Prateek's Pov

"How are you feeling now?"Swathi came and sat beside me.

"Ahhh...Fine"I said pressing my ankle which is truly hurting a lot.

"I asked you to take rest for few days but you were back to work so soon after the marriage,you should have rested for a while,atleast a couple of days"Swathi nagged like a typical housewife.I looked at her cute face and cute expression I couldn't stop smiling at her.

"What?"She shrugged her shoulders and pouted a bit seductively,Does she?!

"Nothing"I nodded and looked away.It has been a week since we got married still I am suffering with sprain,I very narrowly escaped a hair line fracture or so.I am using all my energy to cope up the pain to work at office.We could recover more than 50% of the losses in a span of one of half month.It lifted most of the pressure from my shoulders

I should thank dad for constant help and guidance.Sameer is also helping me alot.I am thankful to god for everything.

I am recovering slowly,I am feeling so bad as I couldn't spend some time with my loving wife.Moreover this pain is showing me hell at night times.I am almost wincing in pain,bellowing all the night.

Doctor told me it will take another week or so to releave at least half the pain.I felt bad.

"I love you"I placed my hand around her shoulder and pressed it gently trying to make her smile.

"Love you too"She gave a peck on my lips and smiled back.

"Are you angry with me?"I snuggled my head in the crook of her neck and asked a bit hesitantly.

"For what?"My touch made her stammer and loved it.

"You know what I am talking about.I knowI didn't live upto your expectations.We are newly married couple,You might have dreamt about going all alone from everyone to honeymoon"I gave enphasis to word honeymoon and looked at her.

"Uhmm..."She pressed her lips a bit impatiently and looked at me,my eyes for a while.

"I don't have any words Prateek.I love you and I can wait for your love though I miss it badly.I want you to be healthy first"She winked.

Oh god!She is opening up,Did she say she want me,my love badly.I shook my head and looked at my leg for a second.

She quickly caught my chin and lifted it with her soft fingers and continued"I am sorry if I said something stupid but your love,your touch and you alone can make me complete Prateek.I love you and as you said earlier I want to be yours in all ways soul,mind and body"She kissed my cheek and rested her head on my shoulder.

"But before that I need you to be healthy completely"She pinched my cheeks lifting her head up.

"You didn't ask what just happend?How could you?You didn't ask me why I was late to mandap?"I looked into her eyes.

"Because I love you and believe you more than myself.You are the one who taught me that"She smiled sweetly adusting the drape of the saree.

I couldn't take my eyes off her,Her beauty.She looks as an angel in yellow colour netted saree,the colour of the saree is adding charm to her complexion.

"I love you"I splashed my lips on her vehemently.

We shared a very passionate kiss as we both hide our desire just for my sake,just for the sake of my stupid leg.

"It was an attack Swathi,Some people attacked Arjun and I saved him by God's grace"I released her from my burning kiss and dragged her closer almost to my lap.

"What?"She freaked at my words and looked at me disbelieving with bug eyes.

"Yes,Swathi!It was a preplanned attack on Arjun.Thank god I reached in time.Arjun found someone following him at central mall.He was going back to his house.Few henchman tried to attack him,somehow he escaped and called me in the mid way.I reached his home and waitinf for him.There I got attacked by few men and just because of all your prayers I am safe and sound here but sad thing is Arjun is brutally beaten by them and he is in ICU thriving for his life"I said with guilt filled eyes.

She didn't say anything just opened her mouth agape in response and looked at me with wet eyes.

"Thank god you were safe what if anything had happened to you?I can't breathe even"She hugged me tightly and nuzzled her nose in my neck.

"I am fine and safe"I caressed her hair and tightened my grip over her bare waist.Don't know how long we stayed like that feeling each others touch.

"Do you want to meet him?"I broke our hug and asked her suddenly.

"Of course.What about Shreya?Should we tell her the truth?"She spoke looking away avoiding my gaze.

"I too don't know but she is partially responsible for this."I am truly angry with her.I know I am a bit harsh to avoid her but she still didn't get rid of her childishness,She almost killed him by telling them henchman his address.How could she do as such?She should have told me everything if she doesn't believe me she might have told everything to dad but she did something so terrible in the name of revenge.

"As far as I know his intentions are very clean"She mumbled drawing circles on my chest playing with the button of shirt.

"I know"I nodded and took her hand into mine and kissed it.

"I will take you to hospital tomorrow"I winked at her and pecked her forehead.

She wrapped her hand around my waist and kissed me lingeringly keeping my laptop aside tactfully.

"You became so naughty"I smirked at her.

Swathi's Pov.

"Is it?"I am shocked to hear those words from Prateek.

"Yes!"He nodded and looked at me.

"You truly know how to make me listen your words"He smirked.

"Shut up"I blushed and looked into his eyes.Suddenly stream of thoughts poked my mind.I closed my eyes turned towards him and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I need to confess you something"My voice became so shaky and "Promise me that you won't be angry with me."This time I almost cooed.

"I won't ,tell me what ever you wanna say"he nodded his head and smiled cupping my cheeks.

"Arjun has contacted me."I said and looked at him eagerly for an answer.

"Hu..."He nodded and picked his laptop and started working with it again.I felt really sad.He is angry with me I can see that.He is not at all ready to listen to my words and even have a look at me.

"I saw him for the very first time at mall. I saw him bickering with Shreya.Shreya rejected him and left him all alone in mall.I felt truly sad to see him there slumped on floor and weeping like a child.I felt bad and followed him hiding as I thought he eventually would do something so disturbing and sad.So I don't know what to do so I blindly followed him.I saw him getting into his car and he didn't start it for a long time.Minutes are passing slowly yet he didn't started his car.I felt something weird so I walked to his car and devastated to see him in pool of blood..He didn't close the windows for god sake.I saw a deep cut on his wrist and blood is oozing from it profusely."I sighed and looked at him for his response.He didn't look at me still working on his laptop but I can sense he is listening to my every word very carefully.I felt a deep stab in my heart, lowered my head instantly trying to stop these bloody tears pooled up in my eyes.

"I took him to hospital with the help of watchman there and somehow he survived.He pleaded me for help ,he wants to met Shreya. I didn't allow him to met her but I couldn't avoid him straight away.He was the one who asked me to change the quote ,I did as he said.We won the tender,later I came to know his intentions are pure."I said at a stretch closing my eyes.

"Love you"He took my face into his palms and kissed my forehead laughing crazily.

"What?"I am totally surprised by his reached.I never expected this reaction from him for sure.

"Stupid"He kissed my cheek a bit mischievously.

"Aren't you angry with me for hiding things from you?"I asked him with a sad face.

"Yes!I even saw you changing those files in manager's cabin"He said still looking away from me.He is so stringent to take away his gaze from laptop.

"Really?"I am literally shocked at his confessions.

"I couldn't stop myself so I talked rubbish on that day we had our candle light dinner.I was deeply hurt by your actions so I asked you to finish that singhania's contract by that evening itself"He said in a apologetic tone.

"I am sorry"We both said together.We didn't talk for a second,eerie of silence.I dragged myself closer to him and embraced my arms around his waist.

"Love you"He kissed my hair and ruffled it smiling widely.

"Love you too"I am putting all my energy to tighten my grip around his waist.

"You almost frightened me"I lifted my head and said looking into his eyes.

"Me?"He questioned me with a cute pout.

"Yes!You Mr.Prateek Mishra"I said poking on his chest with my pointing finger.

"I too have few things to confess"He sighed and looked at me with a pale,confused face.

"What are those?"I am feeling very nervous as I don't want to listen anything wrong.

"I came to know something or someone is bothering you.So I simply followed you and kept a private detective to find that thing or person.I came to know its Arjun,he was the one tho behind everything.I kept quiet and followed you to apartment.I have seen him talking to you.I felt suspicious over him and followed him to his home.Later I learnt he is in danger and Ashok's men are after him all the time.They even attacked him twice or thrice"He looked at me with a pale face and confessed everything.

"I don't have any words to express my feelings.I love you" thats what I can say,I gulped and said to Prateek who is looking at me with a pale face.

"Thank god!You didn't take me wrong for snooping you,I don't have any choice"He said looking at me nervously grinning widely.

"I love you Prateek"It's hard for me to choose other words to express my feelings.

He took my face into his palms and kissed me deeply for a while.I didn't restrict him as I already told that his touch is like a drug,intoxication to my skin.

He kept on splashing his lips on mine slowly tracing his fingers on my shoulders making me feel heavenly.

He moved his hand on to my waist and tickled it for a while making me giggle wriggle in his arms madly.

"What are you doing to me?"I whispered in his ears between few chuckles.

He didn't respond just moved his lips to my neck and showered few kisses fervently.

"Prateek"I pummeled his chest to get rid of his sweet torture.

"I am not gonna leave you"He said huskily and pulled me towards his lap.

He couldn't bear my weight as he is having severe pain on his left ankle.He just fumbled making me fell on ground literally.

I stood up and looked at him in worry whether he had strained his leg?!

"Ahhh...I am sorry"He screamed in pain and looked at me.

"Just take rest"I whispered in his ear and somehow he reached bed with the help of me.

I looked at his phone and saw few missed calls from Shreya.

"Why are you avoiding her?"I asked looking at him who is struggling to settle himself on bed.

"Don't you know why?She hide things from me"He complained and looked so sad.

"Do you want me to talk?"I asked him hesitantly.

"No!I have a plan for her"He mumbled and looked at me smirking.
