Faded Light:

It filters and falters and flickers,

Am I spiraling upwards or just out of control?

Is this life losing itself or just me?

Waking up in pearly smooth water,

No panic or mistake,

She chose to float eternity's boat,

Rather than witness her lover's faded light,

To a fool's madness and rage,

Premature Apple-tasting,

Garden of Eden never closes,

Snakes never stop their seducing,

Yet she swayed in a turquoise abyss,

Waiting for the last wave to engulf her,

Filling her lungs with chartreuse waters,

To hydrate the soils of ses poumons,

Lest her roses shrivel and die out,

Light flickered through prisms and drops,

Kaleidoscopic rainbows smile,

Goodbye, she bid Hamlet,

Ophelia's flickering, faded light,

Until their next meeting in the rebirth,
