You grasped around Jungkook's neck tightly, clenching your eyes shut as you got yourself hot to trot to feel the throbbing pain of the knife piercing through your flesh, but it never came.

Jungkook was throwing daggers at the button man holding the knife in his palm securely, which was about to run through your body, but Jungkook held the metal knife as it glided through his palm, making a lacerate.

The scarlet gore ran down his palm, depositing on the sand, and was absorbed in a few seconds.

The button man looked at Jungkook in horror-struck as he looked at the globules of blood dripping unevenly. Namjoon scurried in the situation as he blotted the button man, making him plunge on the sand with a thud, perceiving the voice you broke the hug with Jungkook.

Your eyes sought the button man whom Namjoon was taking care of as Guards took their position around you both with their weapons.

Your head wiggled back at Jungkook as your eyes tensed while your hand reached to see if he was hurt or not. Jungkook cupped your face with his right hand as you looked down at his left hand, the gore rushing out.

Your eyes glistened, watching his palm, "Why did you do this?" You asked, holding his hands with your trembling ones. Jungkook was gazing at your face all this while, "Just what you were about to do." He whispered with an infuriated voice.

He didn't like the idea of you getting hurt while saving him, he won't bear it if anything happened to you.

Your anxious state was the only thing he was looking at as he pulled out a handkerchief from your pocket, wrapping it around his bleeding palm as tears gushed down your cheeks, some drooling over his palm.

You wrap a knot at the back of his palm until he gets medication, your bleary eyes were watching the white cloth turning scarlet but his eyes were trying to find yours.

You couldn't meet his eyes, your heart was making it difficult as you held his palm gingerly over your shaky ones and wiped off the tears with your other hand, "It must be hurting." You declared his pain but he was scrutinizing your visage as how you were biting down on your lower lip to control your sob but your tears said otherwise.

Jungkook stretched his hand to place your chin on his index finger and pushed it up to look into your eyes which you were trying to ignore but couldn't resist his touch.

You gazed back into his eyes, blinking to let the tears pour out so you can have a better view of his visage. He aimed at your lips wiggling his eyes back at your orbs as he traced his thumb over your lips before leaning in.

They were enchanting him to capture them as soon as possible. Your lips were quivering, "I love you." He whispered against your lips as his breath hit your petals. You were astonished because you knew he did and you heard that, that night with all ears.

He loved you. Scrutinizing your eyes which didn't hold any emotion but love, he thought of you pushing him but you didn't move an inch, by his shock you clutched onto his turtleneck nigh his shoulder pulling him closer with your will.

His lips brushed off your salmon petals as you shut your eyes to feel his mellow lips on yours. He closed his eyes, tracing his hand on your waist which was propped under your chin as you held the other one, carefully.

Your lips touched him making you flow through a warm feeling, his fingers gripping over your flank tightly as he stepped forward, not wanting any distance between you two.

The feeling of letting it out from his heart which he has buried for many years, he was feeling light and you accepting him, he was on a cloud of nine.

The birds flapping their wings in your stomach while you felt his lips shifting over yours, pulling off and then again capturing them with the slow smooch, feeling his tongue skimming over your lips.

Your heart was doing flips on this erratic feeling throughout your body as you gulped down. The sudden thud made you break the kiss as you twitch your head letting out a squeal and discerned one of the guards on the sand with blood all over surrounding his suit and sand.

Your eyes enlarged but Jungkook held your head from the back, pushing you to his chest as if a gesture to shield you from any further, "Are you okay?" He confirmed as you let out a nod.

He held your hand in his, firmly scurrying you towards the car while Namjoon gazed around trying to look for the one who shot the guard.

Making you settle in the car and shutting the door, you didn't let Jungkook go out of your sight even for a second as he sat on the driver's seat as he stopped to your figure, and pulled the seatbelt for you while the other guards rushed to their cars including Namjoon.

Putting on his seatbelt, Jungkook steered the car taking a swift turn. Some cars were following us while some drove ahead, you watched him speeding up as you held on to your seat.

Watching you getting tense, he stretched his hand out to hold yours as you gingerly held his injured palm and locked his eyes with yours.

You saw him, tapping the screen of the car in front of you. He was calling someone as you read the name Taehyung, Taehyung picked up the call, "We were attacked." Jungkook stated after Taehyung picked up the call as you silently listened to their talks.

"Come fast, I will be waiting for you at the back road of the abandoned building." He hung up after talking as you looked at him, "Why did you call Taehyung Oppa?"

Jungkook looked ahead as he said, "To take you to the mansion."

You turned to him, "We are going to the mansion, right?" You asked with your eyebrows furrowed as he answered in a stern voice, "No, Only you."

"No, you won't go anywhere alone." You shook your head at all the possible negative outcomes as he looked at you, "Carrot, don't be stubborn. You can't get hurt."

You looked at him with perturbed eyes, "No, no, no. You won't." Tears brimming in your eyes as you flashed to the scene when Jungkook got hurt a couple of weeks ago, "I have to, carrot. Please don't make it difficult for me." He looked at you with sad orbs.

Jungkook held your hand as you held it tightly in fright in both your hands, the warm hand giving you acknowledgement about his present and that he was safe.

The whole ride you were tearing up while Jungkook took glances at you as he put on the brakes at the location he apprised Taehyung about.

Namjoon called Jungkook as he answered by swiping the screen sideways, "Jungkook, They are following us." Namjoon informed Jungkook about the cars which were chasing them behind, "Stop them till I hand Y/N, over to Taehyung." You looked at Jungkook after hearing your name coming out of his mouth.

Jungkook swiftly turned the car to overtake the guards as he accelerated towards the destination while others tried to terminate the cars belonging to Alex and Robert.

Jungkook halted the car on a vacant road breaking down your stupor as he got off the car after plucking off the seatbelt as you watched him coming to your side and opening the door of your side as you pulled off the seatbelt.

You stepped out of the car, hearing the screech of the car which stopped in front of you both followed by other cars, guards taking their positions. Taehyung and Jimin stepped out of their cars watching you two.

You held Jungkook's hand one last time before the departure. Caressing your hand with the pad of his thumb he leaned in, submerging your jaw and chin in his huge palms prior to touching his petals on your forehead, leaving a gentle peck as you closed your eyes.

Backing off, you wrapped him in your embrace as he placed a kiss on your head, caressing your head, "I will wait for you. Be safe." You said against his chest as he said, "Promise!" He declared as he added, "Don't cry."

Nudging you off he dug out something from his pocket which he prior thought of giving you on the beach but destiny said otherwise. You watched him taking out the silvery metal bracelet as your lit when ananlyzing the bracelet which you misplaced weeks ago.

He studied your expressions before slipping the bracelet into your hand, skimming his fingertips over your palm. His lips curved upwards so did yours, "Come." He said holding your hand.

Walking you to Taehyung and Jimin as you glanced at his profile, "Come, Mrs. Jeon." Jimin asked you while opening the door of the car for you. You let go of Jungkook's hand before taking a last glimpse at him and making your way inside the car.

"Keep her safe." Jungkook ordered, gazing at your physique while Taehyung nodded, "We will." Taehyung sat back in the car before driving off to the manor with the guards, leaving some behind for Jungkook as well as Jimin staying back.

You looked at Jungkook's frame until his figure disappeared. Jungkook let out a deep sigh as the car faded from front of his eyes, he looked back looking at the cars of the guards while he heard gunshots. Scurrying to his car, he took out his gun as well as bullets while Jimin already had his.

The cars halted with a screech as they were coming in full as Namjoon swiftly turned his car expeditious, halting just beside Jungkook's car before coming out of the car and taking his position.

Jungkook and Namjoon gave each other a glimpse as they both nodded slightly, doing telepathy just with their gazes. Jungkook glanced at Jimin, nodding his head. Propping the guns ahead of themselves, they started hurling bullets with their guns once discerning button men jumped out of their cars.

Dodging off the bullets the others were hurling as they stooped down in their cars while a few of the guards plunged with blood oozing out, gushing all over the concrete. You wiped off your teary eyes, "Don't cry." His words rang in your ear.

"He will be fine. He has promised me that he will come back." You blinked off your tears, scratching your skin with your nails as you nodded believing his words.

While Jungkook dodged the bullet before holding the button man's hand and hurling the bullets with his gun at other button men before shooting him in his head and throwing the button man over the road.

"I don't know, where this will take us but I promise, I will come back to you."
