Tears stream down Cora's face as she run to Jamie's house. She knocked on the door rapidly, Jamie opened his door and let Cora sobbed into his chest unceasingly, hands clutching at his shirt. Jamie held her in silence, rocking her slowly as her tears soaked his shirt. When he sees Cora cooling down, he brings her to his guest room and tucked her in. He went to the pantry to take some comfort food for them to enjoy before they face the reality. When he's in the guest room, he sees Cora's sniffing and obviously trying to hide it by covering her eyes.

"How are you going to watch the TV? " Jamie asked, getting in the bed with her.

"I have new superpower now. I can see through my hands."

"You know, I won't judge you if you're crying right? You're human. It's normal to cry."

Cora nodded, before snuggling into Jamie and watching the show playing on the TV.

The show ended and the room was filled with silence until Cora breaks it.

"They found him... They found Bucky."

"Bucky is a really cool name but what's that got to do with you."

"Bucky's is Steve best friend. He's the James Buchanan Barnes also known as the name on my collarbone. "Cora exasperated her hands all over the place just like her hair.

Jamie was baffled by the new information and he felt bad for his new best friend; being stuck in between friendship and relationship. Jamie tried to offer some piece of advice but even he knows how stubborn Cora is when she made up her mind about something.

Cora was about to enter her bedroom when she felt an excruciating tug on her chest. It takes Cora's breathe way, tears of pain welled up in her eyes and tried to slowly walk to her bedroom. Unfortunately, the pain was too much for Cora to handle and she just lies on the floor.

Sam walked out of his room to take his water bottle when he sees a figure lying down near Cora's bedroom. He looks closer when he finally realizes that it was Cora.

Cora is in so much pain, her complexion is ashen. Her short brown hair clam with sweat and literally sticking on her neck and face. Her eyes were wide open and she tried to not concentrate on her pain. Sam stroke her clammy brown hair and hold her hand. It barely seems enough as but it helps to calm her down.

When it was over, Cora was silently crying and was shaking like a leaf. Nobody deserves to feel that kind of pain, Cora thought.

Sam kept quiet the whole time and he bridal carry Cora to her bedroom. Sam tried to coax Cora from her quiet state by asking a lot of question but it didn't work. In the end, Sam tucked in Cora in her bed and sat beside her bed the whole time.

The next morning, Cora felt normal and she saw Sam sleeping uncomfortably on the plastic chair beside her bed. Ruffling her hair, she went to wake him up slowly, mentally preparing for Sam's rapid question.

"I know it's about your soulmate. You don't have to talk to me but I'll be here." Sam stated, kissing Cora's forehead before getting ready to head to the kitchen.

"Sam, maybe not now, but when I'm ready, you'll be the first one to know." Cora babbled, giving him a sad smile.
