"Are you okay?" You nodded, nudging onto his shoulder as he swam over to the edge of the pool.

Your heart was beating inside your ribcage as if it would have popped out in some seconds if you had been inside there even for a second. Both of your clothes were drenched while Jungkook flapped his hands and feet to reach the edge.

"Oh! Jungkook! Are you okay?" It was Namjoon who scurried into the scene after hearing the splashing voice of water while Mrs. Lucy followed him as her eyes widened watching you both inside the pool, "I will get the towels." She trotted.

Helping you to sit on the edge of the pool with your legs still soaking inside the water as Namjoon gave a helping hand to Jungkook to get his frame out of the water. Standing up on the edge while water dripped over the floor making it wet, Jungkook turned to you as he helped you raise your feet.

"Did you get hurt?" Jungkook asked while inspecting your figure as you shook your head no while your teeth chattering. Mrs. Lucy came with towels in her hand as Jungkook gripped one of them before placing one around your shoulder and another one over your head before ruffling your hair to soak the wet out.

You fiddled with your finger as the towel was hindering your view so you had your orbs propped on the floor as you watched him taking a step closer to you.

He pulled the towel as you looked up at him. He asked, "Why haven't you slept yet?"

You looked at Namjoon and Mrs. Lucy as they made their way out of the poolside area while you pouted, "I also have a question to ask." You said as he hummed for you to continue while he continued ruffling your hair, "How come I was sleeping on my bed yesterday?"

You scrutinized his reaction as his movements halted for a second before he looked away for a second as he said, "Why won't you? You must have slept there." You pouted, "No, I didn't." You said holding the towel from him as he retreated his hands back, placing them on his flanks.

"I clearly remember that, I was waiting for you sitting on the couch-" You babbled out everything as he raised his eyebrows at you as he asked, "You were waiting for me?" You tried your best to put a blind eye on his gaze while he took a step towards you making you retreat one, "No...No! I was saying that I slept on the couch." You tried beating around the bush but he didn't let go of your statement.

"You waited for me!?" You stammered over his question as before you could collide into the chaise lounge chair behind you he pulled you by your chest, "Careful with your steps." He warned as ignoring his eyes for a few seconds you finally aimed at them and your accelerated heartbeat did so much.

Looking into each other's gaze lovingly yet carefully, your once astonished eyes relaxed meeting his serene ones which held a question for you but you didn't want to answer.

"I have already told you, One wrong step can lead you down." He said as you gazed at his orbs with your mouth parted while he wiggled his orbs from your orbs to your mouth.

You gulped down saying, "I...I know... Don't beat around the bush! Tell me did you tuck me in the bed?" You asked, summoning all your courage by being an inch apart from him. He opened your mouth as your eyes trailed to the bottom of his face while his eyes were aiming at you, not knowing whether to tell you or not.

He slid his hand all along your waist, tugging you adjacent to his front as your hands reached to rest over his chest making your eyes enlarged with his gestures. He inclined his visage to you while your head headed back but he swiftly turned his face next to your ear as he could feel your hot breath on his neck which he felt cold as water trickled down his skin.

"What do you wanna hear?" He whispered as your already enlarged eyes widened at his words. First of all, You both haven't been this close and him pulling you nigh him while slipping his arms around you was making you feel nervous and hot all of a sudden.

The way he whispered in your ear was way too tempting and alluring for you as unwittingly you clutched onto his coat lapel tightly, you could feel your heartbeat and so did he as you watched you gulp down the lump in your throat as you stammered, "I...I wanna hear the truth." You whispered while he was still inclining next to your face.

You let out an erratic breath that hit his damped skin, he closed his eyes at the feeling before opening them and whispering, "I didn't." He murmured as your eyes furrowed while you retreated your face to look at him, "Why?" You shouted as he looked at you with raised eyebrows while you clenched your eyes shut, What the hell did I say?

He gazed at you with a mild smile that disappeared once you opened your eyes, "Why? You want me to carry you to your room and tuck you into the bed?" He asked gazing down at you as you opened your mouth, "No... No! That was not what I meant. You...You know it just slipped out of my mouth." You construed but he raised one of his brows at you.

"I...I am gonna go and change my clothes." You said trying to escape from his embrace as he loosened his grip around you as you skipped out of the poolside area your cheeks tinctured salmon color and all you could do was take flight out of his sight while you could feel his gaze on your back as you looked at him with your side eyes while he smiled to himself, "Adorbs."

You came out of your trance as the page of your book flipped back, with your grip losing around the page. You held the book aligned in front of you, reading the next chapter.

The amorous scenario approaching in the chapter just made you shut the book with a thump as you closed your eyes in frustration and sighed. "Why isn't it getting out of my head?" You recline your frame on the couch, "It just slipped out of my mouth." Your mind stated that you spoke out, but your heart said and knew it was otherwise, "You helped him knowing that he likes you, not just as a friend but as a partner." "I didn't mean it." You spat out, quarreling with your thoughts.

Raising your feet, You went to put the book back on the shelf, You wanted to distract your mind from these thoughts, wanted them to separate from him but all the things remind you of him.

Pushing the book beside another one, you tried to pull out another one don't knowing that a book was already placed on top of it. Gazing up, you discerned the book falling which was kept above as you closed your eyes stooping a bit.

Waiting for a few seconds, not feeling anything, or hearing any sound which led you to open your eyes, You looked up watching a sturdy hand holding on to the book. Your eyes traveled behind you as you discerned him.

Your gaze met his dark orbs already looking down, into your eyes. Your lips parted while his gaze traveled onto your lips and then back in your orbs as you scrutinized his petals with the metal lip piercing decorated it a way further, gravitating you but you immediately cut through your gaze at him.

He took steps towards you as you retreated, your back hitting the shelf. Your eyes level over his chest, while you again looked up at him stepping nigh, observing his Adam's apple bulging as he gulped down a lump in his throat while he placed the book back on the shelf.

"Careful." He said in his low tone as your gaze trailed over his jawline so sharp while he spoke before looking down at you. You stepped right to get out of between his arms which were placed beside your head, wanting him to get his hand down so that you could move.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He asked, impounding you between his arms, the pout didn't take long to form on your face as you crossed your arms over your chest looking ahead of yourself, "You already know."

You heard him sigh, "Carrot, It's unchancy. We have a huge garden here and you can do whatever you want. Tell me what you're craving, and I will bring it to you."

"I wanna go out." You declared, "Staying here is making me claustrophobic. I want to go out, just for a few minutes. In Australia, I would go anywhere without anyone's interference. I was my king. At this rate, I would die-" He cut you off, clutching onto your shoulders and propping your back on the shelf.

Your heart accelerated at the sudden movement as he stepped toward you. You looked in his dark, nut brown orbs while he gazed down at you while furrowing his eyebrows together, "Don't let that word out of your mouth." You could feel his eyes tensing up, "I was just being sarcastic." You looked at him in befuddlement.

Closing your parted lips, you both had a staring conflict of a feud, without setting his eyes away from you, he came nigh to you while you retreated, feeling the books behind you touching your back and your hand in fists clutching onto your dress.

Gazing at you for some satisfactory seconds while you gulped down looking into his eyes, he strode out of the library, you let out a deep breath, "He scares me." You blinked while watching his broad back.

You walked downstairs towards the kitchen, sloshing yourself a glass of water while some drizzled over your right hand and down on the floor, "Aish!" You bobbed your hand up and down, putting the glass of water over the dining table.

You guzzle the water while standing behind the chair, turning around you were encountered with the unlooked appearance of a sturdy chest, you choked on the water going down your throat as you coughed placing your palm over your mouth.

You felt his hands stroking your back as you retreated yourself as he said, "Cool it." It was Jungkook, you looked up at him, more of a glowering look. Shifting, your shoulder to let him know to remove his hand from your back, "I am fine." You acknowledged him with a grating voice.

You begin walking away after placing the glass back on the table when your foot overlaid on the water which had dribbled down before as you tripped, a squeal left your petals.
