They all headed to the auditorium and sat down in a circle. Neil waited for avni to sit and as soon as she sat he immediately settled down beside her. She ignored him and got busy in listening to others while neil looked at her dreamily supporting his hands over his knee.

Ali: so we have to divide as a team to compete the work. First of all who is experienced in making banners?

All kept silent cos no one had experience to make it. Ananya looked at everyone and think over.

Avni: I can make it but I want someone for help

Neil: I am here na I will help you

Avni: no tumhari help toh bilkul nahi chahiye

Neil made puppy face and looked at ali. He assured him through his eyes.

Ali: Ananya neil is perfect for this work beside you are new so whatever you want or need he will help you in getting it. Please don't say no

She looked at neil who was already looking at her grinning innocently. She Sighed.

Ananya: thik hai but isse boldo koi problem create na kare aur mujhse faltu ki baatein na kare

Ali: done he won't I promise

She nodded and neil was doing happy dance in mind. Everyone got divided into teams of two to compete the work. Neil and Ananya were going to one of the store up rooms to collect some necessary materials.

Neil got some materials out for her and she scrutinised everything.

Avni: we need to get colours its almost finished

Neil: okay

Avni: and white full size papers also

Neil: hmm let's go now then

Avni: why me? Its your work to provide everything to me

Neil: yeah but it will be better if you come so that you can get the things you need for this because its your work not mine

Avni: okay

She advanced ahead while he followed her doing some crazy dance steps. Not finding him beside her she turned around and he stopped dancing and stood there grinning. She shook her head and went while he ran after her catching up her steps.

They both came to the parking lot and neil started his bike. Avni sat behind him and he drove to the stationary shop.

Neil: tell me something about you

He said glancing at her through mirror and she glared at him.

Avni: maine kaha tha tum faltu ki baatein nahi karoge

Neil: faltu ki baatein kaha kar raha hu yaar I want to know about you more that's it

Avni: I am not interested in telling you now keep quiet

Neil: sorry I can't keep quiet and yeah please stay away from that arhan. He ain't that what he shows to others

Avni: and why should I listen to you?

Neil: because I know him better than you 

She didn't argue much and kept silent thinking about it. After sometime they reached to the stationary shop and bought some necessary materials.

They stood at the cashier counter and neil bought some chocolates. Seeing it avni's lips curved with a beautiful smile. Neil noticed it and smiled widely.

Avneil came out and neil handed her chocolates. Avni looked at it then at him and shook her head.

Neil: I bought it for you, take it

She was hesitant but took it and smiled softly. They again started their journey towards college. Avni couldn't control more and rip the wrapper off and started munching on closing her eyes. Neil watched her and chuckled seeing her childish side. She is more better when she behaves like this neil thought.

By the time they reached college avni's lips and hands were smeared with chocolate. Neil chuckled looking at her and shook his head. He helped her in taking off some bags from her hand.

Neil noticed some chocolate smeared on her cheek. He leaned to her face kissing her cheek and licked the chocolate. Avni froze on the spot and her heartbeat raced. His slightly grown stubble gave tickling sensation and she shut her eyes feeling numerous butterflies in her tummy. This was the first time someone had come close to her. He pulled away wiping her smeared lips and held her hand taking her with him while she only stared at him being lost. She could still feel his lips on her skin and her cheeks painted with red hue thinking about it.
