So just because he's a machine, I can't feel his energy? That doesn't make any sense! Vegeta thought, narrowing his eyes in irritation as he flew. Energy sensing is bullshit... He concluded, letting up a bit before landing on a nearby boulder.

"Hey, why ya hidin'?" Vegeta taunted, hoping to draw the other man out with a few well thought out jabs. "You scared 'cause I blew up your friend?"

Silence.

"I'd call it your sexbot... But as you're currently demonstrating, you don't have any balls!"

Nothing.

Android 20 smirked, listening to the angry Saiyan from his hiding place as he formulated a plan. Yes... He's desperate to find me... Android 20 thought, realizing he would most likely have to retreat for now. I just have to wait him out...

"Aw man... Sure do feel winded after blowing up your robosexual life partner..." Vegeta said sarcastically, looking around in irritation at the valley of rocks around him. "Sure would suck if you jumped me and took my energy... Oh no! Some dust in my eyes! This is the worst..." Vegeta went on dramatically, getting more impatient by the second...

"Get the fuck out here!" The Saiyan finally snapped, raising his hand above his head as he gathered a large amount of energy.

Android 20 grinned, seeing his opportunity as he watched the warrior above him send a huge blast towards the landscape below. Luna arrived just in time to see what was about to happen as she shouted, knowing she was already too late.

"Vegeta, NO!"

The Saiyan looked at her in confusion before his eyes darted back to the Android who was quickly dashing in front of his attack. Vegeta frowned, watching in shock as the white haired man smirked, raising both hands before bracing himself as the blast hit him head on. Both of them watched with wide eyes as the android sucked up every last drop of energy, laughing happily as the red gems in his palms shined.

"Thanks for the charge you fool!" 20 laughed, smirking once more before jumping away quickly as he made his escape.

"Darn it! He tricked me!" Vegeta shouted, gritting his teeth as he cursed under his breath. "Get back here!"

"Vegeta! Wait up!" Luna shouted, following both of them as she sensed the others not too far behind her...

"This tactical shit's getting really old..." Vegeta growled, landing on a free standing rock before looking around as he tried to calm his temper. "Now you get out here and fight me blindly like a man!"

Hmpf... Yes, you may be a Super Saiyan Vegeta... Android 20 thought, a smug grin on his face as he observed the fighter looking for any trace of his whereabouts. But you're still just an arrogant little brat... Aren't you? He chuckled inwardly, watching the patience literally draining from the man below him.

"Olly olly oxen bitch!" Vegeta shouted, growling as Android 20 jumped down from his hiding place quietly.

While you continue to prattle on, I shall make my escape and... Android 20 stopped mid-thought, his eyes widening as he noticed the other Z Fighters were there as well. Oh... They followed me... He realized, his eyes narrowing as he turned around to head the other way. No matter... I'll just head the other way and-

Android 20's eyes widened a bit further as he noticed Tien standing not too far away. Okay... Fine. I'll just maneuver back where I came from...

Android 20 stopped again, seeing Krillin standing where he had been located only moments ago. Why the hell is he even here?! 20 thought angrily, narrowing his eyes as he spied Piccolo floating up ahead. Then again... At my age, I could use more greens in my diet... He mused, chuckling to himself before seeing an even easier target on the rocks to his left.

Ah yes, even better... Android 20 thought, smirking as he observed the purple haired woman looking around at the terrain below, completely unaware of what was about to happen next. Yes, I will steal the energy from these pathetic fools one by one... Then Vegeta is mine! Heh heh heh...

Luna sighed as she continued her search, hopping to another taller rock before checking the area around her. "This is ridiculous..." She mumbled, jumping off the boulder she was standing on before hovering closer to the smaller rocks below. "He doesn't need food or water... He could hide out here for days!" She realized, narrowing her eyes as she looked for any sign of him.

Just as she was about to give up and try somewhere else, two hands shot out from the shadows, one them clamping over her mouth as the other wrapped it's way around her arms. A muffled scream left her throat as Android 20 smirked, feeling a good amount of energy within her.

"Well my dear... It seems that you have found me." 20 stated simply, lifting her up so her feet dangled off the ground as she continued to struggle in his grasp. "Heh heh heh... It is pointless to resist..." He went on, laughing to himself as he felt her putting up less and less of a fight. "You are already too weak to stop me... Ah, yes! This is invigorating! I should have done this sooner! Hahahaha!"

No! No... Luna thought in a panic, feeling weaker by the second as she felt the energy leaving her body. S-somebody... Help! She screamed internally, kicking her legs as the Android laughed behind her.

"Don't worry... It is almost over..."

Just when she thought she was about to pass out, someone knocked her free, sending Android 20 skidding across the dirt and catching her before she fell as Luna looked up in surprise.

"Gohan!" She coughed, smiling at the boy who was glaring at the android in front of them briefly before trying to stand on her own again. Luna stumbled a bit, falling to her knees as she tried to catch her breath.

"Thanks Gohan... He stole a good bit of energy from me..." She huffed, seeing everyone else arrive on the scene as Android 20 slowly got to his feet, his human-like brain completely exposed now that his hat was gone.

Gohan frowned, helping her stand as Krillin floated down to where they were, bag of senzu beans in hand. Android 20 narrowed his eyes, noticing the nasty glares Piccolo, Tien and Vegeta were sending his way as he watched the mysterious woman suddenly regain her strength.

"Thanks Krillin!" Luna smiled, standing up and stretching before hovering a few inches off the ground and staring right at the white haired android. "Nowhere to hide now..." She taunted, noticing that they all had him completely surrounded.

"So... The whole gang is here..." 20 commented, looking around at each of them with contempt. "No matter... I have gathered enough energy to destroy all of you..."

"Get over yourself..." Vegeta growled, smirking confidently as he stared down the other fighter. "Well, shall we start where we left off? As I recall, we were about to fight when you ran away!"

I still need to steal more energy to be assured a victory... 20 realized, narrowing his eyes at the Saiyan as he formulated a plan.

Suddenly, Piccolo blasted forward, stopping a good distance away from the android before removing his weighted hat and cape and tossing them to the side.

"Stay out of this one Vegeta..." Piccolo warned, looking at the android dangerously before continuing. "I owe him... He's mine." He said lowly, enjoying the panicked expression on the elderly looking man's face. "If he manages to get by me, then he's all yours... How does that grab you?"

"Tch, I don't care if you want to fight him... I don't even care if you get yourself killed." Vegeta stated simply, crossing his arms as he glared at the other man. "But I do care if he manages to steal more of someone's energy and makes himself even stronger! So just keep that in mind while you're having your little fun... Got it?" He finished in a hiss, looking at Piccolo seriously as everyone watched in silence.

"Yeah... I got it." Piccolo answered, turning his attention towards his opponent. "I'll make sure that doesn't happen again..."

Piccolo... Luna thought, clasping her hands together nervous as she watched him stare down the android as an awkward silence filled the battlefield.

Well... I will make sure that it does happen... 20 thought, the corners of his mouth turning up as he smirked at the Namekian across from him. Yes... This is the opportunity I was looking for-

Before Android 20 could finish his thought, Piccolo disappeared from sight before reappearing a second later right in front of his face. The white haired man only had time to widen his eyes in shock before a vicious kick sent him flying backwards before sailing right past Vegeta and slamming into a large rock.

"Heh..." Vegeta laughed, smirking as he watched the machine pull himself from the rubble.

"Man..." Krillin mumbled, Luna and Gohan watching in shock as well before the smaller Saiyan cheered.

"Haha! Yeah!"

Android 20 flew forward slowly, a murderous glare on his face as he suddenly rushed towards Piccolo. "RrgghhAHH!" He shouted, aiming a punch at his face before swinging through thin air.

"Wh-what?" 20 mumbled in confusion, looking around before his eyes landed on Vegeta.

The Prince of all Saiyans merely smirked, nodding his head upwards as Android 20 looked in the same direction before Piccolo's elbow came crashing down against his face. The blow sent the white haired man flying into the rocks below, dust and debris shooting up as he connected with the ground. 20 looked up at the Namekian angrily as he refused to back down. He flew forward again, both of them going head to head in mid air as Piccolo blocked every punch and kick that was sent his way. 20 growled in annoyance, throwing his fist forward suddenly as Piccolo disappeared once again.

"Here I am!" The Namekian shouted, appearing behind the white haired man before landing a kick that sent him crashing against multiple boulders.

The rock formations crumbled to the ground causing a wave of dust to shoot up as everyone guarded their eyes. 20 saw his opportunity, using the clouds of smoke and dust as cover as he charged towards the green fighter with an evil smirk on his face.

"H-he grabbed him!" Gohan said worriedly, making Luna gasp in shock as she tried to see past all the dust that was currently obscuring everyone's vision.

"Piccolo!" She shouted, hearing nothing in response as everyone waited for the air to clear.

Suddenly, it was more apparent what was going on in front of them as Luna squinted towards both fighters, finally smiling happily when she saw that Piccolo was okay. "Piccolo's got him!" Luna cheered, throwing one fist in the air as everyone else smirked confidently.

The Namekian had a cocky grin on his face as he held Android 20's wrist firmly in his grasp, making it impossible for the older man to get away. "You just can't get enough can you?" Piccolo questioned, glaring down at the machine condescendingly before smirking.

"Rrgh... You... All of you are going to die! Do you hear me?! Mark my words..." Android 20 growled, using everyone ounce of strength within him as he tried to free himself from the larger man's grasp.

"You know... I used to be like you..." Piccolo commented seriously, getting Luna's attention as she listened in. "One day you'll learn... That the more you hurt others, the harder your life becomes... It's simple... Your desire to kill is killing you!" He finished in a growl, yanking Android 20 up by his arm as the machine watched him with wide eyes.

Without another word, Piccolo used his other hand to slice right through the white haired man's arm, severing the limb right below the elbow. Android 20 screamed in pain as he stumbled back, glancing back and forth from his mutilated arm to the warrior in front of him who was still holding onto his detached hand.

"It's a darn shame... You could have put this hand to good use... What a waste of technology..." Piccolo went on, smirking in amusement as he crushed the artificial limb in his grip before tossing it aside carelessly.

"Alright! History is changed!" Gohan cheered, jumping up and hugging Luna as she chuckled. "We're going to make it through this without losing anyone! Yes!"

Luna smiled, genuinely relived that their worries about the androids were now over. Though, she couldn't understand what Piccolo had meant when he said he used to be like Android 20 somehow...

There's no way... Luna thought, shaking her head before glancing up at the Namekian floating above them. Piccolo could never have anything in common with these monsters...

Before she could dwell on that thought too much, everyone's attention was drawn back to the fight above them as Piccolo effortlessly slammed Android 20 into the rocks below once more.

"N-no... I do not understand..." 20 mumbled, pulling himself out of the dirt as he stared up at the fighters above him with wide eyes. "My data indicates that their abilities could not have improved this much... H-how is it possible then that he should cause me this much difficulty?!"

"Your data probably would have been accurate if we hadn't been warned about your arrival three years before you got here." Piccolo commented, figuring there was no harm in saying anything about it now. "In other words, we knew you were coming... So we got all of our ducks in a row." He finished with a chuckle, staring down at the android who was clearly confused.

"Ducks...? That makes no sense! What do you mean?"

Piccolo frowned, glaring at the man seriously before explaining. "I mean that we've been preparing for you my friend..."

"Rrgh..."

"Yeah, thank goodness for that!" Krillin commented before sighing happily, "Dying is such a bummer..."

"I'll bet..." Gohan piped up, nodding as Tien had to agree.

"Yeah... I've been down that road..." He said, smirking at the android below them before continuing. "This time around I wouldn't mind growing old and doing it the natural way..." He chuckled, smiling over at his friends as Luna thought about what passing on would be like.

I'll have to ask them about it sometime... She thought, remembering that a good amount of them were alive now only because of the wishes made on the dragon balls. Goku, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo... Even Vegeta died once... Luna thought, looking over at the Saiyan as he finally decided to speak up.

"How about the coup de gras Piccolo..." The Saiyan said, crossing his arms in front of him as he turned his chin up a bit. "Or do I have to step in and handle it?"

"No. This is my job..." The Namekian answered, glaring at the white haired man below him as he knew what he had to do. "I know if the tables were turned, this guy wouldn't hesitate... Believe me, no problem!" Piccolo smirked, about to deliver the final blow when everyone stopped, exchanging looks of confusion as they all felt a large power level heading right for them.

"Huh?"

"Over there!" Krillin commented, pointing towards a figure in the distance approaching quickly.

"Yeah, but who?" Gohan questioned, squinting towards the mysterious person as they drew closer and closer.

"Trunks is back!" Luna cheered suddenly, waving to the younger boy happily as he stopped a few feet away from Vegeta. "Hi!"

Huh? Trunks...? Vegeta thought, the gears inside his mind turning as he slowly put all of the pieces together. How bizarre... He has the same name as my son... Wait a second... A Super Saiyan from the future... O-of course! It has to be! He... He's MY son! Unbelievable! Vegeta realized, completely mind blown as he stared at the boy in shock.

I see it but I don't believe it... Trunks thought nervously, staring at Android 20 while thinking back to what he saw in the crater not too far from here. This one's different too...

Rrgh... Now what? Not another one... Android 20 panicked, looking up at the lavender haired boy who had just arrived. I don't have any data at all on this one either... What is going on here?! He thought in confusion, realizing what his next actions needed to be. The chances for my survival in this situation are slim at best... I have made far too many errors in my calculations... It would be wise for me to return to the lab at once...

"Even though I've never seen him before... I can tell that he's one of Dr. Gero's creations..." Trunks mumbled quietly, glaring down at the white haired man before Vegeta spoke up.

"Say what?! What do you mean you haven't seen him before?" He asked, frowning at the boy before continuing. "Isn't he one of the androids you warned us about?"

"...No." Trunks answered, making a chill run down Luna's spine as everyone continued to listen. "This one's different..."

"W-what! How could he be different?" Piccolo asked suddenly, not liking where this was going...

"I... I'm not sure..." Trunks said slowly, trying to find the right words to explain.

"Wait... You mean... These aren't the androids?!" Krillin asked suddenly, staring at the lavender haired boy in shock as everyone else did the same.

Trunks just narrowed his eyes, staring down at the white haired android below all of them as he tried to make sense of what was going on.

"No... Nonsense!" Vegeta growled, glaring at the younger Saiyan next to him when he didn't respond. "If that's not the android you warned us about, then who is it?!"

"Hey Vegeta... Cut the kid a little slack, would you?" Luna commented, sending a small frown his way before sighing. "So a few of the things he told us changed... Maybe this did too! We found two androids... Just like he said we would..." She went on, hoping she was right as she looked at the worried expression on the lavender haired boy's face. "Does it really matter that they don't look the same?"

"I hope you're right..." Tien mumbled, thinking about how awful it would be if everything they had just gone through was for nothing...

It is time I return to the laboratory... 20 thought seriously, backing up slightly while looking for any possible way out. If I try to fly through them, they are bound to capture me... I must hasten my retreat! If I do not repair myself soon I will be finished... The android thought with a frown, glancing down at his stub of an arm that was still leaking oil.

Just then, the sound of something flying above them all got their attention as Krillin's eyes widened in shock before he spoke up.

"Look! There's Bulma and Yajirobe!"

"Huh?!" Luna stammered, spinning around quickly before looking a little pale. "What is she doing here?!"

Vegeta just glared up at the ship that was flying towards them angrily as Bulma waved to them all through the glass window.

"What are you doing?! Don't come down here!" Trunks shouted, beginning to panic as Android 20 smirked.

And there's my door... The white haired man thought, gathering a balul of pink energy in his hands before speaking. "Enjoy this short lived victory while you are able!" He shouted, getting everyone's attention before laughing evilly. "For soon, I will unleash android's 17 and 18 to DESTROY YOU ALL!" He finished in a roar, launching his attack right towards Bulma's ship...
