Chapter Five: Bonding
Hermione's POV
We were having a lot of fun. We kicked out Malfoy and demanded that he got us stuff from the kitchens. He came back about fifteen minutes later with three baskets. One had drinks, napkins, and utensils, and the other two were filled to the brim with food!
"I told you he could be nice!" Pansy giggled.
"Maybe he's not as rotten as I thought," I agreed.
We played games for hours and did each other's hair.
"I dare you to go out and rip off Harry's shirt!" Lavender dared Ginny.
Ginny smirked evilly. "Gladly." She finished one of Luna's French braids, then ran out of the room, and we heard a scream a couple of seconds later. She burst back into the room and flopped on the bed. "Done!" She bit into a scone as Ron yelled, "Ginny, was that REALLY necessary?!" We all laughed.
It was well past midnight when I had decided that I really loved these girls. They were super crazy, but also super loving. Pansy and Astoria may have been Slytherins, but they were kind and loyal, just like a Gryffindor. I cleared my throat. "Gossip?" I asked.
Lavender looked stunned for a moment, then broke into a smile. "Yes!"
"I heard that Dean and Seamus both agreed to produce heirs with Chloe and Raquelle!" Astoria squealed.
I laughed. "No, they told me that all four sets of parents set it up."
Luna grimaced. "Oh poor them, that must have been quite the conversation!"
"Well," Pansy piped up. "I heard...Draco and Blaise talking about you, Hermione."
I was shocked, Malfoy, talking about me? Why?
"When?" I gasped.
"Before we were brought to your friends by Luna." Astoria nodded at Pansy's words. "He was talking about how this might have been good."
I frowned, I had run away, but Malfoy was talking about how something good might come of this law? "Great, now I feel horrible!" I lay down on the floor. "This is all messed up!"
"Well," Astoria smirked evilly at the other girls. "I think we should give you a makeover...and pull a small-"
"-prank." Pansy finished, wearing an identical smirk. "Pulling their heartstrings...how fun!"
Ginny caught on, "Oh, I like what you're thinking."
"Mind if I look at what you have, 'Mione?" Lavender asked, already looking at my clothes.
"Sure....?" I was confused. What were they planning?

"I did not think," I said, looking at myself in the mirror, "...that this is...what...you meant..."
We were all wearing super sexy-unsurprisingly-matching outfits. We all had a dress than went to our mid-thighs. It was a deep V-neck and showed off a lot of cleavage. Astoria had a sparkly navy blue, Luna had a bright orange, Lavender had a lavender dress, Ginny's was maroon, Pansy's was green, and mine was silver. We all had black pumps, a Gucci purse(For some reason there were like a dozen Gucci purses in my closet!), and dark red lips.
"Now, what's the plan again, girls?!" Lavender asked.
"We go downstairs and pretend to be going clubbing!" Ginny responded.
"Then we just go to places around the grounds and take cute wizarding pictures and do whatever the heck we want!" Pansy added.
"We come back and pretend to be half-drunk!" Luna finished.
I bit my lip. "Is this really a good idea-"
"LADIES! MARCH!" Ginny stood up and opened the door. We all walked down the stairs and into the common room. The boys were all there, watching as Harry explained how to use the TV.
"Hem, Hem." I cleared my throat. The boys all looked at us, and a range of emotions appeared on their faces. They all blushed, but Harry asked where we were going.
"CLUBBING!" Ginny declared. She held up six fake ID's. "LATER LOSERS!"
"Ginny, love, you can't-" Harry started.
"Are you telling me...what I CAN and CANNOT DO?" She interrupted.
He looked taken aback, but quickly stuttered, "N-No! Have f-fun!"
"That's more like it," She kissed him on the cheek and went out the door.
"Astoria, what would your mother say? She-" Blaise grabbed Astoria's arm. "Astoria, listen to me please-"
"She would tell me...'Good for you, doing what you want, when you want!'" Astoria pulled her arm from Blaise's grasp and followed Ginny.
Ron stood up and took Lavender's hand. "Have fun," he mumbled. "Don't sleep with anybody, don't kiss anybody-"
"I know, Ron," Lavender smiled. "I'll be careful, don't worry." Then she too marched out the door.
"Bye, Neville!" Luna singsonged.
"Luna-" Neville monotoned, "Stay safe...alright?" He blushed before kissing her on the cheek.
She blushed a bit, but nodded and walked out the door. "Don't worry, I'll only have a couple dozen shots!" She called from over her shoulder.
Pansy and Theo were mid-argument about whether she could go or not.
"I can, and I will!" Pansy stomped on his foot and strutted out. Theo jumped up and hugged his foot. I giggled.
"I guess I'll be the one keeping them in line tonight, huh?" I inquired the boys. Harry and Ron looked at me. They got up and walked towards me.
"Careful 'Mione," Harry hugged me.
"Send us a Patronus if you need anything!" Ron assured me that they would, in fact, pay attention in case we did send a Patronus before I walked towards the door. I looked over my shoulder one last time, winked, and left.

Draco's POV:
"That...was weird..." I commented.
Potter nodded. "Well anyways this is the remote controller-"
"Mate, you've gone over that three times already!" Theo groaned.
"I-" Potter scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, that was weird..."
"Why would they be going clubbing? They aren't even allowed off the grounds...right?" Longbottom asked.
"Well it bookworm Granger, she's probably got McGonagall's permission!" I snorted.
"Yeah," Blaise added. "They're all good girls so...I wouldn't be surprised."
"They're all basically engaged to us, why would they even want to?" Weasley queried.
"Maybe they just want to have fun?" Theo stated, almost questioningly.
"That's possible..." Potter walked towards the cabinets and came back with six bottles. "Firewhiskey anyone?" He put five bottles on the table.
"Thanks," I took a sip. I sighed as the liquid burned down my throat, a familiar, joyous, and welcome sensation.
"How'd you-"
"Because they didn't check my bags, Nott," Potter grumbled.
After that, we talked mostly about schoolwork and Quidditch. Eventually, somehow, we came to the topic of our spouses.
"You're a very lucky man, Malfoy, 'Mione's real special." Potter glanced at Weasley as he spoke. "I don't know how I'm not with her, but I'm not, and I can't do anything about it."
"I won't hurt her, Weasley. Granger's a good person for the likes of us Slytherins," I assured him, nodding and Blaise and Theo. "We've done a lot of shitty things, but we are trying to change."
Blaise nodded. "Besides, you've got yourself your own woman. Lavender Brown."
Longbottom punched Weasley's shoulder. "Getting jealous, eh?" Weasley blushed a bit as Theo started to snicker.
"Don't want her kissing anyone else?" Theo laughed.
"Hey, what is Pansy started snogging McLaggen or something?" Weasley retorted.
"He'd kill him!" Blaise howled. "Theo's had a crush on Pansy since-"
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Theo clamped his hand over Blaise's mouth.
"Third year!" I continued for Blaise. Theo glared at us. We all burst into laughter.
"You smelled parchment in the amortentia, Draco!" Theo jeered. "You must have loved her!"
I stopped laughing. "You fell out a window trying to impress Pansy!"
Potter howled with laughter. "Do tell, Malfoy."
"So," I wheezed. "He wanted to look-all cool-you know? So he leaned-against-a window!-And it-was...OPENED!" I cackled. "He tried leaning-back-more and he-f-fell!" We all laughed at this, even Theo.
"You know, Harry once broke-" Potter slapped Weasley's mouth.
"Alright, I think we're-" Potter tried to stop the story, but ultimately failed because Longbottom continued it.
"He broke up with Ginny like a dozen times in one hour!" Longbottom laughed. "He tried to do a coupley thing, but then he was like-'No! We have to break up!' and walked away!" We all laughed again. Hearing embarrassing stories about each other was...kind of funny. I never really had this growing up. Yes, Theo, Blaise, and I did do this, but we already knew each other's embarrassing stories, so it wasn't as funny.
"Let's not forget about the time when you gave Luna Devil's Snare!" Potter sassed to Longbottom. He paled.
"Let's not-"
"Slithering Salzar! Longbottom, shut up! We wanna hear the story!" Theo snickered. Longbottom sat back down and took a sip of his Firewhiskey.
"So Luna's always loved weird and out-of-the-ordinary things, right?" Weasley wheezed. "So he was doing a project on Devil's Snare for Herbology-"
"-and he kept some to give to Luna!" Potter finished.
"Yeah, and when I gave it to her, it tangled in her hair and wrapped around her arms!" Longbottom took another sip of his Firewhiskey. "Damn embarrassing, that was."
Blaise looked at the time. "It's getting late, when will the girls be back?"
"Good question, not sure!" Longbottom answered. At the change of topic, Blaise relaxed.
"Oh no, we aren't changing the topic until we an embarrassing story about Blaise!" Weasley insisted. "One story, that's all." He laughed. "It's got to being really embarrassing since he's the last to go!"
I racked my memory for something embarrassing. I looked at Potter, "Give me just a minute!" I ran up to my room and went to my trunk. I picked up a [icture and went back down. The guys all looked at me expectantly. I flipped the picture over.
"MATE!" Blaise tried to grab the picture, but I threw it to Potter. He started shrieking.
"BEAUTIFUL! WITCH WEEKLY MODEL RIGHT THERE!" He threw the picture back to me.
"That," I snickered, "Was when we let the girls play with their new stuff." In the picture, Blaise was wearing a 1700's princess corset gown. He had on heels, a powdered wig, and a lot of makeup. He looked like a clown!
"You know," Weasley commented. "You aren't so bad...Draco"
I smiled a bit, finally feeling accepted and replied, "And you aren't either...Ron."
