The fire roared behind her as Luna watched in horror while Yamcha's arms dropped to his side, the taller android's hand still sticking out of the fighter's back as she sensed his energy literally being drained from him. Time seemed to move in slow motion as she gasped, watching as the android yanked his arm back out of her friend, fresh blood from the wound staining the ground beneath them.

Luna backed up slowly, letting out a terrified scream as Android 19 stepped closer...

Not too far away...

Goku ran through the streets, stopping suddenly as he sensed something was very wrong. He looked in the direction of the power level that was slowly fading, jumping into the air before taking off quickly.

Tien frowned, sensing the same thing as he headed that way as well. "Someone's power level is draining... But whos?" He mumbled, knowing he would have his answer soon...

"I've got to hurry!" Piccolo said to himself, flying towards where he sensed the disturbance. He flared his ki, enabling himself to fly faster as he blasted across the city, hoping he wasn't too late...

Android 19 smirked evilly as he took another step closer, his twisted smile growing as Luna inched back nervously, tripping over a piece of rubble before falling backwards. She looked up with wide eyes, seeing the fat android's face glaring down at her as his eyes flashed red.

"Subject unknown... Subject unknown..."19 frowned, taking another step forward as he attempted to scan her again. Luna just sat there, shaking as she tried to stand but for some reason, her legs didn't seem to be working... 

W-what's going on? I- I can't move! She thought, panicking as she stared into the emotionless face of the android above her, feeling Yamcha's energy getting dangerously low. What Trunks said... It... It's coming true... And I'm going to be next...

Android 19 frowned, looking up for a second before jumping back as someone landed in front of Luna.

"T-Tien!" She said happily, stumbling to her feet as she sensed her other friends coming closer as well. Just as she was getting back up, Piccolo, Krillin and Goku all arrived on the scene, gasping in shock when they saw Yamcha's limp body still being held up by the android.

"Oh no! Yamcha!" Goku shouted, anger lacing his tone as he watched the white haired man glare back coldly. Goku growled as the android tossed Yamcha's body aside carelessly, all of them waiting for what would happen next as the Saiyan knew he had to act fast.

"Krillin listen! There's still a chance to save him!" Goku said quickly, looking over at his friend for a moment as he stared back in shock. "Take him back to Bulma and give him one of the senzu beans! Go now! As fast as you can!"

"I'm on it!" Krillin nodded, stepping forward cautiously as he picked Yamcha up. The bald fighter frowned, seeing how close to death the man was as he knew he really had to hurry.

"I should go with him..." Luna mumbled, looking over at Goku and Piccolo as she watched them frown.

"No... We need you with us." Goku stated seriously, looking over at Krillin. "I'm counting on you Krillin!"

"Right!" Krillin answered, flying off towards the cliff where Bulma was as fast as possible.

Luna looked down, frowning as she saw all the blood on the ground... Yamcha's blood. She clenched her fists as her sides, embarrassed about the fact that she became so paralyzed by her fear earlier. It won't happen again...

"So these are the big bad androids?" Piccolo asked in his deep voice, glaring at both of them as he went on. "Kind of funny looking if you ask me..."

Android 20's eyes widened for a moment as he made a sound of surprise. "Hmpf... Well now, I find it surprising that you should know we are androids... Of course, I find it even more surprising that all of you should have anticipated our arrival on this island..." He said slowly, looking around at Piccolo, Goku, Luna and Tien respectively. "Tell me, how did you know we would come?"

"Rrgh... If you're so tough, why don't you try to make us?" Piccolo growled, not really wanting to have a civil conversation with such monsters.

Android 20 just stared back emotionlessly before replying. "Very well..."

All four Z Fighters got into a fighting stance, waiting for whatever attack was about to come as both androids slowly walked closer.

"There's way too many innocent people around here..." Goku whispered, making Luna and Piccolo glance over at him. "We've got to lead these two out of the city!"

"Yes..." Android 20 said in agreement, surprising all of them as they watched the strange looking man continue. "It is too crowded here... Many people could get in our way... I will see to it that they do not."

"Huh?" Goku gasped, his eyes going wide as he was unprepared for what happened next.

Android 20's eyes glowed a bright red for a moment before shooting beams of energy forward as Goku and Tien jumped back. Piccolo jumped to the side, grabbing Luna in the process as they heard explosions all around them. Android 20 showed no mercy, leaving no house or building unscathed as he blew each one apart in a matter of seconds. Android 19 smirked as he watched his comrade having fun, enjoying the sounds of destruction before Goku growled, leaping into action to stop him.

"Noooo!" Goku shouted, punching the white haired android straight in the face, knocking his cylinder like hat off in the process. Both of them froze, looking at each other with murderous expressions as Goku's eyes went wide as he saw what was under the hat...

Luna turned around, looking behind her as she gasped, seeing a huge portion of the city in ruins. "So many people..." She mumbled, sensing for any signs of life as she looked towards all the wreckage. Just then her ears picked up on something as she took off, hearing her friends shouting behind her.

"Mommy! Mommy!" A little girl cried, rubbing her eyes as she looked around desperately for her mother. Sections of burning building were falling down everywhere as Luna raced towards the sound of the tiny voice. The purple haired woman smiled as she spotted her, racing down and scooping her up just in time to avoid a piece of concrete as it smashed into the ground where she had been standing seconds ago.

Luna looked down, seeing an older woman looking around frantically as she floated down in front of her as the child in her arms shouted happily.

"Mommy!" The little girl cried, launching herself into the dark haired woman's arms before hugging her tightly.

"Thank you... Thank you so much!" The woman said, holding her child closely as she looked into her eyes. "Thank you..."

"Get out of here... Hurry!" Luna ordered, nodding at them both seriously before taking off back towards Goku and the others...

"You monster!" Goku shouted, never wanting this battle to happen like this as he watched Android 20 pick up his hat calmly.

"I cleared the area of innocents in accordance with your wishes..." He said casually, adjusting the cap on his head as he looked at the Saiyan in front of him. "Do you disagree with my methods?"

"Rrgh... Leave these people out of this!" Goku shouted, frowning as he fought to keep himself calm.

"There are no people left to leave out." Android 19 chimed in happily, smiling creepily at Luna as she landed near them.

"Don't just take off like that!" Piccolo growled, frowning down at her as she looked over apologetically.

"I know... It's just, there was-"

"Hmpf... It seems I missed a few..." Android 20 said simply, cutting her off as Luna looked back at him with a frown. "What a shame..."

Goku growled, shaking with rage the more he listened to the heartless man in front of him speak.

"Very well... You may lead us to another place of your choosing... Goku." Android 20 said calmly, uttering the Sayian's name as if it left a bad taste in his mouth.

"Huh?!"

"H-how did you know his name was Goku?" Tien mumbled, looking shocked along with everyone else.

"I know all of you..." 20 said seriously before looking at each one of them individually. "The Namek, Piccolo... And even you, the one named Tien..." He said simply before his eyes landed on Luna. "The only one who remains a mystery is you... But soon enough, it won't matter anymore..."

Luna looked back at both of them with a harsh glare, noticing that 19 seemed to be frowning intensely in her direction before the sound of sirens filled her ears. Multiple hover cars with flashing lights zipped down nearby streets as Goku knew they had to get these two out of here quickly.

"Let's get acquainted later..." The Saiyan growled, powering up before glaring at Android 20. "Follow me!"

All of them jumped up after Goku, taking off behind him and the two androids as they flew to a less populated location.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city...

"D-Did the androids do that?" Bulma asked quietly, her blue eyes wide with fear as she watched large clouds of smoke and ash billow up from the buildings below. She held Trunks tighter as she tried to distract herself from the thought of how many people were hurt down there...

Gohan growled, clenching his fists as his side as Krillin and Yajirobe watched with frowns on their faces.

"It's them all right..." Yamcha said seriously, looking at all the damage. "It looks like they just blew up half the city!"

"Yeah, no kidding..." Gohan said sadly, looking at all of his friends as they remained silent.

"I just don't know how we're going to stop them you guys..." Yamcha mumbled, "I hope Goku knows what to do..."

"Look! There he is! It's my dad!" Gohan shouted, pointing up at the figures flying away from the city.

"And the androids!" Yamcha added nervously, noticing the two extra people with them.

"Huh?!" Krillin gasped before realizing what was going on. "Goku's leading them away from the city..."

"Oh no! We've gotta warn him somehow you guys!" Yamcha said suddenly, "He doesn't know the androids can absorb his energy!"

Gohan's eyes went wide for a moment as Krillin spoke up. "Yamcha, I don't get it... You said the androids could absorb powers?"

Yamcha sighed, thinking about it for a moment before answering. "I don't know how he did it, but when the android grabbed me, I could feel all the energy being drained from my body..."

"Well what in the world are you waiting for?" Bulma questioned, a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Get moving before those nasty androids grab someone else!"

"There's no time to lose... Come on, we've gotta warn my dad!" Gohan shouted, powering up as he prepared to take off.

"I- I'm not so sure I want to go back down there Gohan..." Yamcha admitted, having a hard time saying the words himself. "I mean, I almost bit the big one last time... Maybe I should stay here..."

Without another word, Gohan took off with Krillin shouting after him. The bald fighter stopped, turning around for a moment before leaving. "You stay here then... But I've gotta help." He finished, holding up the small cloth bag in his hand. "I'm taking the senzu beans... Gohan, wait up!" Krillin shouted, both of them blasting forward in the direction the other had gone as Bulma, Yamacha and Yajirobe watched them leave in silence.

"Those two don't have the foggiest idea what they're up against..." Yamcha mumbled, touching his chest lightly as he remembered what had happened to him. "And I know what those androids can do... No....... I won't let what happened to me happen to anyone else..." He went on, thinking about all of his friends that were out there right now, risking their lives to keep everyone on this planet safe. "I've got to help my friends... Wait up guys, I'm coming!" The dark haired fighter shouted, before taking off as well.

"Huh... Yamcha's dumber than he looks." Yajirobe said evenly, his expression never changing as Bulma looked over.

"You mean... You're not going to go with them?"

"Not on your life babe." Yajirobe answered quickly, making the blue haired woman frown.

"And why not?! From what I hear Yajirobe... You're a pretty good fighter and they need all the help they can get!" Bulma said seriously, glaring down at the shorter man as Trunks did the same. "So I suggest you quit being a coward and get yourself into gear!"

"Can't do it."

"I am tired of hearing your lame excuses! Get down there and help out your buddies NOW!"

"I don't know how to fly Bulma." Yajirobe said finally, irritation lacing his tone as he crossed his arms in front of himself while the scientist looked back in shock.

"Oh."
