word of the day: infallible

father assures me there's nothing to fear:

"oh, sweet girl — this ship is unsinkable! she's made of godly steel!"

she stays afloat when flooded! no worry you should feel!"

          but my triple nightmares tell me differently:

          the iceberg, the drowning cries, the media storm.

          foolish are the men who think themselves infallible...

                              "...mother...there's something i must tell you..."
