Silent treatment
/ˈsʌɪlənt/ /ˈtriːtm(ə)nt/
Verb
1. an act of completely ignoring a person or thing by resort to silence especially as a means of expressing contempt or disapproval.
2. a refusal to communicate verbally with someone who desires the communication.
That had been what Lou was giving Ox the last couple of weeks.
One woukd expect him to feel bad, but he didn't. Ox deserved it (at least from his perspective).
He had kept this from him, and now he expected him to forgive him?
Lou would rather burn in the furnace than do that.
And he did mean by what he said, as the said bunny walked into the room, and tried to get his attention.
"Hey Lou.."
He silently snorted at the pathetic attempt. It might get ridiculous, but he didn't care.
He just couldn't talk to the other right now.
Can be just leave me alone?.. He thought bitterly. Everytime he says something, it's either a lie, or something damaging...
The thought wasn't really a lie, it was true. Ox had lied on more than one occasion, Lou was sick of it.
But apart of him also wanted to forgive the other, it told him that he hadn't meant to. And maybe he didn't, but he still made the choice of doing it.
Choices matter in everyone's lifetime, and you need to take the time to think on how it will affect those around you. There are consequences for the wrong decisions.
And Lou was making his right now. He knew that it was hurting Ox, but now he knew how he felt.
The abandonment. The betrayal. He remembered it.
No one coukd erase it from his mind. It was sealed there for him to remember.
Was he being selfish? Probably.
But Lou found himself wanting to apologize. After all, they had been brothers. That was what he remembered anyway.
But why had Ox never come to visit?
Was there something wrong with Lou? Did he do anything to deserve it? What exactly had he done, then?
And what exactly is a prototype?...
It had been bugging him all day, he knew what it was. But his head wasn't coming up with anything.
Why? Why wouldn't the answer just come to him?!
Stupid memory loss.
Wait, there was one person who seemed to be afraid of Lou.
Nolan.
He could get the defintion off him!
It was either that, or try to talk to Ox.
Hell no, he'd do the first one.
Ox would come later, the defintion of his origin came now.
But he knew that Nolan was under Moxy's orders, he wasn't stupid. Plus they all thought that he didn't hear their little talk on the day he got here.
Stupid dolls...
There was one good thing about this place. The colours, the decor..
Mandy.
God dammit, he couldn't get her out of his head. What was wrong with him?
He couldn't help the feeling that came when he was around her. It was as if she made him feel normal.
She was perfect.
Then, Lou felt something in him bristle from that word.
Why did it bother him that much?
His mind buzzed at him, as if desperate to give him an answer. His body suddenly felt weak, as if he was going to faint again.
Shit.. Lou thought, he was in pain. A m-memory is coming back...
He could feel the world becoming fuzzy. He heard his breathing coming rapidly. The memory must have been important if he felt like this.
His head then showed it.
°FLASHBACK°
He was transported to what seemed to be the institute of perfection before he woke up there.
It was beautiful, and full of life. Then, he saw the scene in front of him.
Lou (the memory one) was currently laughing his head off at these dolls that were in front of him.
He was laughing at these ugly, less perfect dolls than him. He honestly didn't expect anyone to laugh along, but he couldn't care less.
"Moxy, before we do this.." Luckybat told her. "Shouldn't we tell Ox?"
His copy then held out a hand to stop the laughter. Ox, could it really be?
Lou was also surprised, these ugky dolls had come here? Huh, they had guts.
"Ox?" The two Lou's were surprised. "Who is...Ox?"
Luckybat grinned at him. "Well, he's the founder and mayor of our town, where we live."
"So?.." Lou watched as his copy became nervous. "There's a town of...uglies?"
"It's called Uglyville!.." Moxy shouted proudly.
They heard Lydia comment. "I guess their into literal naming"
Lou looked at her, disgusted by her comment. How come the memory him wasn't doing anything about this?!
He would slap her if he could, but he was like a ghost. He was just there, and couldn't be seen.
"It doesn't matter." His copy told them, shaking himself from his stupor. "Only Perfect Dolls can run the Gauntlet. Rules are rules~.."
"What rules?!" Moxy challenged.
His copy swallowed nervously, but then a bot appeared. "Well, it says right here in section 20!-"
Lou chuckled as the other slammed the book closed, that was actually pretty funny. "You know what, stay here"
"Seriously?"
"What kind of amazingly benevolent leader would I be if I denied fellow dolls a chance to fulfill their dreams?" Lou clapped his hands together. "Mandy, show our special guests their quarters. May I suggest the..supply suit?"
Lou didn't like the tone the other had, wasn't that a shed?!
He beckoned Moxy over who obeyed.
"I've a reputation to maintain, so I'll let you skate by this time," Lou whispered. "Enjoy this moment, because it doesn't get better than this."
Lou heard her gulp in fear, and she went after the others.
He couldn't hear anything else, because he was suddenly pulled from the memeory, the pain returning from earlier.
The last thing he saw was his copy standing there with the spy girls who had evil smirks on their faces.
°FLASHBACK END°
When Lou's right returned, he was confused. What was that memory supposed to show him?
Was ir because the memory him teeated them like crap there? Was it supposed to show him some kind of system? What the hell was the message?
He did get one thing though, he was some kind of leader. It looked like he ran things there based his clothes, hair, and actions.
Besides, it was hard not to notice at how mindless the pretty dolls were. It looked like there was no intelligence in them whatsoever (save Nolan and the spy girls. Tuesday didn't count as she looked to be a total airhead).
Lou let out a shaky sigh. A part of him wanted to leave Ox's house, it wanted to go to Nolan's, it wanted to know the truth.
But the other..He bit his lip, it wanted to stay here, to hear what Ox wanted to say, to trust the rabbit again. After all, once upon a time, they were brothers.
He fekt something in his chest constrict at that. Shit, Ox had the power to make him feel guilty even when he wasn't here.
Dammit, Lou was going to go to him.
Now, all he had to do was find where the other went a few minutes ago.
This was going to be a hard find.

Nervous
/ˈnəːvəs/
Adjective
1. unnaturally or acutely uneasy or apprehensive: to become nervous under stress.
2. becoming easily excited and reacts quickly to things in a way that shows they are not relaxed.
Lou was nervous. After all, apologizing was something he normally didn't do.
Well, he didn't know if he didn't knkw if he did it often in his past since he didn't remember much.
He bit his lip. Shit, he was not good at this thing. Would Ox forgive him?
Well, he seemed desperate to get Lou to talk. So the possibility of forgiveness was very high.
Thank God.
Lou sighed, this was going to be hard. Even though Ox deserved his silence, the guilt outweighed the satisfaction, and he found himself at Moxy's house.
The dorr was left open, so Lou took that as his invitation to go inside (Moxy didn't mind anyone gling in her house as long as it wasn't a psycho). Even he knew that it was dangerous to allow that, but the pink doll scared the hell out of him.
"O-Ox?" He stuttered, and Lou heard talking from the living room. He silently went to the wall to hear what they were saying.
It was Moxy and Ox talking.
"I thought I said that the truth needed to be hidden.." Moxy told Ox. "Lou needs to be reformed if he hopes to stay here.."
"I know what he did was hurtful, Moxy.." He told her gentky. "But he lost his memories, he doesn't remember anything!"
"Do I look like I give a shit?!" She swore, and Lou flinched at that. "Lou has done things that have traumatized me! And worst of all, Mandy is in love with him! Can you blame me for being a little angry?!..."
The question was rhetorical, both Ox and Lou knew that.
But he was confused, what had Lou done that would have made her pissed? Damn memory loss.
He had the feeling that it was extreme though, like something beyond the brink of death. As if she was out in that situation and she was lucky to be alive today.
Now that Lou had a proper look at her, Moxy seemed fo be emotionally drained, as if there was an invisible weight on her shoulders. He felt guilt begin to settle in, had he been to harsh on her?
She had been attempting to gain his trust a little bit, but he pushed her away out of hostility and fear (not that she coukd blame him, she was one of the reasons he had a panic attack when he got here).
Yeah, Moxy was probably going to kill him when she saw him enter the room. But he needed to see Ox.
Weighing his options, Lou decided that he could probably take on a doll that size came up to just over his stomach, and with a nervous breath, he knocked on the living room door (which was wide open).
Oh God, Lou could just feel the vendetta radiating off Moxy. Her eyes burned holes into him, and he knew that he wasn't welcome at the moment.
But he still needed to talk to Ox, any thoughts on her were put away when he saw his brother in front of him.
Shocked eyes landed on him. "Lou?.."
There was hope in his response, like he was afraid he wouldn't reposnd, but Ox allowed himself to think he would.
And Lou did respond. "Hey Ox, hey Moxy. Is it alright if I talk to him?"
Oh God, how she wanted to beat the ever living crap out of him. But Moxy knew better. Even if Lou had robots at the institute, he coukd still defend himself. He had shown it at the...the..the..frick...She couldn't even think of the place.
"Fine.." She got up, but her eyes burned into his. "I'll be in my room.."
Lou got the message clear: Do not harm Ox.
Ha, the bitch could go fuck herself. He would never harm him.
He sighed, and sat on Moxy's sofa while Ox was sat on a chair.
"I.." He paused. "I want to apologize for the way I've been acting, you deserve to talk. So, I'll let you talk, but I deserve an explanation for the lies. No lying, no games, no bullshit. Deal?.."
Ox was slightly surprised at the language, but still answered. "Sure, deal.."
Lou knew that the tone was sincere, and he felt himself trusting the other. "Talk.."
"Well, it started years ago.." Ox started. "I came to the institute, but was bullied by the other dolls. After a while, I met you, and we became friends, I dare say like brothers. But then the bullying got worse, and I wanted to leave for the big world. A week later, you woke me from my sleep, and said that 'I coukd go somewhere to be happy'..I believed you, and promised I visit. But, my past self didn't for some reason, I feel so stupid. I was selfish. I'm sorry, Lou.."
The other looked at him, the sadness and the regret clear in his eyes. Lou felt himself smile.
"I forgive you, Ox.." He chuckled at the other's shocked face. "Thanks for the truth."
"Thanks, Lou!" The other hugged him, and he did it back. "Now, where are we going?"
"How?-"
Ox laughed. "Oh please, I know you. Who's the lucky guy or lady?"
Lou blushed. "Well, I'm goung to Mandy's.."
"Hell yeah! Get some boi!"
"Ox!" Lou blushed. "I'm not going for that, though we already did it.."
"No. Details.."
"Wasn't planning to tell.."
The brothers chuckled as they started to walk together, Lou ignored Moxy's glare. He didn't care right now.
He forgave Ox, that was what mattered right now.
Lou woukd worry about his other problems later..
