What motivates me?
A lot of things motivate me. You guys may not believe me when I say this, but you guys motivate me a TON. Before I started sharing my writing on Wattpad I would write a story until I got bored with it and NEVER touch it again. One of the reasons I actually finish my stories now is that I know that you guys really like them and look forward to them. Other than you guys, what motivates me is inspiration, I guess. Sometimes I get such an AWESOME idea (such as actual alien Oikawa - "space boy") that I feel like I'm going to explode if I don't write it. I also have always liked reading and writing (although I struggled with writing when I was a smol child). My passion for reading and writing motivates me as well, and so do my fellow writers (wowww I just mentioned you guys again).
Who are your three favorite writers?
You want me to pick just THREE? That's impossible! I'm going to talk about a bunch. Here we go~ This first writer I fell in love with on Wattpad is Mortus. Mortus writes AMAZING Sword Art Online fictions that read like, and should be published novels. After Mortus I fell in love with flower-man. They write BEAUTIFUL Tokyo Ghoul fics. Their style alternates between being very descriptive and simplistic. No matter the style flower-man's fics tug at your heartstrings in positive (and negative :') ) ways. I also LOVE wrintertales, who writes Haikyuu fanfics. Wren writes in a novel like format that just blows your mind away. Senpai-chann writes a bit like Wren. Rae is especially important because I normally do not like x reader fics but hers are just A++++++
Okay I'm just going to list people now~
Three-chan's (hq, Free! Snk) fics tend to be short, but are just as enjoyable. Right now "rapture" is destroying me.
GrandKingOikawa (hq) - "Ultraviolence" is a super powerful fic that DOES NOT romanticize abuse. With each chapter I internally cry.
Sempiternalb3larus (hq, kpop)- A+ plot, A+ description, A+ spelling and grammar - DAMN KIRA BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH THE GREAT FANFICS
pasteltooru (hq) - super amazing drabbles ALKJFALKJFALKJ!!!
Doichi YOU BUTT I BET YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU ALAKJFLKAFJKLKJFALKAFJ. Your writing has almost made me cry like 100 times!?!?!?! Your writing also makes my writing look like trash!?!?!?!!!! I could read your writing like 192582784992929834292 times and not get sick of it. IF YOU CALL YOUR WRITING GROSS AROUND ME I S2G-
IN CONCLUSION: I love everyone in my "friends-maybe" reading list to no end. <3
What time are you most productive? I'm most productive in the afternoons and nights since I work/get done what I need to get done during the day. However I tend to crash and burn after midnight.
Where is your favorite place to write? I haven't done this since I got better internet, but I use to write in cafes all the time. I found the atmosphere calming (and loved the tea that came with it). Now I write at home sitting on my super comfy couch. I love writing in both places, I can't choose a favorite.
What is your favorite AU to write?
Oooooh this is such a hard one! I love pretty much any soulmate AU (especially one with complications). However, so far, I think my favorite AU has been the crow-person AU because Suga in that was innocent and precious!
Who is your favorite character to write?
Haikyuu- Probably Oikawa and Suga because I can relate to them a lot... Also I have come to terms with the fact that I'm basically an oisuga love child.
Tokyo Ghoul- Kaneki because I can write A+ angst/ he's basically me.
Free!- Rin because he is my emotional shark boy.
BSD- Atsushi bc CAT BOYYYYYY
One Punch Man- Genos because he is my sweet cyborg bf + "Saitama-sensei!"
What is your favorite story that you've written?
I'm going to have to go with "pressure". I feel as though I did an accurate job of portraying Oikawa in it. Also, I feel as though I humanized him, since some fans see him as a goofy, happy-go-lucky, lady's man. I also got to base a bunch of it off my own emotions and experiences of self inflicted pressure.
What is your favorite scene that you've ever written?
I wish I could chose a serious or fluffy scene, but I can't. To be honest, the scene that comes to mind is the one in "rain on utopia" that involves Suga saying "What's a stripper?" (or pole dancer I don't remember lol). Kuroo wants to show him and Daichi basically freaks out. I about died of laughter when I wrote that scene.
What is your favorite line that you've ever written?
I'm surprised you guys haven't been able to guess this one! I used it a TON. "Before connecting galaxies." I SAID THAT INSTEAD OF "KISSING", LOL
Grade A iwaoi, am I right? xD
Which story are you the most proud of?
I'm proud of "rain on utopia." I never thought a drabble that I wrote on my friend's birthday card would end up being a full length fanfic with 1.52k votes and countless funny comments.
Do you plan or do you write whatever comes to your mind?
Both, but not both? I tend to have a vague idea of what I want to write a few days before I write, but never write anything down other than the story. The exception to this is "three's a crowd" because there is no way I could keep track of all of those love children in my head. In general I usually just wing it and hope that it doesn't crash and burn (cough cough "smile" cough cough/ puke).
Share the synopsis of a story you are working on that you haven't published yet.
I've already talked to you about "frosting" LOL. Other than that I have an original story idea. I don't know if I'm going to write it or not... It would be called "she becomes you." It would be about a guy who connects his brain with a robot in order to create artificial intelligence, and the ideal version of himself. Unknown to him, the robot's and his mind meld together. In the end you would question who was really the robot ;)))))
