The school bells blazed ...

Students became worried. Preschoolers cried in distress.

All the teachers knew the truth. A powerful Alice ability had just entered the school. Not didn't know whether or not the being was dangerous they had to evacuate the children.

"Yamada! Fukutan! Evacuate the students. Tell every high schooler to do roll call and help the children. Narumi and I are heading to the source!" Jinno-Sensei said out loud.

"Got it!"

"I wonder what's happening?"

"Is there a threat?"

"I'm scared..."

"Shh it's ok."

Conversations were happening left and right. No one knew what exactly was going on. Not even the teachers.

Mikan was the first to wake up from whatever had happened earlier. She patted her body to check if every part was still there. Looking around her the area they were in was at SCHOOL! She quickly glanced around her and saw the unconscious bodies of her friends.

"Natsume, Hotaru, Ruka, Permy, Merem!" She said it worry, "Get up!" Remembering that the others had just been paralyzed she made sure not to move them too much.

"Be quiet, you're hurting my ears!"

"Permy!"

Everyone was now up. Everyone except Merem.

Footsteps could be heard running through the halls.

"Jinno-Sensei, Narumi-Sensei!" Mikan yelled out.

Jinno looked at the situation in front of him, "What in the world?"

"Merem's not waking up please help her!"

"Narumi take Merem to the infirmary, ask for Subaru Imai. His healing Alice might help her. As for the rest of you." He sighed, "You need to give me a big explanation."

When Merem woke up again it was to the sight of someone who looked like Hotaru... her brother?

"She's awake Narumi-Sensei." He said.

Merem looked at Narumi groggily. Even though she was awake she couldn't understand what they were saying. The words that came out of their mouth sounded like gibberish.

"She's out of it. Maybe it has to do with her body constitution. It's the same as Natsume's."

"You mean... everytime she uses her Alice she loses a portion of her life?"

"Yes, I'm not even sure how she was still alive. Whatever she did took out a big part of her. We might need to get Akira-San to give use his amplification Alice on her to prevent her from going into the danger zone again."

"Right, I'll get him right now."

Merem closed her eyes. The next time she opened them, the teen that had been healing her had disappeared. And another teen with long hair had appeared next to her. Narumi-Sensei was also in the room together with her.

"Hello Merem-Chan, I'm here because Imai-San said you were in desperate condition, and it seems like it's true" He muttered the other part quietly. "I'm here to amplify your Alice to prevent you from-" He paused on the word, it might scare the little girl.

"Anyways do you know how to make an Alice stone?" He askers the fragile girl in front of him.

Merem knew. Of course she knew, she read this part of the story multiple times. Merem closed her eyes and tried to reach down into her. She felt something that seemed to be calling out to her and pulled it out. In her hand was an Alice stone.

Tono had never seen someone get it so fast without an explanation, but from what he heard the girl was a genius. It wasn't that big of a surprise.

"Ok, give it to me." Tonō took the stone and put it in his pocket. "Since your body is still injured, Imai-San will come a few more times to heal you. If I amplify your power your body might not be able to handle it since it's used to the little you have at the moment. I'll be back, I'll let you have a chat with Narumi-Sensei."

Merem looked at the blond curly haired man that had been staring at her quietly at the back.

"Merem-Chan... I am so sorry you had to experience this."

Merem looked down. Her big blue eyes revealed no fear. Narumi thought the poor child was still afraid.

"Narumi-Sensei, once I get better... Once Tonō-Sempai amplifys my alice. I'm wishing myself back home. And there is no way you can stop me." She said quietly.

Narumi had little chance to digest and question Merem before he was called by another teacher to help them set up the decorations for the dance.

Merem was alone in the infirmary. She had decided that she would attempt to use her Alice to go home, and if it failed to work, she would stay in the world of Gakuen Alice.

Students were hustling and bustling around the campus, it was time to start decorating for the school dance!

All the girls were excited and many were already fighting over who they would dance with.

Merem heard all the news mostly from Mikan when she came to visit her in the infirmary with Hotaru and Iinchou in tow. She also heard that they went to use her dresses on their mission to rescue her and Permy decided to keep the dress for herself.

Merem laughed and said it was fine.

Tonō-Sempai said that she had recovered enough that she could also attend the dance, but not so recovered that he could amplify her Alice.

Since she was leaving she might as well have some more fun before she left. So she agreed.

She told this to Natsume, who had recently been visiting her. In her surprise, with Ruka in tow as well.

"What are you going to do about the dance Merem?" Natsume asked.

Ahh~ he was already used to calling me by my name so causally. Just earlier he was like a prickly rock. She glanced at Ruka who stared at her curiously as well.

"I'll just attend it like any normal student, why?"

"Something in my gut tells me that you won't be here anymore." Natsume stated seriously.

Ruka looked at Natsume in confusion.

Merem pretended to not understand before giving in.

Sigh

"I'm planning on wishing myself back home." Where? She wasn't sure.

Ruka opened his mouth, "You can go home, by being a top student and studying hard you could win a ticket home." He remembered that Merem had a mother and an older brother, and that she ran away from them.

"You sound like we'll never see each other again."

"We won't. After this dance... I'm leaving."

"How?"

"Using my alice of course."

"But your condition is the same as Natsume's you might pass out or even worse die." Ruka said in worry.

'Back in my place we had no alice abilities so I'm sure I'll be fine.'

"Don't tell Mikan or the others ok?"

"Why?" Natsume spoke up. "That wouldn't be fair to them. Be straight with your thoughts. It'll hurt them more if you suddenly disappear without them knowing."

Merem blinked at the wise words.

"Alright then I'll tell them after the dance."

The hallways and dining hall were filled to the brim with decoration. It really stunned Merem's eyes to see it in real life and not in the manga. The food looked delicious. She was told that after the dance the school would fire up a bonfire, and the students would dance around it with the partner of their choosing.

"Merem! Join look at us! Don't we look cute?" Mikan said in her white dress as she twirled around.

"Wow~ you guys look like real princesses..." Merem's eyes shone.

"You too Merem! You're very pretty, I'm sure theres a line of boys waiting to dance with you!" Mikan said happily.

Merem giggled at the thought.

She waved goodbye and headed to the food table as she was eating a random boy walked up to her.

"M-May I have this dance?"

Merem glanced up and smiled.

"Yes you may."

Some of the boy's friends hooted and whistled. While others looked dumbfounded.

Merem agreed she had a lot of fun during that dance. She looked into the boy's eyes, and looked down. He was much more handsome than she had thought, her face began to heat up. He didn't look that much older than her, so she felt even more shy.

"Will you dance with me during the bonfire?" He asked her.

Her eyes shined, and she quietly agreed.

In the background Mikan could only gape in shock when she watched Merem dance with a random boy. She couldn't wait to tell the others after they were done dancing.

Time passed and it was time to dance around the bonfire. Merem was a bit apprehensive as she didn't think the boy remembered about her, but when she looked up he was there in front of her.

He reached out his hand and they once again danced.

The girls who were waiting to dance with him all left in despair. It seemed their prince decided to dance with her. Maybe they would even become a couple in the near future...

Merem enjoyed every last minute of it.

It was time. The dance was over she could only tell the truth to the rest of her friends, including Sumire, she never would've expected becoming friends with Sumire. They had their differences earlier, but when Sumire came to apologize one day she immediately forgave her and they became closer than they were before.

She was back in the infirmary. And Tonō-Senpai had just told her that she was well enough to have her Alice amplified.

All her friends were around her because she had asked Natsume after the dance to bring everyone. She had told everyone, especially Tonō-Sempai about her plans. At first there was a lot of crying, she glanced at Mikan who's eyes were puffy, maybe some were still crying. But they had all agreed, Narumi was the only teacher she had told, she didn't dare to tell anybody else. All her plans for her life in Gakuen Alice may come to a halt.

"You ready Merem? Remember my amplification Alice will make your Alice twice as strong as it had been originally," Tonō-Sempai asked the child in front of him.

"Yes, I am." She answered seriously.

He began, placing the Alice stone into Merem's hands and then using his Alice.

Time seemed to stop, and her mind was clear. She began to wish.

She wished that the children she had separated from their parents would receive the letter that their parents had sent which told them they were safe and fine, and their location if they ever wanted to find them after graduating.

Then she wished to be sent back to her home in her world.

Everyone noticed how the place where Merem had laid in was now empty.

Merem opened her eyes, she didn't know when she had shut them to begin with.

What awaited her was her room. Next to her laid her favorite manga "Gakuen Alice."

She immediately ran out of her room and to the dining hall. Where she found her mother. At the noise her mother turns around, her face was wet and there was no makeup on it either. Her eyes widened at the sight of Merem.

Merem took this chance to admit everything's she's done wrong, and waited for the slap.

The bowl that had been in her mother's hand had dropped to the ground causing a loud crash. Feet ran from the other room and a male gasp could be heard, Merem turned around to see her older brother.

"Merem... is that you?" He asked, his voice deeper than she remembered.

"Brother..." Tears welled up in her eyes, before she could take a step in his direction. She was suddenly engulfed in a warm hug by her mother.

"Merem I am so sorry. I was a bad mother. I thought you would never come home." She bawled.

Her brother began to sniffle too surprised as she had never seen her mother and brother act this way Merem lifted an arm up to signal him to join the hug.

"Tomorrow you have to tell me where you've been." Her mother said, and Merem could only flinch at the words.

As Merem was getting tucked into bed she noticed the manga next to her and decided to flip through it again.

Noticing that there were more chapters that she had never seen there before she decide to check it out. On the last few pages it read.

"GOODBYE MEREM!"

She shed happy tears.

"Bye guys..."
