her mouth to say something, but the girl shut her up.

"Your husband isn't dead," the young girl whispered, "I just sent him away somewhere safe, and I could do the same to you as well."

The woman could only open her mouth in astonishment. She was afraid to speak.

"I wished for the others to not be able to hear us. That's my Alice. The wish Alice." The young girl said.

The woman immediately got up and grabbed the young girl's hand. "My children? Will they be safe?!"

She waited for the child to reply.

"I can't be entirely too sure about that, as it is too early. I can't make any promises as of right now, but I need to send you to the same place as your husband."

The girl lifted her arm, and the woman could see blood dripping from it.

"You're bleeding?!"

"It's fine ma'am. Your husband was stronger than the others thought... I used a lot of strength in my Alice to protect us."

'Then those men were lying. Do they not know about this?' The woman thoughts

"Why are you telling me this? Why would you help them take my family away if you plan on helping me now?"

"I'm being blackmailed, I am only a small person in this large world. There isn't a lot I can do to fight against these people." The girl could only say, "Hurry. They might come in if we take too long. I'm sure your children would like to know both parents are alive, but to avoid any secrets being spilled I will not tell any of them."

"Finished?" Persona said to Merem.

"...yeah." Merem could only say solemnly.

"Great work. I expect to see this efficiency again tomorrow." He gleefully answered back.

"Monster!" The oldest boy spat at Merem. Tears streamed down his face. "You killed my mother! I will get my revenge on everyone here!" He said attempting to use his Alice.

"Luckily I was prepared and had extra Alice inhibitors for these children. They're grade A warriors, and will be the best spies. I think you may be able to rank up in importance Merem-Chan. Place these on them, and lets head back."

Merem could only grab the items from Persona and clip in onto each person with difficulty. Her face was stuck in guilt, and she used her skill again to teleport them back.
