Chapter 15
"What?" Yelled Fitz. "You think you can just come, even after all this that has happened!?" He shook his head yes, with a smug grin. "Well fine," Dad said finally, since all Fitz was doing was glaring at him. "Dude, I can feel your emotions, like Foster and just relax. Seriously." Fitz glared at him still. At least he wasn't inflicting him. "Are we going or what?" Asked Fitz. "We are going." Fitz walked over to his dad and grabbed his hand. Keefe was about to grab Fitz's hand but they pulled it away. He grabbed Dad's hand instead. They leaped and started looking.
"I know a way I can help. Foster will probably be feeling scared, so I can see if I can feel her feelings." He looked proud to have thought of that. "Fine," Fitz agreed," We'll work together, I guess." They went to the sewers because Keefe said he was feeling something and Fitz said he could hear something. They kept looking and heard a faint yelling. But once they got to the sound, they saw an unconscious Sophie, laying in the water. We found her, transmitted Fitz to his Dad, a little to loud because he flinched. Great ,son, he thought. We are on our way.Transmit where you are.
Once he did, he went over to Sophie, to try and wake her up. Inflicting happiness and love wasn't even working. Then figures in black appeared out of nowhere and Fitz inflicted them. He growled and inflicted rage. Then he inflicted hate. Once they were flailing around, there was light in the tunnel and his dad was there with the Councilors. "We've got to get her to Elwin. Do you think you can teleport,Fitz? She isn't well enough to leap." Fitz answered, almost crying," I-I don't know how." His dad answered,"Fitz, it's all right. Maybe she can teach you once she's better," his voice cracked, like he was trying to no cry," at least I brought a nexus, just in case." He put the nexus on Sophie and then picked her up like she weighed nothing. Fitz grabbed his home crystal and Keefe's hand. The Councilors would be meeting them at Everglen.
