"That's it? Natsume burnt your beautiful dresses, and that's all you want in return?" Mikan looked at Merem in shock.

"Yes," Merem looks at the ground covered in ashes in resignation. "Would you mind helping me clean before you go?"

"No need! Just stay put and relax, okay? We'll take care of the mess." Iinchou said straightforwardly.

She watched as the others walked to the pile of ash and began to clean up. Even Natsume was helping out, his face full of conflicting emotions. Hotaru had taken out one of her inventions made to clean up messes, and began to control it with her remote control. Her face impassive the entire time.

I began to think about the dresses once again...It's fine... I can just make new ones.

She goes to her navy-blue starred bag, and opened it before reaching in.

Sigh...There's nothing in here. It's Friday tomorrow, I guess I'll use the money I received when I first got here to buy some more cloth. I should pamper myself after holing myself up in my room. All of this sewing took up so much of my time I haven't even spoken to my classmates. I though it belatedly.

She turned around to glance at them shyly, before speaking in a quiet raspy voice—which she gained from crying so hard, "Um... Would you all mind accompanying me to the central town tomorrow morning?"

Everyone looked up, the faces covered in soot, at the sight, Merem hid her face behind her hand, finding that they looked ridiculous. The only exceptions to the messy face were Natsume, Hotaru, and Ruka.

Yes, she was sad that the dresses she worked so hard to make were gone, but hanging out with her favorite characters negate all of the negative feelings she felt from earlier.

"Sure, what do you plan on buying Merem-San?" Iinchou asked her.

"I need to buy some new materials, I happened to run out..." She rubbed her eye, and felt it was swollen. Was I really crying that hard?

"Sure," Hotaru spoke up after a bit of thought. "If going to central town and the modeling will get rid of the terrible feeling I have right at this moment, then I'm willing to do it free of charge."

Mikan gaped at Hotaru, surprised she had said that to Merem.

Merem smiled.

"Alright, let's meet up after class ends tomorrow morning." She looked out the window of her room and noticed that it was getting darker outside.

"Oh no! I can't have guests continue to stay in my room without permission, Takahashi-San will berate us all, and we don't want that now do we?" I said, a smile painted on my face.

I pushed them all out of my room, before saying another good bye, and a reminder for tomorrow's plans.

Slam

I could hear Mikan speak albeit the sound was muffled, "I wonder if Merem is still angry with us."

Thwack

"Ouch, Hotaru what was that for?"

The hit sounded really painful.

"This is all because you caused us to misunderstand the situation, that such a huge mess occurred." Hotaru said in agitation. Her impassive facade breaking after leaving Merem's room.

Iinchou stood still, watching the scene pan out. He sweat-dropped. Imai-San is really good at hiding her emotions...Though I do agree that Mikan's reaction sounded over the top.

He looked at the other two people with them, I'm surprised that Natsume-Kun, and Ruka-Kun decided to come together with us. I thought they didn't care about the Merem-San...

His thoughts were interrupted by Mikan.

"Hehe... gomen... but-" Mikan said abruptly, "We have a chance to fix our mistakes tomorrow. Let's go guys!"

The shuffling sounds behind the door finally disappeared leaving Merem who was eavesdropping through the door to walk back to her bed and collapse.

This day was way more hectic than I expected. Hopefully, I can finish the dresses much faster this time with some help.

She decided to lay in bed a little longer before falling in a deep sleep. The days event caught up to her much faster than she anticipated, Darn it... I didn't wash up and brush my teeth yet. I'll try to do that tomorrow.

As she was still dressed in her uniform.

Oh I'm so filthy... I have to clean up tomorrow...

The night passed by uneventfully for Merem.

She was so excited to go to Central town for the first time that she had woken up early and had been unable to go back to sleep.

Humming to herself she got off from her bed and went to her mirror, her curly brown hair had gotten a bit messy and when she tried to run her hands through it, it just ended up getting caught.

The pain made her eyes tear up.

I should also buy a comb...and continued to groom herself until she thought she looked as presentable as she could.

She walked out of her room, and bumped into Natsume from across the Hallway.

"Good Morning, Natsume-San."

He looked at her before turning his head and continued to walk towards the dining area.

"Do you mind if I walk together with you?" She said catching up to him.

I can't make friends if I'm always acting meek, I'll take this opportunity to befriend him. She determinedly thought to herself.

Natsume ended up not saying anything in return, but he didn't speed up his pace which Merem took as him agreeing with her suggestion. And they walked to the dining room.

As she made to sit in a random seat, Natsume spoke up.

"What are you doing?"

Merem looked at him innocently, before tilting her head in confusion.

"Five Star Alices sit over there, he pointed towards the direction using his head before walking in that same direction."

Merem gaped before she quickly pulled herself out of the seat, following Natsume quickly. The table was much more spacious than the table she had been sitting at priorly. She looked at Natsume in thankfulness, before Takahashi-San placed the food in front of her.

She ate slowly and carefully, before feeling full. Unfortunately, there were three more layers to the boxed-breakfast Takahashi-San had given her. She looked around guiltily before spotting Mikan on the other end of the table eating her small meal, looking as though she were savoring each and every flavor. She asked Takahashi-San if it were possible if Takahashi-San could give the rest of her lunch to Mikan, and received an affirmative.

She watched as Takahashi-San placed the three layered-Boxed lunch in front of Mikan, with Mikan looking around in confusion before making eye contact with Merem. Merem smiled and waved, before heading out of the lunchroom.

The action did not go unnoticed by the other students sitting at the table, and they began to murmur, Merem was unaware of all of this happening and had left the area to head to her class.

The classes passed by quickly and soon it was time for Merem and the others to go to central town. She had literally been vibrating from all the excitement she had been feeling.

"Okay children! Meet me here at 4 p.m. sharp, and please make sure any other students aren't lost!" Narumi-Sensei said loudly before walking away to check out some of the new items.

Merem watched him before turning to the group near her, which consisted of Ruka, Natsume, Mikan, Hotaru and Iinchou.

Thanking them once again for agreeing to her selfish requests.

"It's fine! We agreed to you requests-" Iinchou said.

Merem looked at him with her giant eyes, before grinning widely, and grabbed his arm pulling him with her to the store where Narumi-Sensei had bought the clothes he gave her earlier.

She made sure to ask before they boarded the bus this morning.

The others followed the two before entering the little boutique. They looked around a bit before spotting Merem in the back looking at the different cloths. She kept grabbing a piece, holding it up to Iinchou before deciding it wasn't good, and putting it back.

In her arm were various other colors, red, blue, purple, and pink. All had different designs on it, which Mikan thought was weird because it wasn't the same shade as the dresses she had in her room.

She noticed Mikan's stare before showing her the rest of the cloths, this time all neutral colors were in the navy-blue starred bag that Narumi-Sensei had given her.

Everyone couldn't help but think Merem was a bit frightening at how quick she had gotten the items she needed, and it had only been a minute or so that they had been here.

Merem immediately paid for the clothes, 350 rabbits in total for 7 rolls of cloth, which meant 50 rabbits each. All of which were good quality, and were beautiful in their own way. This time she made sure to check if the cloth were also Alice and nature resistant, learning from the unfortunate incident she was forced to go through just yesterday.

"Okay, that just leaves me with 150 rabbits left to buy whatever I want." She muttered to herself. She placed the money back into her pink pouch before leaving the store, the others followed after quietly, as they didn't know what they could do to help.

Merem seemed to know where everything was despite it only being her first time in center town. Hotaru narrowed her eyes in suspicion, but didn't say anything in the end.

Merem walked into a random store that caught her eye. Before noticing some nail polish.

"These are special nail-polishes that design themselves based on the wearer." The shopkeeper told Merem, "Buy them and receive five prototype hair clips for free."

"How much do they cost and could I see the hair clips first?" Merem asked cautiously. And why did he say prototype?

The shopkeeper showed Merem the clips and she immediately fell in love.

"140 rabbits!" He said, knowing he caught another buyer.

"Umm... Merem-San," Ruka piped up quietly.

"I'll take them!" She said excitedly.

"Nice making a deal with ya, pipsqueak!" He laughed heartily, "Watch out for those clips, it'll give ya a surprise all right! My daughter made them all by herself!"

"Thank you for the heads up," Merem said before bowing and leaving the store.

She looked at the remainder of the money she had left. 10 rabbits, huh... Oh yes! I remember in the manga that Mikan had bought some fluffy Howalon! It looked so delicious, I wanted to eat it too!

"Do you guys know where I could get something to eat for 10 rabbits?" She laid out, as it would be weird if she suddenly knew where to buy things. I've already been acting suspicious, but I couldn't help myself because I wanted to get things done and over with, Hotaru-Chan and Natsume-Kun are smart they'll end up finding out my secret.

"Oh! You can buy the smallest box of Howalon for that price, Merem-Chan!" Mikan said in a boastful stance, to show her experience over the item.

"Follow me!"

The line they walked up to was extremely long, but the wait time was nearly non-existent.

"Wait here guys," Merem said to them.

They stood around, wandering a little bit before coming back to the area. After 30 minutes Merem returned with a box of Howalon, and opened it. She grabbed a piece and gave one to everybody, before eating one herself.

"Mikan hadn't been lying. It tastes amazing!" She hummed in happiness, the others looked at her in surprise before eating it as well. Mikan cried in happiness and thanked Merem, as did Iinchou. The others nodded their thanks.

Soon, it was time to leave, and Merem gripped the sash of her navy-blue starred bag before getting back on the bus.

"I'll have to trouble you again to staying over at my place for a couple of days so I can finish the dresses..." She told them with puppy-dog eyes.

They all stayed quiet before nodding their heads, they didn't have a right to say no, and they could tell the dresses took a long time to make as well.

"You guys should bring some pajamas, since you're going to stay over."

"Oh!!! This is like a slumber party." Mikan said excitedly, "I can't wait."

Ruka blushed deeply as the thought of sharing a room with girls made him feel self-conscious but he convinced himself that it would only be for a few days, and everything would go back to normal.

Natsume looked at Merem, but ended up turning away to look out the window in thought.

Hotaru continued showing an impassive face.

Iinchou just stared at Merem before looking at his hands shyly. Sharing rooms with the others, sounds fun. He thought kindly.

The bus stopped, and everyone got off.

"I'll see you guys at 7 p.m. then!" Merem said waving at them before heading to her room.
