"Mai!"Floyd and Aatos called in a panic as the girl's body hit the ground.
Wendy had turned back around, hearing the panic and worry of bystanders and the people she had just been talking too only a few seconds ago.
"Mai!"Floyd had called a second time as Aatos lifted Mai's upper body carefully into his arms. His other arm slipped under her knees, lifting her quickly to make her hood slowly fall against her back. Her face was hidden by shadows cascaded by her long golden hair, but just by that had unsettled the Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail.
His hand reached out unexpectedly, but before he could say, or do anything-
The two men, Floyd and Aatos ran, carrying the girl they had called 'Mai'. The bystanders quickly moving out of their way.
"Mai, I do hope she's ok,"Wendy stared at the directing they went.
"Wendy... That scent..."Natsu held the wrist tightly of his right hand that had reached out, pushing it down to his side.
"Yes, its very familiar,"Wendy nodded, looking up to him.
"It was just like... Lucy's,"he stated, almost not believing it himself.
"Let's get going. We can't start thinking of her, there's one more day left,"Wendy urged on, pulling on his arm to leave,"If we think of her, we'll only think of her and not the games. We have to win, and when we do, the sun will shine brightly, reflecting Lucy's smile."
Natsu nodded, tearing his eyes away from where Mai had been carried off to.

"Mai,"Floyd called the blonde lightly, her hand in his as she lay on her bed at the inn they had rented rooms at,"She was just fine, so why?"
"I don't know. She has never just fainted like that before,"Aatos stated.
"Could it have something to do with that Wendy girl?"Floyd questioned.
"No, she would've fainted sooner,"Aatos sighed, messing with his long hair,"I would ask Mai, but I'm afraid if we do, it might hurt her to remember."
"She's complicated, all we can do is sit back and go in at the times we are needed,"Floyd sighed,"For how many months we have spent with her, she shouldn't deserve this. She's a good girl."
"We just need to try and protect her as best we can,"Aatos put his hand on Floyd's shoulder.
"But from what? We can't lock her inside and hide her away. I would never do it, even if I could."
"I don't know, but we have to do it. For her."
Floyd laid his head against his arm that was resting on the bed,"Mai... Please wake up soon."
