At around 4 p.m in the evening, Arthit woke up and came downstairs. He saw Kong sitting at the kitchen island looking at something in his palm thoughtfully..

He walked upto him and hugged him from behind and brought his lips to kiss his cheek when he felt tat it was wet...

"Kong why are you crying?" He asked surprised. He turned Kong around to look at him..It looked like he had been crying for a very long time..his brow creased into a frown and he stared at Kong demanding an answer...

Kong sniffled and rubbed his nose before showing him the ring and asking...."P'Arthit where did u find this?"

"That belongs to a patient who came in from the burning hotel yesterday..why??"

"P'Arthit please take me to see her, naa naa"Kong got up excitedly..he started dragging Arthit to the exit not realizing the elder was in sleepwear and hadn't eaten since last night...

"Hold on Kong. What's the hurry?"

" I have to meet her P'..She's the only link I have to my family." Kong pleaded..

"Ok, I ll just change and we ll go. But u are telling me the details in the car ok?". Kong nodded. So Arthit changed and was back in a few mins and they left..

In the car,Kong explained to Arthit how he had gotten his half of the ring from the orphanage, without revealing who he really was, just giving the necessary details to let him know how important finding the person was to him..

They reached the hospital, parked and Arthit made his way straight to the reception desk..showing his I.d he asked, "Can you tell me which room no. is patient no. 27 from yesterday's fire accident allotted?"

She nodded her head and started clicking on the computer..she then looked up and said , " Some of the patients with less life threatening injuries were discharged earlier today Dr.Arthit..it seems she was one of them. She left around 12.30 p.m. this afternoon. "

Kong slumped. He could almost feel the tears breaking through..

"Any information on her address or contact details?" Arthit asked.

"You can use your official i.d. to login for those Dr. I am not authorized to access tat information. " the nurse said.

"Of course, thank you." Arthit smiled at the nurse and grabbing Kong's hand moved towards Rome's room..

Once there they found the rest of the gang. Kong's friends were alright by now almost ready to go home and the others were just joking around after all the hardwork..

"Bright, we need your help." Arthit came right to the point as he barged in..

" Wats up Arthit, you sound tense."

" I ll tell you shortly, but first find me the contact details of patient no. 27 from yesterday's fire accident. "

"Ok.." said Bright and took out his laptop. After just a few clicks he had the info needed but it was of no use..her address was listed as the hotel which burned down and as it was now closed they had no idea where she went. They tried calling the number listed in her contacts but it was switched off..

Kong was upset. If he had woken up Arthit when he found the ring he could have met her...it was all his fault now.. he couldn't stay in one place, his mind was in turmoil, feeling the disappointment of coming so close yet not being able to reach his goal..

He got up and walked out saying "I ll be right back. " not looking at anyone.
The others knew tat something was wrong so they didn't stop him, knowing he needed to be alone to gather his thoughts...

Arthit got up to follow him but Tay pulled him back.." let him have his space Arthit..he needs to be alone."

Arthit hung back reluctantly. He hoped the woman would come back looking for the ring as it seemed to be precious to her..

The other's were looking at him questioningly, so heaving a huge sigh he set about explaining wat Kong had told him..

Meanwhile...

Whenever Kong was upset there was only one person he turned to, who had seen his worst and best, been with him through all the tough times..

So tat s where he found himself again. Pushing through the glass doors of the art gallery. His presence was announced by a jingle of the bells on the door.

Wave looked up from his work. Seeing him like tat. He asked the newly appointed helper to lock up as it was almost closing time and went after Kong.

"Wat is it this time nong? Why the sad face?"he asked..

He could see it was something more serious this time..

In response to his question, Kong took out the ring from his pocket and showed it to him..he didn't understand at first but when he took a closer look at it realization dawned on him..

"You found them ??"he asked excitedly..

Kong shook his head in a 'no' and went about explaining the details..as he neared then end he nearly broke down..

Wave hugged him, "hey, its ok. U finding this s a sign tat u will be united with them. If u were not destined to , even this clue, proving your family still exists won't be there. "
Kong hugged him back..drawing courage from his warmth like he always had...
