"Well, that was... interesting." Sophie said, still giggly. Biana snorted," If that's what you call it." Dex and Fitz were quiet. Sophie didn't understand why Dex was so upset. First of all, he is her best friend and second of all, he is also technically her cousin. But she knew that he has had a crush on her for a while. Probably before the star collecting incident. But Fitz, he was the one that was going to kiss her for the dare. He wanted to kiss her. And she wanted to kiss him. But Keefe stole that. She wasn't so giggly anymore. She was mad at him again. Her first kiss was ruined. It sa perfect in so many ways, but he still ruined it. She was definitly mad. And so was Biana. She was steaming. "You knew how I felt about him. And then you hurt him and the KISS him!" Biana yelled. " I couldn't control the inflicting and I couldn't control what he did," said Sophie quietly. "Maybe you could," said Fitz, finally talking." Maybe you got another rare ability and mesmerized him." Sophie couldn't believe he had said that. "I think I would know that. And if I would mesmerize someone to kiss me, it would be you!" She covered her mouth, enough said.

"I knew it." He whispered, smiling. "Let's just go back to the sleepover,"said Biana, torn between smiling for the new thing to gossip about, or frowning because of Keefe. "Ok," said Sophie. "And remember, I am NOT a Mesmer." Dex was still quiet. Gazing and glaring at her at the same time. "We believe you," he said, finally smiling. You had to smile back when yoh saw those dimples. Everyone smiled back at him, even Fitz and then went back to the fort. They started joking around but it wasn't the same without Keefe.

Grady came up to check on them. "Where is Keefe?" He asked. "He said he had to do something," Fitz lied, when no one said anything. "He's probably thinking of a prank to pull on Stina or something." They all laughed, thinking of the time Stina was wrinkly and smelled like feet for a week because of Keefe. That was definitley funny." So what have you guys been doing this whole time?" Grady asked. "We played truth or dare, had some snacks and now we are telling jokes and stories," said Sophie. It was true. No one mentioned the "almost kiss", Sophie passing out, inflicting or kissing Keefe. That was fine with them. Grady left after he told them supper would be soon. Then, a scroll popped out of no where. Out at ten, it said. They thought it meant go to sleep at ten. But Sophie saw a little black swan symbol and some runes that she could actually read. They said, watch where yoy stand and listen to the dream. She ignored it. She would just show it to Alden when she told about the memory flashes.

They ate supper and then aged different card games in the fort.Later, they went outside and Sophie taught them how ton play Ghosts in the Graveyard. They went upstairs to the fort, tired out, and fell asleep. The next day they had a giant breakfast of green mush and purple tubers that tasted like eggs and bacon. Everyone ended up staying and played Base Quest. No one went near the caves, especially Sophie because of the kidnappers and the dream about Fitz dying on the pointy rocks. Her friends went home after all the games with Dex. They had school the next day.Time to see Keefe, Sophie thought.
