Kradness's P.O.V.

I wake up in a bright white room with a couple machines next to me, and the beeping of a monitor. How did I get here? I open my eyes with fatigue and turned my head to look around, not even bothering to sit up straight. I came to this conclusion...

I'm at a hospital.

I finally remember how I got here.

Now to figure out how long I was here.

A nurse walked in as soon as she saw my eyes open. I guess she was checking me for my vital signs and heartbeat and whatnot. She looked like she was talking to me, but, I an barely hear her. But, I think I heard her just a little.

"...You have been here for approximately a week because your wound was deeper and more severe than we thought, But the doctors still managed..." That's all I was able to keep track on. The rest were just mumbles. "But today, you are well enough to have a few visitors to see you. Only a few.."

Visitors? Who? Reol? My co-workers? Officer Un:c, Officer Soraru, Officer Mafumafu, Officer Luz... 

Then one important person popped inside my mind.

[First Name]-san!

Will she be coming? I hope she does... I began to miss her so much.

I love her.

A few hours later, the same came in again and said that my first visitors were coming in a few. At lease I can hear her, that means I could hear my visitors. 

"Kura-kun!" Someone yells as they entered my room, making me jump. A brunette.

"Shut up. You're too loud." Another says... raven-haired.

"Aww, Soraru-san, don't be so mean... you'll get him hurt again," A third person, an albino, says. "Kradness-kun! We're here to see you again!"

"Um... hello." I say.

"Ahah! Long time no see, Kura-kun! We missed ya!" The brunette said again.

"I don't think he remembers us..." The raven haired one doubted.

"No, no... I remember you guys! My fellow utaite!" I point at the albino, "Mafumafu," then to the raven, "Soraru," then to the brunette, "Shoose."

"EEEE! Yay! You're actually alive, Kradness-kuun!" Mafumafu hugs me.

"Hey watch out, you might suffocate him. He's still recovering you know?" Soraru nags.

"Leave him... as long as nothing breaks... or explodes, it's fine." Shoose laughs.

"Woah! Mafu! Be careful," I smile, "I missed you guys, too. And yes, I'm alive."

"That's good!" Shoose says, "Oh and by the way, a very special person is coming by soon." He winks after using his gossiping voice.

I blush.

We continued with the visit for a while, then they left after another few came. Luckily, there's no press- and I don't want that kind of publicity. But all the while, I was waiting for her.

I looked out the window, it was sure getting late. Then I looked at the nearest clock for the time... 5:24. Well, not too late.

She has to come...

I heard a knock on the door, and there came in [First Name]!

"Kradness!" She exclaimed as she ran to me on my hospital bed and hugged me. "I'm glad you're okay!"

"[First Name], I'll always be okay. Since you came, I'm more than just okay."

I look her in the eyes, they're tearing up. "I'm glad."

"Hey Kura-kun! I see [First Name]-chan found you." I see Un:c walk in with my beloved lion onhis shoulder... I see he was excited to see me too. Krion rushed up to me and started to nudge and kiss me.

"Anku-san! You're here also!"

"Of course I am..."

We all talked happily like nothing ever happened, like how we've always been talking, way before I was injured.

I enjoyed their company so much, everyone's.

After a while, Un:c left the room with Krion, leaving [First Name] and I, alone. There was a long silence when he left, but she broke it.

"Kradness, are you sure you're okay?" She asks one more time.

"I am. But, you're here, so everything is better, now."

She smiles, "I have another question..."

"Ask away."

"This letter," she pulls something out of the pocket of her jacket and opens it to show me. "Did you actually write this for me, truly?"

My eyes widen, "O-of course, yes... Who gave it to you?"

"Anku-san." 

"He did?"

"Yes he did," she looks down at it. "He said that you've been wanting to give this to me, but never got the chance to."

He's right... I didn't have the chance to. I was just... a bit... afraid to confess to [First Name] then. Now I just need to step up my game and actually tell her, she deserves to know my feelings.

"Yeah, he's right." I look up at her, then across the room, "That letter contains something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now."

"I think it contains what I've been wanting to say, also," she bends down and leans in closer to me and kisses my cheek. "I love you, kradness."

I look at her blushing face with semi-widened eyes, then I bring her face closer to mine. "I love you, too. [First Name]."

I kiss her, gently, on the lips.

Then a series of small kisses came after.  

Your P.O.V.~

I couldn't help but just melt into the moment, It wan't romantic, but it was straight to the moment... and heartwarming.

"Ilove you so much," I whisper to him as I hugged him tightly. "I can't express that enough."

A little time has passed before I left the hospital. I din't want to leave him, but he needs his rest. The doctors and nurses would take care of him. Until then, I'll try and take care of myself.

Everyday, I just hope he gets better... I just wish everything will turn back to normal.

About a week later, Kradness was discharged at the hospital. He was able to  walk, but he needed assistance just in case he stumbles. I was so excited to see him get released, so I decided to come along and meet him there. A couple of utaite officers were there already. As we assisted him back home, we received news from the Little Edo Security Department. Kradness could not get back to working as an Edo officer in the Community Guard for at least a couple weeks because he still needs to recover more, and they need to rebuild healthy files on him. But, that doesn't mean he can't stop from being an utaite.

Kradness's injury wasn't publicized, which was a good thing at least.

He asked me to go out with him and we met at the spot where he first introduced me to his lion, and where he first called me beautiful.

The Cherry Blossom park, as I like to call it. Surrounded by the pink and the blue, we talked over about some things.

"[First Name], look. I love you. But you do understand that there's are a couple of boundaries between us."

I stare into his rusty red eyes, "Of course I understand. I have thought of that before- many times before. But, it has never gotten to me because it didn't seem like a problem." I have him a soft smile and put my hand on his cheek. "Why do you ask?"

"I ask because I wanted to know if you're really okay about this." He squeezes my hand, "I am an officer and you're a student, and there's a large gap between our ages. It just... I just... love you so much. I just want the best choice for you."

"You are my best choice." I kiss him, "Anyway, age is just a number, and jobs are just a status... any love between any two is acceptable, as long as it's appropriate."

Kradness looks down and takes my hands as he turned toward me, "Oh, [First Name], how persuasive. And... thank you for being there for me."

"No," I say. "Thank you for doing all the things you did. I love you, kradness."

"I love you, too, [First Name]."

He kisses me passionately, holding on to me, not letting me go. Sealing our words and making them into promises...
