A/N: Hello readers/fans of this story! First of all, let me just say that I'm so glad that there's people out there that want me to continue this book ;; u ;; I really do love this story and I hope to eventually complete it one day, but I do want to tell everyone who's been invested in the Piccolo x Luna saga that I will be putting this book on pause after I publish the next few chapters (┬┬﹏┬┬) I WILL COME BACK TO COMPLETE THIS MASTERPIECE ONE DAY, I swear it 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

But for now, I've kind of fallen out of the DBZ fandom and I only have a few more chapters left to edit and post... So anyway, I hope anyone who likes this story can enjoy these next few chapters and maybe check out some of my other books while you're waiting for an update 😅

"So what is this Spearmint, your inbred mutant cousin or something?" 17 asked, his eyes never leaving the sinister bug-like creature that was continuing to stare them all down.

"Wait, I thought he was on your side?!" Piccolo said, raising one brow as the dark haired fighter looked back in confusion.

"What? Why would I know him?!"

"Hello... Brother..." Cell rasped, interrupting their little conversation and staring at Android 17 while smirking creepily. "And hello... My beautiful sister..." He went on, looking at 18 before licking his lips...

"Oh fuck no..." 18 mumbled, taking a step back as she knew this couldn't be good...

"And... Uh, umm..." Cell mumbled, his eyes narrowing as he looked towards the other red headed fighter with them. "Uh..."

"I am designated as Android 16." The largest android announced, frowning as the green monster looked at him boredly.

"Cool. Anywho..." Cell said quickly, not needing to bother with the other man as he jumped down from the cliff, landing in front of them all before smirking. "You have my sincerest gratitude Piccolo..." He stated, glancing at the Namekian before continuing. "Without your power level, I would have been left searching for them blindly. But thanks to your little scurmish, I have been reunited with my family... And we have so much catching up to do..." He finished, his tail swishing behind him excitedly as he chuckled...

"Okay... So am I alone or did that not explain anything?!" 17 stated, looking around at everyone else as Cell smirked, starting to power up.

"He calls himself Cell..." Piccolo answered, glancing over at the androids briefly. "He's one of Dr. Gero's creations... He's from the future!" He finished quickly, feeling the monster's energy level climbing higher and higher as 17 laughed.

"Oh sure... He's from the future?" The dark haired boy smirked, chuckling slightly. "Yeah, and I'm a park ranger..."

"That sounds nice." 16 stated, the blonde woman next to him frowning.

"Can we focus?!"

"RrrrrrAHHH!" Cell shouted, his energy exploding around him as everyone jumped back...

...

Across the ocean...

...

"Guys... Is that who I think it is?" Tien questioned, all of them still standing on Roshi's front lawn as they tried to sense what was happening in the battle.

"Yeah... Y-yeah..." Krillin stammered, frowning as he knew Piccolo's odds just went from bad to worse.

"Dammit... And we still don't have that detonator..." Roshi sighed, frowning as everyone remained silent.

"We're out of time! We need to do something now!" Tien shouted, unable to just sit back and do nothing. Piccolo is going to need all the help he can get right now... He realized, wondering where Luna and her friend were at a time like this...

"Here's a thought... How about one of you who can fly faster than the speed of sound, go meet Bulma halfway?" Chi Chi said suddenly, surprising them all as Krillin turned around before blinking a few times.

"Chi Chi, you beautiful woman who lives in Goku's house..."

"That is what I do." Chi Chi stated, crossing her arms as Master Roshi raised his eyebrows.

"Well then, which one of you-"

"Dibs!" Krillin shouted, taking off before anyone could stop him as they all watched him take off towards Capsule Corp.

"Well that works..." Roshi sighed, adjusting his sunglasses before continuing. "Guess this is all we can do until Goku and the others get back-"

"ENOUGH!" Tien shouted, surprising everyone as he jumped up. "I am not a spectator! I AM A WARRIOR!" He yelled, taking off in the direction of the fight as he hoped he wasn't too late...

"Can never read that guy..." Roshi mumbled, himself, Chi Chi and Yamcha watching with mixed expressions as his energy faded into the distance...

Back on the battlefield...

Piccolo was momentarily stunned. Unable to believe how much stronger this monster had gotten in such a short amount of time. How... He thought, frozen in shock as he watched Cell walk closer, passing him while heading towards the androids as he suddenly snapped out of it.

"How... How many people?!" Piccolo shouted, gritting his teeth as Cell paused for a moment before smirking.

"Enough." He answered coldly, continuing to walk up to 17 before stopping directly in front of him as he sized up the younger fighter.

"Look, I don't know what you're on about with this 'family' nonsense, but if you're here because of Gero, I 86ed him myself..." 17 said proudly, grinning at the bug man across from him as he went on. "So why don't we cancel these family matters, shelve the photo albums and WHOA!" 

The dark haired fighter shouted, jumping back as Cell's needle tipped tail missed him by inches. Everyone could only watch in shock as Cell grabbed 17 by the arm, slamming him onto the ground before stepping on his other arm as his tail hovered over his chest.

"Wh-what..."

17's blue eyes went wide as Cell grinned evilly, about to go in for the kill before a kick to the face sent him flying. Piccolo jumped back, watching as Cell recovered, sending him a murderous glare while 17 got to his feet.

"Okay... Future bug man... Let's say I uh, believe that now..." 17 stated, his eyes narrowing as Cell continued to watch both of them like prey. "Where do we go from here?"

"Inside me." Cell answered, licking his lips again as 17 frowned, already creeped out enough without this horrible thing making awkward jokes.

"Stop it."

"He's also a walking, talking petri dish of the galaxies strongest fighters..." Piccolo explained, frowning as he got into a fighting stance.

"No need for flattery Piccolo... You're already inside me." Cell rasped, smiling eerily as the Namekian growled.

"STOP IT."

"That's fun... But it really doesn't answer the big question..." 17 went on, still confused. "Why is he here?!"

"You know, it's rude to talk about someone when they're right in front of you..." Cell hissed, narrowing his eyes at them all as 17 frowned.

"Okay... Why are you here?!" 17 questioned loudly, staring at the monster as they all waited for his response.

"Because bitch..." Cell rasped, his eyes dilating a bit as he smirked. "I drink people."

"Yeah... Fuck that." 17 stated, jumping forward as Cell batted him away easily. Piccolo went on the attack as well, doing about as well as 17 as he was knocked across the dirt while 16 and 18 watched.

"You should leave." 16 stated seriously, looking down at 18 as she tilted her head in confusion.

"Why?"

"Neither of them can stand up to this 'Cell'." 16 explained, frowning as he knew this was becoming a very dangerous place to be. "If he defeats them, you may not be safe."

"I can't just run! I'm way too curious to see how this plays out..." The blonde woman answered, slightly worried that 16 was this concerned.

"I believe that is a poor decision..." 16 warned, wishing she would listen to him as 18 sighed, making up her mind before turning her attention back to the fight.

"Maybe... But it's mine to make."

Both of them continued to watch as Piccolo and 17 attacked Cell, neither one of them doing very much damage as the monster easily avoided their advances.

"Rrgh..." Piccolo growled, jumping back and powering up an attack as Cell continued to walk closer. Small rocks began to rise off the ground as a ball of ki appeared in his hands, 17's eyes going wide as he ran to get out of the way.

"LIGHT GRENADE!" Piccolo shouted, a huge blast of energy erupting violently as everything in front of him was reduced to rubble. The blinding yellow glow ripped apart a good portion of the island, 17 continuing to watch with a shocked expression as random debris and bits of Earth continued to rain down on the battlefield.

"He never stood a chance." 16 stated, his orange brows coming together as the blonde woman next to him smirked.

"See? And you were so afraid of the big bad bug..." She teased, the smoke finally beginning to clear as the other android shook his head.

"That is not who I meant."

Everyone except 16 seemed shocked as Cell rose out of the water, not a scratch on him as he seemed completely unfazed by Piccolo's attack. The sinister insect chuckled, floating over to the remaining part of the island as he stepped towards Piccolo, knowing there was nothing the other fighter could do to stop him now...

Yes... This is it... Cell thought, his cat-like eyes dilating as he grew more and more excited to achieve his perfection. Once I get rid of Piccolo, Android's 17 and 18 are mi-

BAM!

Everyone could only stand and watch wordlessly as Cell was sent tumbling across the ground, caught by surprise by the woman who was now standing in his place. Luna looked up, her fist still raised to the place where it had connected with the monster's face as her lavender hair fell around her slowly.

Her energy is on a level similar to my own now... 16 realized, frowning as he wondered how these other fighters could be capable of becoming so much stronger this quickly. Perhaps, there is a chance...

Piccolo just continued to stand there, completely mind blown at what had just happened. How... Her energy... She might even be stronger than Goku right now! He realized, wondering how that could be possible as he noticed Cell slowly getting to his feet, his eyes narrowing as he stared at the Acaiian...

"You aren't the threat I was training for..." Luna stated, staring at the monster across from her as everyone listened in while she smirked. "But you'll do."
