The engine roars

The rain pours

The lightening strikes

The passing of speeding bikes

The Night is dark

Hearing the dogs bark

I stand numb

Life deaf and dumb

Everyone with money is busy

This hustle makes me dizzy

Where did the peace get lost?

Not even a penny it does cost.

Again the engine roars,

This time People leaving for family tours.

The sun shines bright,

Filling life's with happiness and light.

Hearing all the families laugh

My tensions become half

In My heart heart joy does pile

On my face is the brightness smile!

Peace will have to return

Materialism will have to burn!!
