Singto landed at Khatgal Airport after 3 hrs..They were met at the airport by their designated driver,whom Singto decided to call Frank as he couldn't pronounce the Mongolian name, but it sounded similar to frank..

They were taken to an excellent bungalow and shown their rooms. Dae set about preparing dinner as they hadn't eaten.

Everyone met at the dinner table after freshening up. The food was simple yet delicious. Dumplings, soup and noodles.. Dae's cooking was amazing...

After dinner Frank informed Singto,that tomorrow he would take them around the town and company site...

Singto went to his room, he was tired and he needed his energy for tomorrow. And energy meant talking to P'Kit ofcourse..he set up his laptop and then connected his phone to video call the elder..

After tethering his USB, he waited for the network to come in..but no..his laptop was still on 'no network '.

He didn't want to disturb the others so he went down to the living room to check his network..it didn't work there either.. he groaned..then he saw the landline ..

He walked over and picked it up dialing Arthit's number..the elder picked it up..

"Hello, Dr. Arthit speaking.."

"P'Kit...it's me.."

"Tuan?? Where are u ? Wat happened to ur phone?" He sounded worried..

"I am in khatgal P'Kit..I tried to Skype u but there was no network. I just wanted to talk before going to sleep. I knew u would be worried. I reached safely.  My team s quite cool. We get along well. P'Wave s with me so don't worry about me ok.."

" U're asking me to do something impossible baby,but I ll try.. try to call each day and check in with me. Take care of urself. Don't give up in any situation ok?I know u can do it..su su naa"

" thanks P'Kit...without u I wouldn't be standing here right now.. from orphan to possible heir to billions.."

"U deserve it baby..finish the task, slay ur competition and comeback to me quickly.."

"I will P'..u be careful too..take care of urself and don't overwork. And while dealing with the bad guys be cautious..I ll worry for u"

"I ll be fine..P'Lee has it covered..it's a fool proof plan.."

"Ok..it's long distance and I won't put it past them to ask me to pay the bill..so I guess I gotta go now..Goodnight P'Kit.."

"Fan dii naa Tuan..sleep well..see u in our dreams. "

"Bye P..Fan dii.." Singto blushed..trust Arthit to lift his mood in a second..

The next morning...

The next  morning they had breakfast and then before going to the site, Singto called a short meeting on the porch with his team.

"P'Yong u said u knew the intern who found the flourspar here, can u arrange for me to meet him? And also P'Jane I want to meet the town representatives and know the reason for their opposition. Can this be arranged after the site visit?"

"Yes Hawhňā (chief) , I ll call the boy and let u know. " Yong said..

"I need to find who's incharge and set up, maybe Frank can help me, but it ll take after ur visit to arrange.  So how about early evening?" P' Jane checked and told him..

"Ok, P' but I need it to be today, pls make sure of it."

"Ok, "

And they left for the site..

The stretch of land was a good 300 acres of flat beautiful meadow with a part of a rocky mountain to one side of it..it was not to close to the town, quite a half hour's drive away so u could say it was far..

The scenery was beautiful and Singto kinda got why the ppl had put their foot against the factory..Him being a fine arts student couldn't help but admire the nature here..the colors were amazing too..the whole property was fenced with high electric fences and barbed wire to prevent trespassers.

As they drove around the land Singto saw a small cave through one part of the mountain..

"Can we go check out the cave Frank?" he asked curious..

"I don't think that's safe sir, here we have a lot of mountain rock bees that prefer these caves to build their hives. Their sting s very painful so the people stay away..I suggest you do too."

"Can u atleast drive closer..I want to take a peek inside. "He insisted..

Frank drove over and stopped at a flat place near the entrance to the small cave..Singto saw that there really were bees in there as a few were flying near the entrance. And also he could see a faint shimmer inside the cave..like water moist rocks.

After taking a good look he, asked Frank to turn around..

"So, the flourspar s in the mountain?" He asked Yong.

"Yes Hawhňā , it's inside the mountain, so basically we ll be breaking it down. That's one of the things they are protesting about. And the usual factory waste, chemicals,radiation, pollution etc."Yong answered.

"They don't understand that if we don't do it someone else will.  They are basically looking for us to compensate them in cash for the land we ll be spoiling. Greedy people." Jane added his views to wat Yong said.

Singto listened quietly. He knew Frank was listening to their conversation and he was a local. He would certainly have a sense of partiality towards his place and ppl..he wished P'Jane had been more diplomatic..He decided to make his conclusions after he had spoken to the intern and heads..

"P'Yong, have u spoken to the intern? When can I meet him?" Singto asked.

"Hawhňā..he said he ll come over when u're free.. I just need to inform him.."

"Good, can he come over for lunch? We can talk as we eat."

"I ll inform him sir." And Yong made a call to ask the boy to meet them for lunch..

" P'Jane once lunch is over pls work on the town heads or representatives. I need to meet them by the evening."

"Yes sir," he nodded..

They reached the mansion.." Frank wat about the network here.  Do we not get internet and cell phone signals?"

"It's tough as we have only one service provider sir."

"Wats the alternative for internet?"

"The old way, through the landline and modems."

"Can u set that up for our house?"

"Ya, but it ll cost."

"Get, it done. It's mandate for communication anyway."

"Yes sir."

Dae set the table up, fried rice and stir fried veggies..again so yummy, that Singto couldn't help but praise the boy about his culinary skills..

The young intern had joined them for lunch. He was quite an intelligent and interesting character Singto observed..

"How did u find the presence of the mineral in the mountain Nai" Singto enquired.

"Bees Sir."

"Bees?" Singto looked confused..

"Yes sir, there are many bee hives in there as you may have noticed. One night I was using my u.v torch to search for my watch, that had a radium dial. I had dropped it during a picnic to the meadow tat morning.  Radium glows in uv light.. My search disturbed a bee hive by mistake and the bees swarmed out. Some that got caught in my torch beam glowed in blue flourescence. After that I frequented the spot and guessed it's significance.  Flourspar s present and being mined in other parts of Mongolia.  We just weren't aware of its presence here."

"That was really smart of you.  But why did you reveal it to the company if u didn't want it to be mined?" Singto narrowed his eyes.

Nai looked at Yong, who in turn looked down. Singto wondered wat was going on, when Yong spoke up.

"Sir, Nai was working under my department and we were really close.  One day when we were talking he told me about this. Someone overheard us and the higher ups came to know.  P'Nat took up the project and tried to trick these people into selling the land. Once they came to know they had been cheated, they got a stay on the construction. Nai still thinks  I ratted him out. But I didn't. "

Singto nodded understanding the situation. He was in a real big mess. How could he set right wat the company had done wrong? Well he still had the village representatives to meet..so maybe he'd get some ideas from them.

"Thanks for sharing this with me P'Nai. I ll do my best to keep the people's interest in mind."he said.

"Thank you khun..I hope u do that..cause my people are really angry with me now. If u set this right u ll have my gratitude forever."

Singto nodded..

Meeting the town representatives....

It was evening by the time Singto could get an appointment with the representatives of the town.  They were hostile and sought no alliance with him. Infact P'Jane couldn't convince them. In the end P'Wave spoke to them and made them understand that they're there only to understand their views and not to reinstate the mining.

Singto sat across a round table with the towns people. They had made it known that they'd only talk to Singto and he was allowed a translator. No one else was allowed..

After 2 hrs of rigorous discussion,Singto came out satisfied. He had a plan on how to make this work, both for his company and also the town. Hopefully the board would accept his proposal..

After reaching the guest house, he used the landline and dialed his mom first..

"Mae, Sawadee khrap..how are u?"

"I am good my son..How's it going there? Are u comfortable? How's the negotiations going on?"

"Mom I am fine here and ya it's quite comfortable..don't worry about that..I spoke to the intern and the townspeople. And based on those talks I wanted to talk to you.."

"Wat is it son?"

"Mae, our company has got the land by fooling the people here. If we continue with the mining, nature and the people will suffer..instead I have a proposal to convert this place into an eco tourist spot with an eco resort in the land we purchased. Also that mountain has a lot of bee hives so organic apiculture would be a profitable side too.Can you get the project approved?"

"I would need a detailed plan Sing..a perfect report, proposal and design. Budget and projected profit too. Will u be able to do it alone..?"

"I need to mom..I can't stop now..I need to atleast try my best right?"

"Ok..use ur team to the fullest Sing..take a day and type it all out and mail it to me. "

"Ok, Mae but there's one issue. Network s haphazard here so I ll try my best to mail it as soon as possible. "

"Ok..I ll try to do something about the network..and ya..don't trust anyone else with ur plan..do it urself and handle it with the highest secrecy.."

"Khrap Mae, I ll do tat..I ll call u if I have anymore doubts then.. "

"Call me anytime son..and take care.."

"Bye Mae. "

So now Singto has a game plan, he was more confident..all he needed was to make it work...

This book is back to slow updates..

The facts given here about Mongolia and flourspar, few are true and the rest are made up..so if u find something where wat I say doesn't match, pls don't take it to heart......

I  am trying to update Moon to Dr.Sun but that's stuck too, so probably tomorrow, as I am too sleepy today.

And vacation s almost over..so back to online classes from next week 😭😭..
