Ronan
She looked back up to me as a flicker of many emotions shone from her eyes. "I'll be in touch." She firmly spoke, hurrying out of them room as her guards followed after her.
She remembered me.

Acaia
"Are you okay, ma'am?" Kade — one of my most trusted guards — asked as I didn't reply. "Set up a meeting with my father for 4pm. I'm going to Belle's, you do not need to follow me." I spoke towards the guards as I unlocked my matte black range rover, pulling myself in.
I rested my head on the forehead, taking a deep breath. I knew I recognised those eyes. Those fucking green eyes.

I rolled down my car window, pressing the buzzer. "Hello, Beckham residents how can I help you?" Emmit spoke in his telephone voice. "It's Acaia, Emmit."
"Oh hello, Miss Kutnetsov." Emmit kindly responded as he opened that gates. "Thanks Emmit!" I shouted out of my window as I passed his small office beside the gates. The frail bold man waved in response. Even though they had many guards propped up around the gates, I always found it shocking they still had Emmit controlling them at his old age — no offence.
The beauty of the Beckham mansions never failed to amaze me. There were five mansions in total. One for the guards, staff and all of those types of people. One for meetings. One for Belle's brother, Ryen. One for Belle. And one for her parents. But under all of this ground, was where the mafia things happened. That's where they hid everything.
I parked beside Belle's beloved pink range rover as I grabbed my phone, exiting the car. I walked into her house, not bothering to knock. Belle descended down her stairs, not surprised to see her best friend. "How did it go?" Belle questioned as they entered her kitchen. "Remember the guy I told you about years ago on my 13th birthday?" Belle paused in thought for a moment as she opened the freezer, getting out my ice cream and hers.
"Oh yeah, the one who disappeared?" I nodded in response as she slided my ice cream and a spoon over to me. "When I first walked into the room, i realised the man looked slightly familiar — especially his eyes. I didn't find his name out until he gave me his business card." I pulled the business card out of my pocket, sliding it over to Belle.
She pulled her glasses out of her pocket as she placed them on, reading the card. I watched as her eyes widened in shock. "No way!" I hummed in response, a smirk forming on my face as I took a scoop of my ice cream.
Me and Belle were probably the biggest gossipers ever. It was one of the only ways we stayed in touch with the fact we was still teenagers. "Do you think he had anything to do with your mum's death?" A rigged breath left my body.
Although she died 6 years ago, it would forever be a hard topic to talk about. I took another bite of my ice cream before speaking. "I mean, maybe. He kind of just disappeared after she got shot."
Till this day, the man who killed my mother remains unidentified. My father gave up with the investigation a month after and married another woman not too long after that.
"But anyway, I have a meeting at 4pm. Want to watch the new The Last Of Us episode before I have to leave?" Belle's face lit up. "Erm, is that even a question? Of course!" I laughed at Belle's response, following after her as we left the room.

Of course, Belle fell sleep half way through. She's like an owl. Sleeps in the day, awake in the night.
I quietly threw a blanket over her body before turning off the tv. I took off my heels so I wouldn't make no noises whilst I left. "Hi Acaia." Ryen waved towards me as he continued to water the plants. "Hey Ry." I responded as I got into my car before leaving the Beckham residents.
During the drive back, I got lost in my thoughts. Of course I had considered that Ronan could have had something to do with the murder of my mother, but not until now had I really properly thought about it. I mean, he disappeared straight away after he kissed me. Maybe kissing me was a distraction.
As I drove into the city, I spotted my fathers building. He owned the tallest building in New York and this was where most meetings took place and where the legal side of things happened. I pulled into my private parking space before getting out, heading into the building. The reception was pretty much silent, apart from the people sat in the waiting room probably waiting for there meeting. We had pretty much anything you could think of. We owned the best lawyers, doctors, accountants — anything you could think of.
The police were well aware that we was also a mafia, but they didn't ever interfere because we owned them too. There were many perks to being the most powerful mafia.
"Good afternoon, Miss Kutnetsov." Bettie softly spoke as I smiled at her. Bettie was one of the only people not scared of me in the building. She had worked for my dad ever since the start. She had a grey bob and pretty blue eyes. Sadly, she was to retire a few months from now.
"Afternoon, Bettie." I responded as I made my way into the elevator, which was slightly crowded, but they all made space for me. I pressed the highest floor button.
The elevator stopped at a few floors as people left and got in. As I reached the top floor, everyone went silent. It was as if they was scared to speak when I was around. I ignored them as I entered the meeting room.
"Acaia?" My father's annoying voice spoke. If you couldn't tell he was Russian by his looks, you definitely could by his voice. "Yes." I responded, taking a seat at the head of the other end of the table. He span around, putting out his cigarette, before he looked up to me. "Kade told me you wanted to speak?"
"Yes. I want to form an alliance with the Spanish mafia."
