Mena's P.O.V

We pulled up to the studios "well here we are" I thought "no going back now" ever since I'd got the role of Aladdin in the new Aladdin remake I was both nervous and excited. It had been a week since I had gotten called up to be told I'd gotten the role and I hadn't even prepared my introduction. What if I was socially awkward? What if the other actors didn't like me? What if everyone thought I was weird and would get second thoughts about picking me to play Aladdin? I took a deep breath there was no going back now. As I stepped out of the taxi I payed the tab and put my bag over my shoulder. I sighed this was it there was no turning back now. I took a deep breath "you can do this Mena you're gonna be fine" I said to myself before taking a step forward and walking towards the studio.

It wasn't long before I reached the set, everything looked amazing there were trailers everywhere perfectly lined up by numbers and flowers that covered the entrance. As I stepped inside I saw a large sign above which said Studio 1 above me. After wondering around for awhile looking for my trailer I finally declared myself as lost and proceeded to ask someone for directions. As I looked across I saw a short girl standing near a trailer talking to a crew member. I decided to head over, as I did I saw her turn around to face me, "excuse me" I started "I'm sorry to bother you but I seem to be lost you see I'm here to play the role of Aladdin my name is Mena Massoud and I was wondering if you could tell me where trailer 401 is?" I saw the girl smile a little as she seemed to recognised who I was. "Oh sure it's right over there next to the trailer 402" she said pointing to a line of trailers just behind me. I smiled showing my appreciation "thank you so much" I replied gratefully. The girl held her hand out "no problem my name is Nasim" she said "Nasim Pedrad I'm playing Dalia in the movie Princess Jasmines advisor and best friend it's such a pleasure to meet you Mena." I reached for her hand and shook it "likewise, I should get going and freshen up a bit before we go on but thanks for the help Nasim" I smiled. She smiled back "no problem."

I left but before I was a long way from her and walked back up to her "uhhh also are there other actors currently around here just so I can meet who I'll be working with you know?" I asked nervously. Nasim didn't seem to mind however and explained to me about some ins and outs. "Yeah it's fine we'll all be introduced once we're called on set so don't worry" I nodded my thanks "ok great thanks Nasim" and with that I headed towards my trailer. On the way to it I bumped into someone, I heard an ouch which sounded like a females voice and looked up in surprise "watch where you're going!" The voice said. I was a little shocked "oh I'm sorry really I am I wasn't watching whe–" I paused when I looked up stunned at who I bumped into I was speechless! There standing in front of me was Naomi Scott, she was one of Hollywood's best top actresses.

Naomi's P.O.V

I was late for a fitting, just my luck for this sort of thing to happen to me, I sighed as I began to walk towards the dressing room when suddenly I felt someone bump into me. "Ouch!" I cried as I stumbled back a little before looking up at the stranger with a glare "watch where you're going!" I snapped. "Oh I'm sorry really I am I wasn't watching whe–" I scowled at the young man as he paused and looked up at me stunned, clearly lost for words. I rolled my eyes before speaking again "whatever, I have to go to wardrobe" I said clearly annoyed of being held up. Suddenly I heard the stranger speak "oh wow you're Naomi Scott!" I heard the young man say, I pulled an unamused look "yeah I know I–" I was cut off as he reached for my hand and shook it "you're like the biggest actress right now it's so nice to meet you I'm Mena Massoud and it's a pleasure to be working with you" he said with a smile. Not wanting to be rude seeing he was clearly some sort of fan of me I forced a smile, it was clearly fake but this guy was obviously just another crazed fan. "Oh look at me I am completely Speechless" I smirked before rolling my eyes again "but sure I guess it's nice to meet you too now if you'll excuse me." I politely excused myself and left after a while. As I walked away I saw Mena enter his trailer how naive was this guy I hoped he wouldn't be here long and was just an extra crew member or something because being around him too long made me feel childish for some reason.

A few hours later we were all called on to set and introduced to each other. Before we started filming the producers told everyone each of our roles and who we'd have to work with as co stars on set. "Will you will be co stars with Mena and Nasim on set" the director told us all "oh sweet! This movie gonna be freaking epic!" I heard Will say with excitement, I chuckled and smiled at Will it was a great honour to work alongside him and Nasim. The director turned to the next paper on his clipboard "ok and Navid you will be working with and your co stars will be be Marwan and Naomi." I smiled "oh that's great I can't wait!" I heard Marwan say he seemed ready and happy to play a villain role and work with us. I giggled as I listened for my name.

It was a while and soon enough everyone was informed of who their co stars would be, all that was left now was me. The director turned to look at me "and finally Naomi your co stars are and you will be working with Navid, Marwan and Nasim" The Director told me. I was over the moon I had 3 co stars "that's amazing" I said "but wait who is playing Aladdin I know Princess Jasmine has to be in love with him and I need to be closer with the co star who plays Aladdin so who is it?" I asked with raised eyebrows. The director smiled as he checked his clipboard then looked up at the entrance of the set showing he'd noticed someone was coming. "Ahh i was just about to announce that to you and I'm glad you asked because here he comes now, you will be working with Mena Massoud who will be playing the role of Aladdin. I was shocked and a little angry at the same time and before I could stop myself only one word came out of my mouth that I never would have expected "WHAT!?"
