The ride was silent. Cool breeze was swirling around them joining with the two hearts who were on the journey to discover the feelings of love, togetherness, trust and some of unsaid.
It was quite a pleasant weather the evening sun had been covered by the clouds. Everyone would have been with their loved ones spending their little time after their busy yet tiring day. It was getting tuff for neil to concentrate on the road when his love interest had been sitting behind him.

An interesting fact is juhi had never been seated on his favourite bike not that she didn't like but the truth is he never allowed. It was his favourite bike when he had passed his 12th grade with flying colours his father had gifted him this bike and from that time it has became so special for him. Avni was gazing the beauty around her with a small smile playing on her lips. And that smile could be dangerous to anyone it can possesses anyone. Neil glanced at her through rear view mirror and smiled. There were a little distance between them avni was holding the back side of handle for the support.

Neil: so in which college you were before?

Avni looked at him and pursed her lips.

Avni: uhm delhi university

Neil: really wow then what's the reason behind your moving here? And why you have chosen this college?

Avni: ( in mind) I didn't know na that I would have to meet you here. God mr. Question mark I don't even know him aur itne sawal.

Getting no answer from her he pressed the horn for few seconds and avni jerked off from her reverie. She glared at him being irritated.

Avni: stop neil why are you creating noise pollution?

Neil: you were not answering so thought to use this trick

He grinned making innocent face. Avni shook her head and looked away in pretending to ignore him.

Neil: hey you still did not answer

Avni: it would be better if you concentrate on the road rather than asking not so important questions to me

Neil: not so important? How can you say that Ananya being a friend I have full right to know about you

She looked at him in disbelief hearing friend.

Avni: wait I told you we are not friends can't you understand this simple thing?

Neil smiled smugly looking at her irritated face. Well now to irritate her has become his favourite hobby.

Neil: no I can't understand because I am very happy go lucky guy once I meet someone he/she would on my friend list on second including you

She huffed and looked away. While neil controlled his laugh to not laugh out loud.

Neil: waise I like your name Ananya sounds fierce just like you. When you were giving him a reality check I was awestruck seeing the strongest girl in front of me

He said with a contended smile describing her ever so powerful nature. While avni was in some deep thoughts.

Avni: ( in mind) strongest girl but no one knows the pain and sorrow that she is carrying within since childhood.

Neil: ( in mind) why do I think that there is something wrong. Her eyes held some kind of pain that I could clearly see. Her unsaid words that I am dying to here about what she is going through. Am I overthinking? But my intuition can't be wrong about my love don't worry sweetheart I will find out everything I am sure there is more into the story.

Avni got engrossed in some deep thoughts while neil kept on glancing at her through rear view mirror. After sometime they reached to her house. Neil applied the breaks and took out his helmet. He looked here and there and read the name plate of her house.

Neil: ( in mind) neesha avni ka ghar? Ye kesa naam hai aur avni?

Avni got down from the bike and noticed Neil who was staring at the name plate with a confused look. Avni got scared and started biting her nails.

Avni: ( in mind) oh God this is a big blunder what he must be thinking. Ye maa bhi na I told her not to hang this name plate but no she won't listen to me. Now I have to do something for cover up.

Neil: ye neesha avni ka ghar kyun ye toh tumhara ghar he na?

Avni: h ha mera hi hai but it's not ours it's been hanged from before. we shifted here a week ago and couldn't get time to remove this.

Neil: okay so friends

Though she replied casually but only she knew how she did it making excuses was not her cup of tea. When she heard him saying friends she looked down at his hand then at him and Neil was waiting desperately to shook her hand but his all excitement flew away hearing her.

Avni: NEVER

She said bluntly and turned around to go but felt a tug causing her to stop. She shut her eyes in annoyance. While Neil looked confused his eyes landed on her bag and he smirked.

Avni: neil leave my bag

He crossed his hands and pressed his lips together to control his laugh. Avni got annoyed more and turned around swiftly only to notice that the strap of her bag got stuck in the clutch of the bike.

Neil grinned and removed it slowly. He held the strap firmly and pulled her closer by it. Avni gasped and steadied herself by placing her both hands on the clutch.

Neil's brown orbs met with her black innocence filled orbs. He wanted to just run away with her where nobody could disturb them and he would be with her every second of his life. His feelings was getting more stronger and deeper by each passing moment.

Neil: tumhe kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi he in aakhon ne sab keh diya par phir bhi kuch adhura sa he jo me pura karunga. Tumhari dil me jo raaz chupe he usse is Tarah unhe bahar nikalunga ki tum khud bhul jaogi ki tum mere itne qarib kese aa gayi aur uss wakt sab kuch badal jayega tum meri ho chuki hogi. ( you don't have to say anything your eyes have their own tales of your life. But still there is something missing and I will complete it. The secrets that you have secured in your heart I will take them out in such a way that you  would forget how have you come this close to me and at that moment everything will be changed, you will be mine )

Avni was rooted to her place it's the first time someone had said that to her like that. Neil loosened her grip around her bag and started his bike and drove from there. Avni looked at his retreating figure then put her hand on her heart and she realized her heart was pounding incredibly fast.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had created a walls around her heart that none can see through her soul but today for the first time she felt like someone had come to open up her heart and that someone was neil.

She hurriedly went inside trying to ignore his words but his words kept on ringing in her ears. She closed the door of her house and leaned back covering her ears with her palms.

Someone came towards her and put his/her hand on avni's shoulder. Avni opened her eyes slowly and saw her angel, guardian and only person that could make her happy, her whole world. Her neela ma.

Neela ma looked at her being worried.

Neela: avni what happened baccha? Are you okay?

Avni wiped the sweat beads from her forehead and nodded slowly but a mother can listen your silence in a room full of crowds also and avni can never hide herself from her neela ma.

Neela ma: accha thik he go freshen up then we will talk okay?

Avni: okay ma

Avni went to her room while neela was in deep thoughts. After sometime avni came down wearing a comfortable t shirt and pjs. Neela ma was heating the food. She served her in plate and sat beside her observing her keenly.

Avni looked at her and understood she was waiting for her to spill out whatever she had inside her mind and heart. Avni Sighed and made puppy face.

Avni: ma let me eat first after that do what ever you want.

Neela: ha toh we can talk while eating right. So how was your first day? Did you enjoy? How many friends you made? How was the college and did you like someone or someone tried hitting on you?

Avni looked at her in disbelief and shook her head.

Avni: ma kuch bhi matlab hadd hai don't you get tired of all this. You know what my main motive is and yeah one more thing why did you put our nameplate outside of the house. Do you know how I answered neil? If he

Neela: one minute who is neil? Your boyfriend?

Avni face palmed herself and looked at neela.

Avni: this is not important ma and didn't you hear what I said? I am not interested in love and all this.

Neela: then how come Neil came here as far as I know you maintain one hand distance with every other boy then who is this special one.

Neela ma said excitedly. Her eyes were reflecting the joy and twinkle knowing her daughter had started opening up.

Neela: avni I won't mind if you share your personal secrets after all I am your best friend before your mother and it's normal having boyfriend in this age.

Avni looked at her emotionless and Sighed.

Avni: normal? May be for others its normal but for me it's not. I am not normal ma I am a curse who is behind the all chaos that happened in my life.

She stood up abruptly and said.

Avni: and please remove that nameplate otherwise we may get exposed.

She started going from there neela looked at her in anger.

Neela: how many times I have said to you avni don't blame yourself. It's not your fault I know what dayawanti Mehta said and did have imprinted on your heart deeply and you are proving her right by saying all this. Do you want to make her win? This is how you will take your revenge? What ayesha ji went through was because of you? You killed her? No right then why you don't understand this simple thing?

Avni closed her eyes her every words were reminding her dreadful past. She marched towards her room and shut the door harshly. While neela looked at her helpless seeing her daughter.

Neela: please bhagvan she has already faced a lot please have mercy on her. Bring someone in her life that will lit her painful and dark life please.

Avni came inside her room and threw her body on the bed carelessly. The tears made their way out from her eyes. The mental trauma, the wounds of her past is still fresh in her soul. How could she forget her freaking past. She sat up on the bed and took out her diary from the bed side drawer. She would pour her heart out in that diary conveying her every emotions to her ayesha ma. Neela is there to listen her thoughts but sometimes she feels better to write it down instead of saying it. She took the pen and started writing.

Avni: finally I can talk with you ayesha ma. Whole day I waited for the day to end so that I can share my thoughts to you. Why neela ma always does this why she kept on saying me to give chance to love. I don't believe this crap not after what you went through. Sometimes I think why you even loved that ungrateful and worthless person this much ayesha ma. Why you didn't choose your life over him? Why you fell in love with him so deeply that you couldn't see his real side? He doesn't deserve you. I hate him. And the most important why you gave birth to me? To make me suffer like this? To see from above that how much I am going through? Few tear drops fell on the diary she wiped her tears and took a deep breath. Chodo in sab baton ko mujhe pata he mujhe in sawalo ke Jawab kabhi nahi milenge. Today I met riya she is still the same arrogant, money minded and a proud granddaughter of dayawanti mehta. My first step is completed now I just have to go more close so that I can win her trust though it's not a big deal I know. And that ali, is he our ali? My best friend? I don't know but seeing him today I felt that connection. And that neil vo itna kuch bol kar chala gaya aur mai bas dekhti reh gayi. Kya matlab tha un sab baton ka? Why do I feel some connection with him? Mujhe esa laga jese vo meri Rooh ko padh sakta hai. Mai kya sochti hu kya feel karti hu sab usse pata hai. Par ese kese ho sakta hai hame mile ek din bhi nahi hua. Par pehli baar mujhe laga ki  ajnabee ho kar bhi vo ajnabee nahi hai. I know he helped me in the morning but bachpan se lekar aaj tak me akeli ladti aayi hu mujhe aadat nahi hai kisi ko thank you ya sorry bolne ki. And friends? I have only one friend and that is ali. Aur vo bhi kya naam tha uska haa kabir ham to dost bhi nahi the phir bhi usne meri help ki. I will be forever grateful to him. Life kitni ajeeb hoti hai na ek pal me kya hojaye kuch nahi keh sakte bas ek wish hai meri life se ayesha ma ko insaf dilana aur mera bhai aman usko wapas lana. Please ayesha ma help me to complete my promise and I love you. ( and that neil how much he said but I couldn't do anything but just looked at him. What is the meaning of his words? Why do I feel some connection with him? I feel like he can see through my soul what I think what I feel he knows everything? But how can it be possible we only met today. But for the first time I feel like he is not a stranger despite knowing he is. I know he helped me in the morning but since childhood I fought alone with every obstacle of my life I am not habitual to say thank you and sorry. I have only one friend and that is ali and that too what was his name? Yeah kabir we were not even friends still he helped me. Life is so strange isn't it? We can't predict what would happen next. I have only one wish from this life to serve the justice to my ayesha ma and take my brother aman back.)

She stared at the wall blankly and closed her eyes. Tab tak tum meri ho chuki hogi. Again his words rang into her ears. She covered her ears and Sighed being frustrated.

Avni: ughhhh why I can't able to forget this? why?

She laid down and hugged the pillow tightly and dozed off in deep slumber unaware of the fact that her life had just begun.
