"Hello, who is this?" Izuka asks her phone. "This is Kenjo from the police department. I'm sorry to inform you like this but your mother was killed in a villain attack while working at the hospital. Can you come down to the station as we have to figure out what we are gonna do with you as you are under age?" Izuka grunts a yes and ends the call starting to sob. Nezu, Hizashi and Nemuri look at her and ask what's wrong. She tells them with a shaky voice what she was just informed they all lean towards her and hug her and Nemuri drives them to the police station. The four of them lock the car then go in as one sad huddled group. The police officer waiting for Izuka sees them and wonders allowed why she was with two pro hero's and the principal of UA. "They are my friends and we're with me when you called now what do you want me to do so I can start plans for moms funeral?" The officer looks sadly at her and says "we have to put you in the foster system as you are underage and have no other living family." Nezu hears this and is pissed off he signals to the two pro hero's to take Izu in the corner for a bit then guides the officer to a private room. He then jumps on a desk so he is eye level to the man and snarls with a crazed look in his eyes. "Izuka will not be going into the system do you hear me! Instead I will adopt her! I already love her like a daughter and she trusts and knows me. This will happen or good lordie you will be begging on your hands and knees for mercy! Ok!" The officer nods quickly takes out the proper forms for him to fill out (which Nezu does in record time) and runs the papers to the place to get them legalized quick. Two hours later he comes back breathing heavy seeming to have run there and back. And hands Nezu the approved adoption forms. "You are officially Izuka's legal parent!" Nezu nods gives him a thankful look jumps off the table and goes back to the rest of the group. Nemuri is the first to speak "Why did that officer come running madly out the front door two hours ago and come back doing the same? What did you do Nezu?" Nezu grins and responds "Oh not much just became Izuka's legal guardian is all." Hizashi splutters "W-w-what? BUT HOW? It usually takes a week to get it approved even if your a pro hero!" Nezu turns to him and says "Not if your the smartest and scariest being alive." He then giggles maniacaly but quiets down when he sees a red eyed Izuka asleep on Nemuri shoulder. He smiles softly and shakes his new daughter. "Izuka hun it's time to get up we have to go to your home and pack everything up." Izuka stirs with a whine but then sits up and asks "Nezu what did you do?" Nezu laughs and says the same thing he just did to Hizashi and Nemuri. Izuka groans then grins "you always have been a father figure in my life seeing as how my dad left when I was two without a word." Nezu stores that information in his head for another time. They all get up and go to the car then drive to Izuka's apartment and finally someone asks, "wait a second how are we getting all the stuff back to Nezu's house the car can't hold much more?" Nezu giggles and points to the moving truck that just arrived. "I'm not gonna even ask when you ordered that to come come on gang let's start packing." Hizashi says and grabs a huge stack of flat cardboard boxes and packing tape and the others do the same while Izuka takes out her key and opens the apartment door they all go in and start silently packing. It was easy as there was only technically four rooms in the house. Nezu took the smallest room, the bathroom, he finished quickly so helped Izuka who took her room. Hizashi took the living room/kitchen while Nemuri took Inko room packing fast and carefully not wanting Izuka to see any of it and cry or open it up to see something damaged and cry. By the time they were done packing it was 9pm and they were tired but decided to finish it today. They brought the boxes out a couple at a time and loaded them into the moving truck they finished an hour later and Hizashi asks, "wait who is driving the moving truck?" To which Nezu says "you as I can't see over the wheel and Nemuri needs to drive us in her car and Izuka is too young." Hizashi nods hops into the drivers seat after making sure everything was secure and asking for Nezu's address then driving away. Nemuri and the others got into her car and followed him. They got to Nezu's house to see a grumpy caterpillar Aizawa sleeping on Nezu's front step with Snipe, Ectoplasm, Cementos, and Vladimir sitting near by. They all sit up when they pull in to the driveway. Aizawa shoots up abandoning his beloved sleeping bag and rushing to Izuka and hugging her. "Hi Izu sorry I wasn't there with you. Let's get you inside with Nezu, Hizashi, and Nemuri so you can sleep." Izuka sleepily nods and nuzzles into his chest earning her a purr. The four tired bodies go into the house Hizashi faceplanting onto the couch instantly falling asleep. Nemuri finds the smaller guest bedroom and crashes in a similar way as Hizashi. Nezu shows Izuku to the larger guest bedroom which will be her new room and she does the same. Nezu drags himself to his bed and curls up under his covers. His last thought before crashing is: if those four wake Izuka up by helping I will fire and kill them all except for Aizawa I'll just torture him.
