Raffle prize for winnner #1, doichi bokuroo fluff

Bokuto and Kuroo have been friends for years. Over the years, they have grown to know each other quite well... They have grown to know each other's hopes, fears, likes, dislikes and personal habits. As much as Kuroo loves Bokuto, he isn't a fan of some of his habits. Although most of Bokuto' habits are manageable, there is one that both annoys and saddens Kuroo. The habit, to Kuroo's dismay, has only increased in intensity and frequency as they have started to date, and as the school year has gone on.

"Do you wanna talk, Bo? You seem a bit..." Kuroo says, pausing to find a word that wouldn't make the already stressed Bokuto more frazzled than he already is, "a bit tense." Upon hearing Kuroo's voice, Bokuto stops frowning at his computer screen and instead flashes Kuroo a reassuring smile.

"I'm not stressed," Bokuto chirps, with a small, almost not noticeable sigh. "Or anything, if that is what you're wondering." There it is, the habit of Bokuto's the Kuroo hates. He doesn't like it when Bokuto lies AND bottles up his emotions. It isn't healthy for Bokuto to not talk about his feelings or express his true emotions. After all, even someone as cheerful as Bokuto is able to get tired and run down once in awhile.

Sensing Bokuto's desire to change the topic, Kuroo emits a heavy sigh. He doesn't want to stress Bokuto further by insisting by talking they about how he is feeling, but he can't just let the topic change so easily... In a quiet voice, so quiet that it is almost a whisper, Kuroo whispers, "You don't have to act tough around me, Bo. I can't judge you... Especially after you calmed me down at midnight when I was stress-crying over my mid term exam for chemistry."

There is something about Kuroo's almost-whisper that makes Bokuto feel calm, yet also make him feel like crying. "Kuroo..." he almost-whispers in response. He is unable to say more before crying. Rising from his sprawled position on Bokuto's bed, Kuroo walks over to Bokuto and traps him in a warm embrace. He waits for Bokuto to attempt to say more before saying something himself. "I h-have to w-write an essay a-about myself and I j-just can't d-do it. I've w-written three v-versions and e-every single v-version is awful." Bokuto's voice shakes as he speaks. "H-Help me, T-Tetsu."

That's it. Kuroo can't stand the sad, stressed Bokuto anymore. Covering Bokuto's face in kisses, he says "I bet all three versions are amazing! Before you get all frustrated and start to criticize yourself, let me read one. Just one. Hell, just let me read a paragraph of one. I may not be a writing warrior like you," Bokuto smiles when Kuroo calls him a 'writing warrior' instead of a creative writing major, "but I can recognize good writing." Releasing Bokuto from his tight embrace, he adds, "now pull up one of them for me to read. Or I can choose one at random. Like this one..." Before Bokuto can react, Kuroo clicks on a document title 'me version two'. To his surprise, hi name is in the first sentence of the essay.

"You're not reading this one, this one is the worst! At some points I just kinda ramble..." As Bokuto attempts to vaguely explain why Kuroo should not read the version he clicked on, Kuroo can't help but notice that Bokuto's cheeks have a pink hue.

"You're cute when you ramble though," Kuroo responds, making Bokuto's whole face turn red. "Actually, you're cute all the time."

"Tetsuuuu," Bokuto whines, all the while blushing and grinning like an idiot, "I love you but you aren't helping me focus!"
