In a jiff, the power was back as Jungkook gazed at your face. Your eyes were closed while your back head rested in his large palm as the teardrops escaped your eyes dampening your already drenched face.

He pulled your frame closer by your waist as he wiped your tears off from your visage but he sensed your warm skin against his palm.

He stretched his palm to your forehead, notifying your temperature as it was really high. His cold palm slithered against your hot skin, "Why are you punishing me like this, carrot?" He asked your unconscious figure as another tear escaped your eyes which he wiped off with the pad of his thumb.

Hefting your physique in his arms by slipping his hand under your thighs he picked you up in bridal style before striding towards the bed and depositing your figure on the mattress, gingerly.

"Mrs. Lucy!!" Jungkook shouted as the lass rushed upstairs with Jungkook calling her name while Jungkook caressed your mellow cheeks.

Standing up he pulled over the comforter over your frame as just then Mrs. Lucy stepped inside your room as he eyes widened discerning your frame on the bed, "Oh god!! What happened, sir? Is Ms. Lee okay?" She asked with worry.

Jungkook looked at her, "Yes, Bring cold water and a towel." She hurriedly nodded before stroding downstairs but was met with Taehyung and Jimin who lost connection when the power was cut off. Taehyung would need more time to seek the location of Lucifer.

They decipher Mr. Lucy's worried frame as Jimin asked, "What happened Mrs. Lucy?" She looked at them as she answered, "Actually, Ms. Lee. She is not well. She has a high fever. Mr. Jeon is with her." She scurried in the kitchen while Jimin and Taehyung strode upstairs.

Jungkook placed your hand inside the comforter as he rubbed your cold palm with his.

Jimin and Taehyung halted on the threshold of your room when they saw Jungkook rubbing your hand with him, making them warm. For the first time they saw him like this while the tension was visible on his face, "Y/N, why are you so stubborn?" Jungkook murmured as he placed your hand inside the comforter.

"Let's get back to work." Taehyung murmured as Jimin nodded as they went back to the security room.

Mrs. Lucy came back with the cold water and a towel as she said, "Let me do it, Mr. Jeon." Jungkook straight up said, "No, I will do it. You can go. I will call you if I want something."

Mrs. Lucy placed the tray on the bedside table as she bowed and left the room, closing the door behind.

Jungkook damped the cloth in the cold water as he placed the damp cloth on your forehead after squeezing the excess water into the bowl itself. Recurring the process for a time period. He placed his palm on your forehead to examine your temperature which was still warm but better from before.

Jungkook gazed at your face as your eyes were swollen and your face was a little pale, your lips were chapped.

He stretched his hands to caress your cheek with the back of his fingers as he remembered how you told him not to leave you and stay by your side lifetime, "I will stay by your side."

He retreated his hand as he took a last glance at your sleeping frame and he sauntered out of your room after switching off the light but letting a lamp on to gleam the murky night with the amber rays so you won't get scared.

Jungkook stepped downstairs where he met Namjoon.
Namjoon bowed to him as he asked, "What happened to the power supply?"

Namjoon answered, "It just suddenly got cut off." Jungkook looked at him, "Or someone intentionally did it?" Namjoon looked at Jungkook with wide eyes as he raised his eyebrows, "Who would dare to do that?"

Jungkook said, "Watch every guard. I want the traitor tonight." Jungkook sucked in his teeth before sauntering to the security room as Namjoon nodded.

Stepping inside the security room Jungkook discerned the bright screen as Taehyung and Jungkook were close to catch Lucifer. The screen showed the details of Lucifer. He was in Seoul-teukbyeolsi, Jongno-gu, Sajik-ro-3-gil 23.

"He is hiding there." Taehyung stated as Jungkook read the address, "He will die today." Jungkook thought to himself.

Jungkook strode out of the room as Jimin called his name followed by Taehyung but he didn't halt even for a second.

"Jungkook, where are you going?" Jimin shouted following him as Jungkook said, "I will be back, don't even dare to chase me." With this Jungkook scurried in his car as Jungkook took one of the cars which was already in Porte Cochere.

"Jungkook!" "Where are you going?" Namjoon ran in Jungkook's direction but Jungkook steered his car out of the mansion.

Jimin and Taehyung caught up with Namjoon as Jimin said, "Don't follow him. He is in rage." Namjoon sighed in frustration.

Jungkook sped up the speed of his vehicle, entering the main road he steered the car from between the cars already running at a normal speed but his speed only increased.

He propelled through the vehicles which were steering in the same directions as he swiftly took a turn to the left, spinning the steering to the left while the car halted which was about to collide with his car.

His grip strengthened on the steering wheel as his knuckles turned pale. His eyes were showering hatred and rage at the same time while the corner of his eyes turned ruddy and the brim of his eyes were moist.

He halted the car in front of the empty backstreet, there was not even a single trace of a being there.

Slamming the door of the car shut he strode towards the specified address he read on the screen. His feet halted in front of the door as he pressed the bell a couple of times.

After a few seconds, the certain male opened the door, Jungkook looked up from the patio, looking daggers at him.

Lucifer looked at Jungkook confused as he took some steps towards Lucifer who retreated himself back as Lucifer asked, "Who the hell are you?" Jungkook stepped inside as Lucifer gulped down.

The door got locked behind as Jungkook walked in the direction of the male who just stepped backward. Taking a look around the house, Jungkook's eyes halted at Lucifer.

In a jiff, Lucifer threw a jab in Jungkook's direction as Jungkook held his wrist and the other shoulder pushing him to the wall behind him as Lucifer's back hit the lamp which fell on the ground breaking into fragments followed by Lucifer as he was about to get onto his feet when Jungkook heaved Lucifer with the cloth of his jacket.

Lucifer raised his feet as he tried to smash Jungkook again but Jungkook again pushed him to the wall strangling him with his hands as Lucifer tried to get out of his grip.

Sensing Lucifer losing his grip around Jungkook's hand, he drew his hand and held his nape as he shoved Lucifer's head on the cupboard which was propped on the left side.

Jungkook pulled back Lucifer as he pushed him to the wall and threw jabs on his face, one after another. Taking out all his rage at the god father's murderer while Lucifer's head waggled to the left side everytime Jungkook threw a jab at his face.

Jungkook's orbs were dark as his eyes were red while he took out his anger on Lucifer until he went unconscious.

ungkook sat on one of the couches present in that house while Lucifer laid on the floor with blood oozing out of his mouth and hand tied while his cheeks had many gashes.

Jungkook waited for him to get his consciousness back as he heard some whimpers coming out of Lucifer's mouth as he tried to open his eyes.

Jungkook looked at him, playing with the knife which he got a hold onto from the kitchen a minute ago. He whirled the knife in his hand as Lucifer gazed at the knife then at Jungkook with his drowsy eyes.

"Do you know who the man was, whom you killed yesterday?" Jungkook asked, playing with the knife. Lucifer wept as he answered, "No, I don't." with his bloody mouth.

"He was my god father." Jungkook answered his question as Lucifer looked at him with frightened eyes.

Jungkook asked another question, quietly, "Who gave the orders?" Lucifer answered, "No one..... I was driving while drunk so my truck hit the car."

Jungkook questioned, "You would collide your truck with any random person's car and drag the car with your truck meters away."

"Do try to be understanding of me...." Jungkook said, hitting the knife on the glass coffee table placed beside the couch, producing a clink sound. "After all, you killed my father!"

Jungkook pulled out Lucifer's hand which was making a fist before as Lucifer stammered knowing what Jungkook is about to do.

Holding one of his fingers, Jungkook lacerated his finger while Lucifer shouted in pain. Taking out his other finger Jungkook propped the knife alongside Lucifer's finger, "Who gave you the orders?"

But Lucifer answered, "It's the truth.... I was drunk." Jungkook penetrated the knife through his fingers as Lucifer howled, "This is f*cking last time I am asking you. Who gave you the orders?"

Jungkook held his other finger but before that Lucifer answered, "Alex." Lucifer mumbled, whimpering in agony.

Jungkook closed his eyes as he opened them as he pulled Lucifer up by taking a handful of his hair and forced him up. Lucifer whimpered, whispering a lot of sorrys as well as joining his hands together to let him go.

Jungkook pulled his head closer to his face as he glared in his eyes with his dark one's, placing the knife alongside Lucifer's neck as Lucifer trembled in fear.

"Please let me go..." Lucifer wept as Jungkook asked, "Do you want me to let you go?" Lucifer nodded as Jungkook said, "Okay then, go."

Jungkook leaned back on the couch leisurely as he gazed at Lucifer and his next steps, "Where will you go?" Lucifer waggled his eyes on the floor thinking where he would go because this is the only hiding place he knew.

"I will tell you..." Jungkook stated as Lucifer looked at him, "Alex." Lucifer's eyes widened as Jungkook continued, "Tell him that I am coming."

Lucifer raised his feet from the floor, thinking Jungkook would attack him but Jungkook didn't even move a bit as Lucifer walked and stumbled out of the house as the scattered glass fragments pierced through Lucifer's leg but he just wanted to get out of the house, away from Jungkook.
