"Kawa I can't tell you that. What Iwa tells me is in confidence and I don't intend to break it". Matsun replied. Kawa glared at him, "it says in his diary that he was going to ask me even before we started dating". "I'm sorry Kawa, I cannot confirm or deny" and with that the two boys sat next to Iwa's bed.

Everyone sat quietly until Makki cleared his throat and said, "you are getting out of this room even if it's only for an hour". " No I'm not leaving Iwa chan", the boy said adamantly. " Listen to me, me, Suga, Akaashi, Hinata and Kenma are going to take you to the hospital cafe to get something to eat", Makki replied.

"I'm not hungry and I don't want to leave Iwa chan" he said adamantly. "Look Kawa, Iwa's dad is really worried about you and he's got enough to worry about, so do it for him. Kunimi and Kindaichi are coming to see him and they've invited Kageyama so Iwa won't be alone, we'll stay with him", Matsun promised.

"Ok I'll go but just for his dad". Both boys smiled. "Come then Kawa, let's go meet the others", Hanamaki chuckled. Kawa sat on the bed at the side of Iwa and cupped his face in his hands and kissed him gently. He whispered in his ear, " I won't be long so please don't go anywhere. I love you and I'll marry you no matter how long it takes" and then he got up and he and Hanamaki left the room.

Suga, Akaashi, Hinata and Kenma were already sitting waiting when the 2 boys entered the room. Suga gasped at how thin and worn out Kawa looked, "guys please don't be too shocked when Kawa gets here". They all greeted each other and sat down to decide what they were going to eat. Kawa noticed that Hinata was really quiet so he spoke to him quietly, "chibi chan, are you ok?" That's when the flood gates opened and the small boy began sobbing uncontrollably.

Everyone looked worriedly at the small boy and Suga asked him, "what's wrong?" Hinata looked at Oikawa and apologised, " I'm so sorry Oikawa san it's just so upsetting seeing you like this and knowing what you are going through. It's so unfair". Oikawa pulled Hinata into a hug, "I know but I have to believe that Iwa chan will get better, I have to because anything else would be devastating". Hinata cuddled the older boy tighter so that he would know that everyone cared about him and that they were praying that Iwa would come back to him.

Kawa managed to stay away for an hour and he ate something and managed to keep it down. He thanked all of his friends for supporting him and walked back to Iwa's room with Hanamaki.

An hour later he was alone again with Iwa. He lay on the bed by the side of the boy, kissed him on the cheek and opened the boys diary.

IWA'S DIARY - SUMMER BREAK

(I'm so excited, me, Kawa, Makki and Matsun are going on our camping trip today. The only problem is that I have to sleep in the same tent as Kawa, it's going to be absolute torture being next to him and not touching him)

Oikawa blushed profusely and realised that he had felt exactly the same about Iwa on that trip. He remembered the first night, they were laid facing each other and Kawa heard Iwa's breathing regulate, he was sure that the boy was asleep. He couldn't stop himself as he slowly moved closer, he ran his thumb gently over Iwa's lips, he didn't want to wake him. Suddenly he couldn't hold back anymore and he softly placed his lips on Iwa's it felt  amazing. Iwa started to stir from his sleep so Kawa scrunched his eyes together to make it look like he was asleep.

IWA'S DIARY - SECOND DAY

(Oh my God, Kawa kissed me last night. I think that he thought that I was sleeping but I felt everything. I think I'm in love.)

Kawa put the book down and snuggled into his boyfriend, "I love you too Iwa chan."
